I consider myself a friendly person and never had any issues with Facebook until recently. I always bantered with two close friends using playful insults like "kys," "f*** you," and other light-hearted jabs. It was all in good fun, as we all understood it was a joke. About a week ago, one of these friends began bullying me during a private conversation. Despite my initial assumption it was still banter, he continued with toxic behavior. In response, I engaged in similar banter. He then threatened to report me and possibly have my account deactivated. This account holds sentimental value as I've used it for personal and gaming purposes for about seven years, investing $[redacted] and countless hours into it. I have evidence of his calls and our Instagram conversation where he acknowledged my disabled account. I hope for understanding and assistance as I feel betrayed and helpless in this situation. Thank you for your support.

My Facebook Messenger account was hacked, and a video message was sent to all my contacts. Upon receiving messages from friends who couldn't access the video, I realized the breach. Facebook notified me of a suspicious login in Plano, TX, asking if it was me, to which I replied no. Despite posting about the hack on my wall, friends continued to report being unable to open the video sent by the hacker. I promptly changed my password and tried warning my contacts I had been hacked. After sending approximately [redacted] messages cautioning against opening the video, Facebook flagged my high messaging activity as suspicious and temporarily suspended my account pending review. However, I've not received any further communication from Facebook and remain locked out of my account. I seek guidance on how to prompt a review of my situation and regain access to my Facebook account.

I have been a member of Facebook since [redacted]. I have 5 Facebook pages as I am a mortgage broker. I rely on social media for my business. Recently, I received an email from Facebook about a password change attempt. I clicked the link in the email to verify my account, but now I can't access my account or pages. I suspect I've been hacked because despite sending over 10 emails with my authentication details, Facebook has not helped me. The hacker seems to have changed my email and phone number on the account, so I can't receive the authentication codes. I've tried everything and even sought help from professionals, but Facebook remains unresponsive. I'm worried about my [redacted] friends and what the hacker might be doing. I just want Facebook to assist me in regaining access to my account and stop the hacker. Please reach out to me for assistance at [redacted] or [redacted]. - Amy B.

When my Facebook event page hosts a Spotify music preview, it links to the wrong artist. Spotify confirms the issue isn't on their end. Facebook's synchronization is causing the problem, possibly due to artists sharing the same name. Rectifying this is crucial for our business to market events correctly. There is no clear guidance on how to fix this apart from the standard "report a problem" option on Facebook. It's essential to ensure this issue is resolved to prevent future occurrences.

I am experiencing issues with my Facebook accounts, where they seem to be linked but I am facing a security concern with one of them. The main account is under [redacted] with an ice drop icon. The second account, Fontenot's Watchmen, has a sword icon, and the third account under Cathy Johnson has a green eye with gold around it, but I am unable to reset this account as the phone number listed is incorrect. I mistakenly created another account while attempting to reset, but have since deleted it. I am not able to receive text messages for reset codes as the listed number is a home number [redacted] instead of [redacted]. I do not have SMS texting and would require a reset code sent to my email at [redacted] for the Cathy Johnson account, not the kitntrisha account. Thank you for looking into this matter.

Hello everyone, I have faced incorrect blocking on Facebook twice this week due to their support team mishandling images that adhere to community guidelines. Earlier this week, Facebook blocked one of my images which was later reinstated upon review proving it followed the guidelines. Despite this, I received a 3-day ban without reason. The case was closed even before a human reviewed the image. Tonight, the same issue occurred, and once more the image was reinstated. Unfortunately, I received a 30-day ban unjustly. The case was closed before the image was reviewed. I am currently unable to post to the help center to express my concerns. My account can be found at Facebook.com/andy.borland2.

I suspect my Facebook account has been hacked. A friend abroad shared a warning about an alleged hacker named Andrea Wilson who could access accounts through friendship requests. I am unable to use Messenger, and despite repeatedly deleting certain contacts, they keep reappearing with friend requests. The message advises users to warn their contacts about Andrea Wilson and not to accept any requests from her to prevent being hacked.

A few weeks ago, I got a message from a Facebook friend like this: "Be careful: I got a message from you showing on your wall." Please warn all your Messenger contacts not to accept a friend request from Andrea Wilson, who's supposedly a hacker. If someone accepts, you might get hacked too, so spread the word to your friends. This got forwarded to me, and now I've seen it again. I changed my password last time this happened. Is this legitimate? I appreciate any advice.

Hello, I am a musician, Godwin Muses, and I have been gradually shifting my focus to create music that addresses socioemotional issues. I am excited to introduce my work under a new name, "The Major Lift," but I am encountering difficulties changing my page name due to what seems like a limitation. I have a loyal following of [redacted] followers and have invested significantly in Facebook ads. I feel frustrated by their restrictions and I would like the chance to appeal and have a conversation with someone from their team. My followers have been connected with me through this page for over 15 years, and starting anew would mean losing that connection. I truly value any assistance you can provide. Thank you for your support.

To Whom It May Concern, I have attempted to make a payment to boost a post or run an ad several times on Facebook, but I keep encountering payment issues using both a card and while trying to connect a bank account. Despite reaching out to Facebook support multiple times, I only receive generic responses stating the problem is resolved, yet the issues persist. My account name is Tyler J., and I am trying to work with my page, L3ts Print. The email associated with the page and from which I am contacting you is [redacted], while my Facebook page email is [redacted] Although I have successfully used Facebook advertising for a different page in the past, I am currently facing unresolved issues with my current page. I have already provided detailed explanations in 2 or 3 previous messages, but the problem persists with no actual resolution. Should you require additional information, please do not hesitate to reach out. Your assistance in resolving this frustrating matter is greatly appreciated. Sincerely,

Hello, I am experiencing difficulty accessing my current Facebook account. The email address associated with my account is outdated, and I can no longer retrieve messages from it. Here are the details of my existing account: Email Address: [redacted] (Unable to recall password as it's outdated). Phone Number: [redacted] (No longer in use due to relocation). I would greatly appreciate your guidance on how to resolve this issue. Thank you.

