I woke up this morning to a pending charge of $20.39 from Facebook which I don't recognize. I messaged them to dispute the charge, but my account got locked due to suspicious activity. I tried to change my password but kept getting an error. Facebook doesn't offer phone support, so I'm stuck without access to my account. I also found another unauthorized charge from Facebook on September 11th. I've contacted my bank about these charges. I urgently need someone from Facebook to reach out to me before I escalate this further. It's frustrating not to have live customer support in situations like this. I'm hoping to have this situation resolved promptly.

Hello, Gethuman, I am experiencing issues with Facebook after reporting a hacking incident involving someone pretending to be my cousin. Facebook requested my ID to regain access to my account. Despite uploading my legal government ID numerous times, including my Maryland driver's license and Montgomery County Maryland government ID, the process seems stuck. Every time I click on "CONTINUE," it restarts the ID uploading process repeatedly. The absence of Messenger has caused me to miss a crucial meeting since all the necessary location details were on Messenger. I have reset my password multiple times to no avail. About six days ago, I was unexpectedly placed in Facebook jail for no apparent reason. While I was browsing my news feed, I was suddenly logged out of my account and faced restrictions upon logging back in. Today, after the initial restriction was lifted, I was once again logged out due to a supposed suspicious login attempt. Despite repeatedly trying to confirm my identity by selecting friends, recalling recent comments, and entering my birthday, I have been unsuccessful. Facebook continues to reject the information I provide, including my birthday which they claim does not match their records. With an extensive network of [redacted] friends, this ordeal has erased twelve years' worth of networking and relationships. I am seeking assistance in reclaiming access to my account.

Despite selecting friends as "see first," the algorithm seems to be hindering this visibility. After my feedback, I have observed a significant decline in receiving any Facebook notifications, even from friends who post frequently. My notification settings remain unchanged, and I am seeking clarification on this issue. Additionally, a recent post from my account did not receive the expected number of comments. Hello, I am writing to seek assistance regarding my Facebook account. A few days ago, someone unauthorized gained access and removed my phone number and email associated with the account. Hello, I recently joined a private humor page where members roast others who post pictures. Unfortunately, I received a 30-day ban for making a comment that included the word "cracker." I used the phrase in reference to someone mentioning their race as white and intended it as a joke. I come from the U.K., where "cracker" is not considered offensive, just a type of biscuit. I now understand that the term can be seen as racist towards white individuals. I genuinely meant to make people laugh with my comment. I kindly ask for the ban to be lifted as it has affected my ability to communicate through Messenger, which I need for work and family connections. Thank you.

My Facebook account was hacked, and the hackers changed my password and email. After contacting Facebook with my ID, they sent me a reset link. However, I am not receiving the code generator code on my mobile. I did not set up the code generator or 2FA before the hack. Please help me reset my password as I suspect the hackers are sending messages from my account. If Facebook could send the code to my email at [redacted] instead of my mobile, it would be appreciated. If needed, I don't mind starting a new account with all my details transferred. Thank you.

Earlier today, I noticed that my friend's account was hacked. I reported the issue to Facebook to alert them of the unauthorized access. Shortly after, when I attempted to log in, Facebook requested my identification. I provided my password and a recovery code sent to my phone, but was then asked to submit a valid ID copy. This requirement was surprising to me, as I was unaware of the updated security measures. Additionally, my ID name differs from my Facebook profile name. I feel frustrated that I wasn't given the opportunity to recover my account or prove my identity.

My name is Jennifer Martin. My fiance's name is Lee Grecian Jr. Recently, his Facebook account was taken down, but it should not have been. There has been a crime committed on the platform, and the account removal seems to be an attempt to cover it up. This is concerning as his account holds precious memories for me, my kids, and many others. It is unfair to take away these memories, especially when there are deceased individuals whose memories are preserved there. I have documented the threats, slandering, and terrorist activities on Facebook and have involved my lawyer in pursuing this as a serious matter. Removing the account without proper justification implies involvement in the ongoing crime. I will take legal action to address this issue if the account is not reinstated. Please reconsider the situation at hand as unjust actions have consequences.

I manage the Instagram account @DudeThatDoodles, which I recently converted into a business account. In an effort to utilize Instagram promotions, I needed to link it to a Facebook account and create a Facebook page. Although I set up a new Facebook account for this purpose, I encountered difficulties with the verification process, resulting in its immediate disabling. Despite having invested $30 into the promotions before the account was disabled, my primary concern is the inability to link my Instagram account to my personal Facebook account. Various error messages have prevented this process, and my ultimate goal is to delink and delete the disabled Facebook account from my Instagram. My Facebook account was hacked three days ago. The hacker changed both the password and the connected email, leaving me without access. Despite adding another email, I can't receive the 6-digit code to recover my account. I've tried all suggestions from Facebook's help center to no avail. Despite verifying my identity multiple times, Facebook's response claimed the issue was resolved when my account is still hacked, with a new name and disturbing profile picture. This breach of privacy is stressful, and Facebook's lack of assistance is disappointing. My original account with the name Kate Amarasekara has been changed to Esraa Babiker. Another account now displays this new name linked to my former one. I simply want to regain access to delete my account.

I encountered a security issue on Facebook where a page requested I send a verification code to my phone, but I never received it despite multiple attempts. Hello, I encountered an issue with Facebook while trying to promote my new cleaning business website. Despite checking the link before running the ad, Facebook blocked access to it citing Community Standards violations. I have reported numerous instances of misuse of the platform, including slander, harassment, and nudity, but it seems like I am the one facing consequences. I stand by my right to freedom of speech and advocate for our president, yet I end up in "Facebook jail" each time. I am having trouble accessing my old Facebook account as I forgot the password and when I tried to retrieve a 6-digit code via the "forgot password" option, it was sent to an old email address linked to the account that I can no longer access.
