My Facebook Messenger got hacked. Someone used my account to ask my husband for compromising photos. They deleted their messages and my personal media. I have screenshots showing the different conversation. I'm wondering if it's possible to track down the hacker. I've already changed all my passwords.

I have been the victim of hacking for the last 48 hours. The hacker has been blackmailing me through Facebook Messenger and Skype, threatening to share my nudes if I don't comply. Despite complying, I still cannot access my accounts, and Facebook has blocked me from receiving a verification code. Will I ever regain access to my Facebook account after being blocked for so long?

I have noticed that there are regularly 2-4 anonymous viewers on my public Facebook story within minutes of posting it. Unlike Instagram, Facebook doesn't show me who viewed it, and I believe this lack of transparency could be concerning, particularly in light of new laws around stalking and harassment. It would be beneficial if I could see a list of everyone who has viewed my story and have the option to block them if necessary. I am facing issues with accessing my two Facebook accounts tied to the same phone number. I recently discovered the option to set up text messages for account verification, and as a result, I missed receiving these texts which led to the disabling of my accounts. I kept trying to resend the texts without success. One of these accounts is crucial for my business, where I have created and manage business pages essential for my work. The affected account is linked to [redacted] I urgently need to regain access to my accounts as my business heavily relies on them. I had plans to start advertising on Facebook this week and this situation is causing me a lot of distress.

When attempting to log into my account, I encounter the following message: "We've detected suspicious activity on your Facebook account and temporarily blocked it for security reasons. It's possible your account was compromised after entering your password on a site designed to look like Facebook. This type of attack is known as phishing. Learn more in our Help Center. In the next steps, we will guide you through a security check to help you secure your account and allow you to log in again." To unblock the account, I am asked to provide a form of identification, which I disagree with (according to GDPR regulations in the EU). Is there an alternative method to regain access to the account?

This morning, I discovered that a group on my page had been taken over. I am requesting the administrators to be removed from Facebook. The group affected was Gun Owners of America, which was renamed National Gun Registry Page (Official) with a history showing it was previously Gun Owners of America for the 2nd Amendment. I expressed my disagreement with this inappropriate action and promptly left the group. I feel deeply offended by the hijacking of the group. I have since rejoined Gun Owners of America. While I understand that Facebook may not be completely neutral, I hope that this kind of behavior is not tolerated by Facebook, and that action will be taken against this group and its administrators. I recently got a new iPhone and restored it from the cloud, but unfortunately, my Facebook and instant messaging passwords were not recovered. I haven't used my Facebook account for a few days. Today, when I logged in, I received a message saying that my account would be disabled soon and the confirmation OTP was sent to my old, deactivated number. I can't access the OTP to recover my account. All my valuable information is stored there, and my other accounts are linked to it. I'm worried about losing access to my account and the connected accounts. I need help to resolve this issue and prevent losing my account.

I am facing issues with my Facebook business page for Homes For Heroes. Somehow, Facebook changed the name to Keller Williams Ballantyne Area, which is not correct. I attempted to correct it, but my request was denied, leaving me confused. The accurate name for my business page should be Homes for Heroes - Plachecki Home Sales. I want to clarify that I am affiliated with Keller Williams Ballantyne for my real estate business only, not as the business name on Facebook.

My Facebook account got hacked, resulting in a 30-day suspension due to the hacker's actions. I've made multiple attempts to reach out to Facebook through various channels but haven't been successful. It's frustrating because once Facebook's Community Standards team makes a decision, it seems final. I'm at a loss on how to effectively communicate with them. The phone number provided for Facebook hasn't been helpful either. Being blocked out for a whole month is excessive, and I'm feeling really fed up.

I have been locked out of my Facebook account because I forgot my password and can no longer access the email linked to it. Despite confirming my identity through codes sent to trusted friends, I am stuck in a loop trying to update my email address to regain access. Facebook indicated they would send an email to confirm the change, but I have yet to receive it. Any further attempts to resolve this issue only lead back to where I started two days ago. I need clear instructions on how to proceed from here.

Our business account was deactivated more than two weeks ago. We are a small business in the craft industry with fewer than [redacted] followers. We invested significant effort into building our presence and losing it suddenly could significantly impact us. Facebook states we can appeal every 30 days to recover our account. They allege the page was unpublished due to unintentional or misleading engagement with users, a claim that seems unfounded given our business focus on handmade products. Is there any way to expedite the process of recovering our account? Any assistance would be greatly valued.

I seem to have lost access to my Facebook account. Someone I am unfamiliar with has accessed my account and made changes without my consent. My Facebook account was solely linked to my phone number and not an email address. I did not receive any notifications on my phone regarding the changes made. The individual is now using my account, particularly my high-level PUBG Mobile account. I remember most of my old passwords used on Facebook and can provide my phone number that was associated with the account. I would like for the account to be either banned or retrieved to prevent any possible data breaches. I am 19 years old and have a personal account under the name Savannah H. I recently began modeling and created a separate modeling account using a TextNow number that I lost due to inactivity. I attempted to access my Facebook account through the app and was unexpectedly logged out. I was asked to re-enter my password, but then prompted to input a code sent via text, which I never received. Clicking on "resend code" resulted in an error message stating that I had requested too many codes, despite it being my first time. Seeking further assistance led me to submit a photo of my ID a week ago, but I am still unable to regain access to my account.

I'm a member of the "If Loving You Is Wrong And The Haves And Have Nots Official Fan Group." Unfortunately, I've been experiencing issues with the moderators and the creator of the group. My posts were deleted, not approved, and my notifications were turned off, even when the creator put my posts on post approval. After 7 months of this treatment, I reached out to the creator with screenshots of my conversations with the moderators, but even after they were removed, the creator sided with them. Now, the creator has also turned off my notifications and put my posts on snooze, claiming it's a Facebook problem that she's waiting to be fixed, but it's been weeks. I feel bullied by the moderators and the creator, and I believe Facebook should investigate this group for their behavior.

My Facebook account is locked, and it asks me to submit an ID. I've sent a copy of my ID, but I haven't received any updates. If there was a reason for the lockout, please inform me instead of just locking me out. I want my account to be unlocked because Facebook says it's not disabled. It would be better if Facebook contacted users for their IDs instead of immediately shutting them out without explanation. Dealing with this ID algorithm is quite frustrating. Perhaps having actual people handle this process instead of a computer would be more efficient.

As the owner of an advertising agency specializing in Facebook promotions, we recently created a Facebook Business Page for a client wanting to promote a location-based offer. After running the ad, the client requested to delete the page, which proved challenging due to the requirement to delete the location first. Unfortunately, navigating Facebook's process for location deletion was not straightforward, leading to unsuccessful attempts. We own a Facebook account that contains our business brand's page. Although we can log into the Facebook account, we are unable to access the business page itself. The three individuals who originally created the page have since left our company, leaving us without the ability to post on the page. Unfortunately, we are unable to see the "Page Roles" icon on our account, and we have not been able to make any posts since the end of August. This is causing a challenge for us as we are also unable to access the page via Hootsuite for management purposes.
