I have been using the same Facebook account for a long time. However, this morning when I tried to access Messenger, it said my session had expired and I was logged out. I couldn't log back in, and even my friend mentioned that my profile picture and last message only showed as "Facebook user" and a shadow. It seems like my account may have been deleted. The issue is that my account is linked to an old Yahoo email that I never updated or backed up. I've never experienced this problem before, and all my memories are on that account. I haven't had multiple Facebook accounts, just the one. Can anyone assist me in recovering my account?

I am reaching out regarding my partner's Facebook account being hacked on September 13, [redacted]. Instead of attempting to recover it, he created a new account with the same name and email. Initially, he could still view his old account with the profile picture and tried to recover it using the verification code sent, but it pertained to the new account. Unfortunately, the profile picture is now not visible, and after deactivating the new account and numerous unsuccessful attempts over days, we are unable to retrieve the old account. I am seeking assistance to help my partner restore his old account, as he is distressed and would like to regain access to his numerous family and friends connections there. I encountered an issue logging into Messenger this morning. It prompted me to verify my identity, which was unexpected as I recently switched to a new phone, and my messages transferred successfully. Despite attempting all verification options twice, I was unsuccessful. Even when correctly identifying friends and comments, it could not verify my identity. Unfortunately, in the "get help from friends" option, most friends with iPhones could not access the link. One friend, Tawny Border, provided me with the code "[redacted]," but I am unable to obtain the other two codes due to their phone limitations. I rely on Messenger to stay in touch with my out-of-state daughter and to play games on Facebook. This issue is preventing me from connecting to games until I verify my identity. Last September, Facebook unexpectedly requested my identification. I was hesitant to provide my actual details, so I submitted a random image. Ever since, I have been unable to access my account. Each time I attempt to log in, I am redirected to a page stating, “Unfortunately, you won’t be able to access your account while we’re reviewing these additional documents. We appreciate your patience, and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.” After waiting nearly a month, I eventually gave up and created a new account. However, I am now reminded of the items I wish to retrieve from the old account. Although I still receive notifications from Facebook to my email, I am unable to take any action. Furthermore, I am unable to find my old account through my new one. The username of my old Facebook account is “Other Guy,” and the email associated with it is [redacted]

Last night, I upgraded to a new Note 10 Plus and seem to have activated the code generator on my old phone without realizing. When I tried logging into my Facebook account, it prompted for the code generated on the old device. Confused, I assumed it was a code I set up and didn't check the text messages. By the time I realized my mistake, I had made too many attempts and received an error message to try again later. I have submitted my driver's license and a selfie with a requested code to Facebook, but have not received a response yet. I am hoping to regain access to my account as I've had it for over 8 years and would prefer not to create a new one. Thank you for any assistance you can provide.

A group is being sold against Facebook rules. The group was sold a month ago, and new sellers are creating pages for these groups. Two groups are being sold actively: Silver Miners and the American Coin Club. David L. and Tom S. sold Silver Miners to Joseph S. around six weeks ago. These groups are generating significant annual revenue from coin and silver bullion sales and are offering services to bypass marketplace payments, charging fees for sales. Proof is available, including signed bills of sale. One seller has acknowledged using a hacking widget to manipulate Facebook, openly admitted by David L. in a recent post.

I recently joined Facebook and everything was smooth until I faced a security check issue and had to provide my phone number and a photo of myself, which I couldn't do as I was using a laptop and didn't have any suitable photos. I uploaded a picture of flowers temporarily but got a message saying my account is under review. When I tried to log in later, I found out it had been disabled. I really need my account back to connect with my flatmates before starting University. Is there any chance of recovering it?

On September 16th, I received a notification stating I violated Facebook Community Standards due to an image I posted. The message claimed the image depicted nudity or sexual activity, leading to a 30-day account suspension. I appealed this decision immediately since the image did not breach any standards. I was relieved when Facebook acknowledged their mistake the same day: "We're sorry we got this wrong. We reviewed your post again and it does follow our Community Standards. We appreciate you taking the time to request a review. Your feedback helps us do better." However, despite the resolution in my favor and the post being restored, my access to Facebook remains restricted. Unfortunately, my attempts to contact support have gone unanswered, and I am unable to upload relevant screenshots due to a temporary restriction. My name on the account is E. I posted a comment on Facebook stating my frustration with mass shootings by white individuals and ended up in Facebook jail for a day for supposed hate speech. I disagree with this label as I see it as a fact. Meanwhile, I've observed Trump supporters making nasty and threatening comments without facing similar consequences. I cherish my freedom of speech and believe expressing my opinion should not lead to a ban. It feels unfair to single out those who speak against Trump. I hope my 24-hour ban is lifted, and I urge Facebook to review complaints more fairly. It's disheartening as a long-time user to face such a situation, and I know others share the same sentiment.

On September 16th, I received a notification stating that a post I shared on Facebook violated their Community Standards due to nudity or sexual activity, resulting in a 30-day suspension. I promptly appealed this decision as the image did not contain any such content. Facebook later acknowledged their mistake and reinstated the post, confirming that it followed their standards. However, despite this resolution, my account remains suspended, and attempts to contact Facebook through the support center have gone unanswered. I have a Shopify store and I want to link it with my new Facebook business page so I can showcase my products on Instagram. However, after providing the required description clarifying that my products are not medicinal, my first Facebook page got disabled with no apparent reason.
