A couple of nights ago, while using Facebook on my phone, I accidentally fell asleep. When I tried to log back in 3 hours later, I couldn't remember my password as I'm usually always logged in. Upon attempting to reset my password, I realized that I didn't have access to any of the phone numbers associated with my account, but I do have a confirmed email which is [redacted] However, when I tried to use my email to reset the password, it couldn't locate my account. I then input my full name, and my profile appeared. I opted to have my trusted contacts send me a verification code multiple times, but even after completing the steps, I did not receive any emails within 30 minutes. I have checked my inbox and spam folder to no avail. Although I am willing to submit my ID or any other required documents to regain access to my account, I urgently need it resolved as it's impacting my business operations significantly.

I need help with deleting a link on Facebook Marketplace. I replied to an item that was sold to someone else, and I want to clear my conversations with such sellers. The seller, identified as Mr. Samy Elias, removed me from the conversation, making it difficult for me to remove the chat myself using the flower-shaped delete icon. I've attempted to restart the conversation with Mr. Elias to regain access to the delete function, but I received an error message saying, "You cannot perform that action." I simply want to tidy up my messages and remove unnecessary clutter. If Mr. Elias could just reply with a single word, it may trigger the appearance of the delete icon again.

I am experiencing issues with the two-factor authentication on Facebook. Recently, I attempted to log in after a period of inactivity but never received the authentication code on my mobile phone despite multiple tries. Even when using the Facebook App on my phone while visiting family, the same issue occurred - no login code received. Interestingly, logging in through my Google account did not prompt for a password. Today, logging in on my home desktop presented the same problem of not receiving the login code on my mobile phone, although I could login using Google. My mobile number is correct in the authentication settings, yet I'm still not getting the login code. Any assistance would be appreciated. - D. Urick

There is a troublesome extended family member who keeps making new accounts or finding a way through mutual connections to copy, alter, and share my posts as if they were her own. I have taken steps like adjusting privacy settings, blocking her, changing my profile details, but she persists in infiltrating. Her actions are having a negative impact on my marriage and business connections. I need advice on how to prevent her from causing further harm.

I am curious about your political stance regarding a candidate in the EU elections in Britain, especially since you are an American company. It seems unnecessary for you to intervene in British politics, even if Nick Clegg is affiliated with your company. It is concerning that you chose to deplatform Tommy Robinson based on his statements. Could you provide examples of what he said that contradicts your guidelines? It's crucial to distinguish between hate speech and reporting crimes like the sexual abuse of minors. The issue of grooming gangs and child abuse is significant in the UK, and it's important for you to consider the context before taking action. The decision to silence someone who sheds light on such crimes while allowing perpetrators to continue is distressing.

I received a temporary ban for sharing artistic photos of the First Lady, Melania Trump. The images do not contain nudity and are not offensive. Melania used similar photos to support her visa application, showing their artistic value. It seems unfair that I was banned for sharing images that Melania herself used for official purposes. If her public appearances showing more skin do not violate the terms of service, then banning me for posting photos she posed for seems like discrimination.

Hello Facebook community, I am Dimitri Sofianos from Johannesburg, South Africa. Recently, I have been receiving Facebook confirmation codes on my cellphone for accounts that do not belong to me. Curious about this issue, I logged out of my profile and searched for profiles using my South African cell phone number: [redacted]. The search yielded my correct profile but also displayed three other Facebook profiles that I do not recognize: Mila Mande Mimi, Simon James, and Jack Dale. I kindly request assistance from Facebook in resolving this matter, particularly in removing my private cell phone number from those unidentified accounts. I am concerned that my Facebook profile may have been compromised or is at risk of being hacked. Thank you for your attention to this issue. Warm regards, Dimitri Sofianos

I believe it's unreasonable that Facebook users can't create a role-playing account. Not every extra account is up to criminal activity. Many adults enjoy online role-playing. Facebook should allow a verification process for established users creating role-playing accounts to confirm age and authenticity. Role players could be required to label their profile as a role-playing or parody account only. Restrictions could be placed on role-playing real celebrities or public figures but allow for fictional character portrayals. It's simple to implement such changes and unfair to legal adults interested in harmless role-playing on Facebook.

We have a business Facebook account that now requires two-factor verification. Due to issues with our computer and phones, the devices linked to the verification have been replaced, leaving us unable to log in. We have our passwords and phone numbers ready, but can't proceed past the two-factor step. We want to either bypass or disable this feature temporarily so we can access our profile. We're unable to respond to people interacting on our account due to this issue. Despite reaching out to Facebook, we only receive automated responses closing the ticket, even when we follow up stating the problem persists. The FAQ doesn't cover two-factor verification issues, focusing mainly on usernames and passwords. We are willing to provide any necessary information to verify our identity. We seek assistance in resolving this matter. Thank you, Judy B. Office Manager Fresno Rifle and Pistol Club Work: [redacted] Cell: [redacted]

On Friday, August 9th, I logged into my Facebook account without any issues. I checked some posts, liked a few, and then carried on with my day. However, in the afternoon, my account was suddenly disabled with no warning. The only explanation I received was that I am now ineligible for a Facebook account, citing their statement of rights and responsibilities. I reached out to the support center immediately to address the mistake. After waiting for two days with no response, I contacted them again seeking an update and details on the situation. Unfortunately, I received the same response stating I was deemed ineligible with a final decision. This led not only to the deactivation of my personal and business Facebook pages but also my Instagram account. Despite trying to contact Facebook via Twitter and email, I have yet to receive any meaningful responses or explanations.

