To whom it may concern, I am a Facebook user and I feel that I am not being treated fairly according to your community rules. Many of President Trump's followers are posting derogatory comments about him and his wife, calling her derogatory names, and attempting to provoke emotional responses. Despite my efforts to remain composed, some of these comments are truly upsetting. Today, they were particularly aggressive with their instigations. As a former Marine with 20 years of service, I ended up responding by calling one person a derogatory term. I find it unfair that they can insult our former president and First Lady, yet if we respond in kind, we are penalized with a 30-day posting ban. I urge you to consider the instigating comments they are posting and how they trigger responses. Thank you and hoping for a resolution to this issue. Kerry C.

While using Facebook, I was suddenly logged out. When I tried to log back in using my email ([redacted]) and password, I was asked to enter my phone number. After entering my mobile number 1-[redacted], I received a message saying it was invalid. I'm not sure why this change occurred. I had to create a new account because my original one ([redacted]) was apparently hacked and disabled for posting against community rules. I've already submitted a photo of my ID, but the account is still disabled. - Jeff

I mistakenly posted a private message intended for myself, not for public viewing. Unfortunately, it contained inappropriate language resulting in a 30-day suspension. I acknowledge my error and apologize sincerely for the post. I did not intend for it to go public and regret that it did. In the future, I will ensure to never use offensive words or have such messages posted. I understand the need to remove the post and ask that it be erased immediately. I appreciate your understanding and kindness in this matter. If possible, I request a reduction in the suspension period. Thank you for your attention to this appeal. Best regards, Bob G. Hello, I am April Darden. I attempted to start a fundraiser for my cataract surgery on GoFundMe 6 days ago. I recently discovered that my fundraiser was active but not linked to my Facebook account. It seems that 26 people have already donated through the Facebook Fundraiser. I have screenshots of these donations which I can provide if necessary. With assistance from GoFundMe on Monday, August 26, [redacted], I was able to connect my Facebook account. However, on August 27, I received an email stating that the 26 donations were made through Facebook, with which GoFundMe is not associated. I am seeking help to recover these donations made through Facebook. Please assist me in resolving this issue. Sincerely, April Darden

I'm attempting to receive a code on my phone to reset my password, but it's not being sent. I can't request the code to be sent to the email linked to my Facebook because it's an old email I created when I first joined Facebook. I don't recall the complete email to reset it. I believed I had updated it to my new email and added a recovery email, but apparently not. The only option I have is my mobile number. Please assist.

Hello, my name is Kimberley Newsom, and I've been using Facebook since [redacted]. Recently, I've noticed the name Bella Krinsky appearing in some of my Facebook emails. Despite this, everything seemed normal until I tried to log in on my new phone with a new number. To my surprise, I found my account completely taken over by Bella Krinsky, leaving me unable to access it. Despite numerous attempts, I haven't been successful in recovering my account. A friend suggested creating a new account with a different email, but Facebook promptly disabled it. I am feeling confused, upset, and unsure of what steps to take next. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I would like to report a Facebook group that engages in harassment and spreads homophobic content. The main admin is Shawn Ellis. He manages the Facebook page under the name "Southern Speed Inc." and a related group called "SSi Performance." This group frequently bullies and harasses individuals in various car groups, including me and my friends who are part of Ford EcoBoost engine groups. Shawn Ellis has been known to make threats towards others. The content they post often violates community standards and incites violence and hatred. I have already reported some content from the page, but there is much more that needs to be addressed. I urge Facebook to take action against this group and its members. Thank you for your attention to this matter. - T. Cotton

I recently tried to log into my account after a period of inactivity and discovered that my password had been changed. When attempting to recover my password, I realized that my email address had been removed, and I am now unsure which email is linked to my account. Additionally, my phone number has also been removed. I have been informed that someone is sending messages to individuals on my friend's list. My account name is Nuaka K Nwikobe. I am willing to provide my national ID card and birth certificate for verification if necessary. I would greatly appreciate it if my email address ([redacted]) could be reconnected to my account so that I can reset my password. I have access to this email but it is no longer associated with my account. Your prompt attention to this matter is highly valued.