I posted comments on my friends' statuses tonight, but all 3 were blocked by FB for violating the Community Standards on Spam. My comments were normal and harmless. I responded to a co-worker's post about a class by mentioning another teacher might offer it at a different grade level. I also tried to comment "Prayers for a wonderful vacation!" on a friend's post and "I understand your pain" on another friend's fitness post. I've asked FB to review all my blocked comments, but I'm unsure if they will. This is a new issue for me, and it's frustrating. I want to post and comment without being blocked. Right now, I can still post in the group I manage, but nothing else. I use FB to keep in touch with loved ones and share various things, like offering prayers and showing empathy. I'm confused and hope there are no other issues. Thank you for your prompt help!

Hello, I am contacting you because my account has recently been compromised. The email associated with my account has been changed, and my phone number has been removed. While I was able to regain access on 8/28, I have since been locked out again. I have been a user for 10 years and am eager to recover my account. Unfortunately, when trying to seek assistance by calling a provided number, I fell victim to a scam requesting prepaid cards. I am reaching out to request help in reclaiming my account to prevent the loss of a decade's worth of valuable information. My name is ShanTina Tennyson, and I also operate a fan page named Tina Tennyson linked to my account, which I hope to retrieve. Additionally, a separate account under the name Tiffany Smith was created using my email without my consent, and I have deactivated it. Your prompt assistance in resolving these issues would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I found a message on my friend's Messenger regarding winning R800,[redacted], instructing me to add Shirley Hester on Facebook and click a link to claim my prize. Unfortunately, my friend's Messenger was hacked, and I fell for the scam. I followed the instructions, was asked for personal information, and requested to pay R47,[redacted] for courier fees. Sensing the scam, I questioned the legitimacy and was given banking details of an individual for the payment. When I accused him of being a scammer, he threatened to misuse my ID. I tried to gather evidence by allowing Messenger and Facebook to access our conversation. Now, uncertain of my actions, the link and photo of Hester Shirley remain, but the link seems inactive. I seek advice on reporting possible ID theft; should I contact the SAPS or Home Affairs? Your guidance is appreciated. Regards, Danie Roos

My Facebook account got disabled due to suspicious activity. Despite sending a picture of my driver's license for verification, I haven't received a response. Now, it's claiming my phone number is invalid, even though it's the same one linked to the account Facebook keeps disabling. Being on Facebook is crucial for me due to severe mental health issues, as it provides a connection with friends who understand. Unfortunately, regular tech support is not an option for me due to financial constraints on disability. I rely on Facebook to stay connected and any assistance is greatly appreciated.

I experienced a glitch on Facebook that unexpectedly logged me out of my account after years of being continuously logged in. Unfortunately, I can't recall my password and the recovery email I used is no longer active. It's disheartening as I am unable to retrieve important photos and videos of my children and cherished memories. My name is Morgan Matlock, and my old email was [redacted], which is now invalid. I have tried several passwords without success. Thank you for any help.

Hello, This is my personal account, and I am a real person as I have provided my authentic name and identity card. I have submitted my householding real authentic name ID card for verification. Please review it carefully. I want to clarify that I am not a fake person. Kindly reopen my account, as I believe it was disabled by mistake. The details in my account, including my photo matching the ID, are valid. Please review my date of birth and ID proof and reactivate my account. I kindly request your attention to this matter. Thank you.

It has been nearly 2 months since my Instagram account @1chasmonefa was mistakenly deleted for "impersonation." I only had 3 quote posts on my page, and the profile picture was of a celebrity model I admire. I have submitted appeal forms and explained that it was not intentional. I have followed the instructions to verify my identity but keep receiving requests for more verification. I am repeatedly asked to send a photo of myself holding a paper with a code while showing my face and hands. Despite complying multiple times, I continue to receive new requests for the same verification. I am seeking further assistance to regain access to my account.

A woman messaged my cousin through my Facebook account without my knowledge. After I found out, both my cousin and I alerted our Facebook friends about the issue. Later, I received a message from someone pretending to be my sister-in-law. I took measures by changing my password and opting for enhanced security with code verification for login attempts from unfamiliar devices. However, I faced repeated issues trying to input the correct codes sent via email or text, leading to login failures despite several password changes. Frustrated by the situation, I deactivated my Facebook account and created a new one, losing all my friends, saved data, marketplace items, private messages, and posts. Is there a way to reactivate my old Facebook account without losing its contents, deactivate the new account, and revert to the previous security settings? I am concerned about the security breach and would like to know what Facebook is doing to prevent such incidents. Any assistance in resolving these issues would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Janette S.

I've been unable to access my Facebook account named "Michelle Lynn" for nearly two months. Instead, I've resorted to using my old account under the name "Michelle Lynn Bradsher." I typically log in using my phone number for the "Michelle Lynn" account, but now it claims my password is incorrect, even though I never changed it. Oddly, when searching for my account recently, I couldn't locate it and was redirected to unfamiliar accounts calling me names like "Amy." Strangely, a new account named "Michelle Austin" has surfaced, resembling my original "Michelle Lynn" account from when it was first created, but with no content. This situation is baffling. Despite seeing my profile photo on my phone on the "Michelle Lynn" account from July 17th, I can't find the account at all on my laptop – it only displays a number, no photo, and refers to me as "AMY." This is a truly unique issue for me. Your prompt assistance would be greatly appreciated!