Our business Facebook account faces an issue with two-factor verification due to replacing all devices previously set up. We can't proceed past the verification during login, although we have the necessary passwords and phone numbers. Despite reaching out through various Facebook channels, the automated responses do not resolve the problem. Navigating FAQ sections doesn't address our specific concern. We are unable to respond to inquiries on the account, hindering our business operations. To resolve this, we seek a method to bypass or disable two-factor verification temporarily to regain access. We are willing to provide all required details to prove ownership of the account. Assistance in addressing this matter promptly would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. - Judy B., Office Manager at Fresno Rifle and Pistol Club

Confirmation Identity Issue: While riding a jeepney, I encountered a confirmation identity problem that needs your urgent attention. The issue stems from my former phone number appearing as my current mobile number despite updating it two months prior. This discrepancy is hindering me from verifying my identity using my Gmail and current phone number. To rectify the situation, I kindly request the removal of the phone number +[redacted]50 and the inclusion of my actual current number +[redacted]02. This adjustment will facilitate a seamless identity confirmation process. Feel free to contact me for authentication. Three accounts are linked to my current number: "Rebellious Heartstrings," my initial account, "Yaj Daz," which was deactivated by Facebook, and "Yajia Daz," a recently created profile. My full name is Jaylene Rose L. Daz, yet I prefer to be addressed as "Yaj" instead of "Jaylene Rose." Please recover my Yaj Daz account by deleting Yajia Daz. Your assistance in this matter is greatly appreciated. Best regards, Yaj Daz/ Jaylene Rose L. Daz

To whom it may concern, We are a nonprofit corporation ([redacted][c][3]) that relies on Facebook for promoting and distributing the films we create. Recently, starting from August 4, [redacted], our Facebook pages, The John 10:10 Project and Illustra Media, have been blocked, and significant content has been removed without clear explanations other than vague "violation of community standards" notices. We are puzzled about the standards we have violated and when this block will be lifted. We regularly post videos on our pages and engage with our supporters, so this block greatly affects our ability to communicate. We have also noticed that any posts with links to our website (theJohn1010Project.com) are automatically blocked, causing further limitations. Additionally, numerous previously posted short films have been deleted, affecting the availability and historical data on both pages. Our followers are confused about accessing our content as well. Your swift assistance in resolving these issues is crucial to us, as we value our relationship with Facebook and rely on it for promoting our films. We are eager for your prompt response. Thank you for your attention. Lad Allen Producer/Director The John 10:10 Project & Illustra Media

I am facing an issue with Facebook as they are asking me to confirm my identity by sending a code to my old phone number that I have already removed. I am unable to retrieve the code as I no longer have access to the former phone number. I had a previous account under the name Enelyaj Daz which was suspended due to a report of impersonation by someone named Zoe back in Nov. [redacted]. I am now using the name Yaj Daz for my new account, but this account has also been taken down. I am unable to provide IDs as I use a different name online for privacy reasons. I would appreciate any assistance in resolving this matter.

Hello, I am experiencing an issue with updating my email address on my Facebook account. The current email associated with my account, "[redacted]", is no longer active, making it challenging for other Facebook users to contact me. I attempted to change it to "[redacted]", but it seems that someone else had already used that email address. After chatting with a Facebook representative, I learned that the Gmail address was inactive on that Facebook account. I am puzzled as to how my Gmail could have been linked to another user's account without my knowledge. I have been using the Gmail address for several years. I need assistance in linking my Gmail address to my Facebook account for communication purposes. I have been a Facebook user since [redacted]. Thank you, Martyn B.

I used Facebook in its early stages, however, in recent years, I've been unable to access the internet due to a busy work schedule. I'm interested in checking if any of my previous activity on Facebook can be recovered or if it's best to start anew. I used the name "Milton Curry," full name "James Milton Curry," but prefer to go by "Milton." Additional identifying information: born on 09/13/[redacted], attended South Cobb High School in Georgia, and have degrees from Georgia Tech and UCLA. I likely resided in Georgia during my Facebook usage, but it's uncertain due to relocating across various states. Seeking advice on the most effective way to restart on Facebook. I left my computer for a bit and returned to a file creation message that has been ongoing for an extended period. How can I confirm if the file creation is still progressing or has encountered an issue?

I am currently facing two separate issues with my personal and business Facebook pages. On my personal page, I am unable to go live as I keep receiving an error message across all devices and internet connections prompting me to check my internet connection. Regarding my business page, I am encountering a request for Identity Confirmation. This verification process seems to be automated with no option to speak to a live representative. Over time, this page has evolved from a user account to a fan page and now to a business page due to various updates and changes implemented by Facebook. Unlike my personal account, the business page has its unique login and does not provide the option to add another name. Notably, members Nick J. and Brian H. are currently listed on the page. I am eager to utilize the marketing tools and start boosting posts, as well as purchase ads on the platform. Your assistance in resolving these issues promptly will be greatly appreciated.

I recently lost my phone, but managed to transfer my number to a new device today. I believe someone found my lost phone and accessed my Facebook account, resulting in its recent disablement due to inappropriate content. I want to clarify that I was not the one using my Facebook account during that time as my phone was missing and someone else had unauthorized access. I am unsure if my account has been disabled permanently or temporarily. If permanently, I would like to know if there is any way to recover my account or at least retrieve my friend list to create a new account. As I rely on Facebook for business purposes, this situation has become urgent for me. I have maintained a Facebook account for 12 years without any issues until now, due to this unfortunate incident of losing my phone.