Dear Facebook Team, I recently requested a name change for my page, transitioning from Canapax Jeffrey's Bay to Turtle House Jbay. We have a physical shop established and have diligently informed our customers about the upcoming name change through our Facebook posts. The switch should not cause confusion as our target audience is primarily local, centered around our town, and not spread internationally or outside of the Eastern Cape, where our shop is directly accessible. The franchise we were part of, 'Canapax', is entangled in significant legal issues (particularly with law enforcement), prompting our desire to disassociate from them. Despite the name change, we maintain our commitment to offering high-quality herbal products and serving our community. Our followers have shown their full support and are eagerly anticipating the transition. Warm regards, Veleska

In [redacted], a Facebook page named WestonHLC was set up as the administrator for the For All Healthy Living Centre Page. Facebook requested proof of WestonHLC being a person, which led to submitting company documents in April [redacted]. Unfortunately, access to the account has been lost since then. WestonHLC served as the sole administrator for The For All Healthy Living Centre page but had three editors. Regrettably, this setup cannot be altered, preventing the addition of new staff or removal of old staff. Attempts to create a new Facebook business page have been unsuccessful as Facebook automatically deletes duplicates due to the existing company page. The challenge remains on how to change the administrator without access to log in as the current administrator.

I am experiencing harassment along with my husband in relation to our shared business. I inquired on a public page about their adherence to community standards and was subsequently banned without clear justification. When I reached out directly to the page in question, seeking clarification on their rules and policies, they provided vague responses and implied limitations due to Facebook regulations. I expressed concerns about individuals sharing unverified information that could be damaging, to which they referenced positive comments on my behalf but failed to acknowledge the inaccuracies in the post about my business. Despite addressing and resolving the issue independently, they refused to delete the post or engage in constructive dialogue. Following my threat of legal action for libel, I was unjustly banned from their page while they persisted in targeting my husband. The page causing distress is known as the Mon Preston County Rumor Mill, and I find it unjust that simply seeking transparency regarding their guidelines led to such targeted actions against us.

I want to share my experience with TLC Garden Services based on Harvard Road, Sandhurst. In July [redacted], Chris Blackman installed a fence in our back garden that was later deemed unfit for purpose during a small claims court case in Hastings. Despite us not authorizing it, he posted pictures of our property online and has yet to remove them upon request. Initially quoting £[redacted], he demanded £2,[redacted] upon completion. When we contested this, he took legal action against us. Subsequently, the court ruled in his favor for the extra £[redacted], but our counterclaim prevailed as the work was subpar, requiring the fence to be redone. Issues raised include his unauthorized use of images from others on his social media and website, including questionable reviews mostly from relatives. We have reported this to Trading Standards and the Advertising Standards as this behavior is misleading and unethical, potentially leading others to suffer financial loss.

I am the administrator of a new page for a charity called Mayfacs ManShed, and I am looking to join a group represented by the page. Despite being a member of the group through my personal profile and managing other pages, when I attempt to switch to interacting as the new page within the group, only my personal profile and other pages are available, not the new page. The settings for all my pages appear to be the same. I have even tried leaving the group as my personal profile, but the new page still does not show up under "Interacting As." Can anyone provide guidance on how I can successfully join the group as the Mayfacs ManShed page? Thank you, Ian.

I recently received a three-day suspension for using a Jeff Foxworthy quote and calling someone an idiot. I find it frustrating that a picture of the president nude was considered acceptable, as well as reported scams in movies, curse words, and other inappropriate content that somehow met Facebook's community standards. I am puzzled by why my suspension was given for a seemingly minor offense when others get away with much worse. I appealed the decision, but the response was unsatisfactory. I would appreciate an explanation regarding the inconsistency in enforcing community standards on the platform.

Dear Facebook, I am writing on behalf of Hope and Homes for Children, a non-governmental organization operating in Bosnia and Herzegovina since [redacted]. In BiH, there are approximately [redacted] children without parental care, and our organization is dedicated to providing them with the support they need to thrive in a family setting and realize their full potential within the community. We aim to accomplish our goals by [redacted]. Recently, some of our Facebook followers have encountered issues sharing our content on the platform. We value the opportunity to raise awareness about our cause, and we kindly request clarification on whether there is a specific restriction on sharing our posts. Our work is geared towards improving the lives of children without parental care and promoting child protection system reforms in the country. We are committed to upholding Facebook's community standards and would appreciate it if our content could be shared freely once again. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Sincerely, [Initials]

I am unable to access my account and decided to verify my identity using my driver's license. I have now received an email instructing me to confirm the legitimacy of my organization or business and provide proof of ownership by submitting specific documents from an ID list. These include a utility bill, local business license, tax filing, and various other forms. If I cannot provide these, I can alternatively submit a student ID, club membership ID, or other official identification showing my association with the organization. The email also requests a scan or photo of an item from the ID list to verify my identity. The message states that once my identity is confirmed, access to my account will be restored. The email is signed by Jordan Skyler. Can anyone confirm if this email is legitimate?

I am having trouble accessing my Facebook account, which I have used for about a decade. The issue is that the only email address linked to it is one from when I was about 10 years old, and I no longer remember the password for it. Yahoo has not been helpful in resolving this matter. Despite trying ID verification and receiving a link to reset the password, I keep getting a message saying there have been too many attempts. The account user they claim is mine is [redacted], but I cannot access it. I usually log in with [redacted], and my name is Maxwell Naber. Reconnecting with around [redacted] friends and rejoining numerous clubs would be a hassle, and I simply want to regain access to my account, as it belongs to me. The profile picture features me wearing a red shirt alongside two other individuals.

I recently received a message from Facebook stating that I requested to disable my payment account, but I never made such a request. They are asking for my bank to confirm this, but my bank cannot provide that information for security reasons. I have informed Facebook multiple times that my third party account is active, with no indicators of any block on Facebook. Despite my explanations, I continue to receive the same generic responses requesting my bank's confirmation. I have lost track of how many times this has happened and I am unable to reach a human for a proper discussion. I am unsure of how Facebook obtained this misinformation and despite my efforts to clarify, the issue persists. I even shared a chat record with my bank explaining their limitations in sharing my account details with Facebook. The constant back and forth has been frustrating, and I just want to have a direct conversation with a Facebook representative to resolve this confusion.

My stepdaughter, Ellica S., passed away on August 9, [redacted]. She had two Facebook accounts, and unfortunately, access to one is lost. The account that Facebook turned into her memorial page doesn't allow comments, and all her friends are on the other account. Her mother deleted everything from the account where all her friends, siblings, and important memories are stored. We are hoping to have the content restored on the account with her photos and videos, so we can cherish her memory and communicate with her friends. Obtaining the death certificate took time, as her mom initially didn't provide a copy. We're puzzled as to how her mom accessed and deleted the account, as Ellica wouldn't have willingly shared her password. Please help us restore the account so we can find comfort in remembering Ellica.

Hello, my name is Ivana Booher, and that has been my Facebook account for a long time. I recently got a new phone and tried to update my cell phone number and email on my account. However, I can't access my original email that was hacked into when I first started Facebook. I now use the email [redacted] and tried to log in with my new cell phone number but it said it was being used on another account. After changing the password, I found out that my ex's name, Jimmy Hookey or James Hookey, is linked to my information on Facebook. I am locked out of my account and need help to regain access. I can still receive messages on the Messenger app on my old phone. Please assist me in recovering my account, as I have had it since [redacted], and it holds many memories and photos. Thank you, Ivana Booher. My cell phone number linked to my account is [redacted].
