I am currently unable to post on Facebook for a week due to a previous post I made in March of a historical figure. Even though I was already punished for a similar offense in April, I am now facing consequences for this older violation. I believe this violates the Ex Post Facto clause as it feels like I am being punished twice for the same offense. Facebook's lack of an appeal process is frustrating, especially when past actions are being penalized. My post was a picture of Adolph Eichmann, possibly in response to a comment about Stephen Miller. While I understand the sensitivity around Eichmann, simply sharing a picture of him without any supporting comment should not breach Community Standards. The inconsistency in Facebook's enforcement is evident, and I feel my freedom of speech is being restricted by biased Republican censors on the platform.

About two weeks ago, I was unexpectedly logged out of my Facebook account because the system claimed my password was changed six hours prior, which I didn't do. While attempting to reset my password, I realized that the email address associated with my account from when I first joined Facebook is no longer active. Following the steps to recover my password, I was asked to verify my identity by submitting images of the front and back of my driver's license along with my current email address. I managed to confirm my identity with the email confirming the update of my current email on the account, allowing me to reset my password via a provided link. However, after trying to create a new password and encountering an error message stating I was attempting too frequently, I waited 24 and 72 hours without success. I'm seeking assistance to resolve this issue promptly.

I recently set up my Facebook on June 17. However, on July 6, I had to reset my password. Last night, while trying to access Marketplace, I accidentally clicked "Log out" instead of "Settings" without a confirmation prompt, and now I can't log back in. I realized I never associated an email with my account, only my phone number. When I try to reset the password, it says there's no account linked to my phone number. I've tried various ways to regain access, but I'm stuck. Messenger is still working as it was logged in through Facebook. I need help resolving this issue.

Hello, I am experiencing issues with my Facebook account being locked due to a security concern (phishing). I am eager to resolve this matter promptly, as it has been ongoing for six days, and I am unable to access my ads and account. I would appreciate assistance verifying my identity as the account owner. I am prepared to provide identification documents, if needed. Despite completing verification steps such as identifying friends, comments, and my birthdate, my account remains inaccessible. Furthermore, I am curious as to why Facebook frequently prompts me to verify my identity. The last time I completed this verification, my account was locked. Any guidance on this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your assistance with this issue.

I am extremely frustrated because my friend's account was hacked. Yesterday, the thief attempted to log in, and I received multiple SMS alerts notifying me of these suspicious activities. Despite our efforts to intervene using the codes sent to us, the hacker eventually gained access to the account, changed the password, and seems to have disabled it now. We have exhausted all options, including the "forgot password" feature, but have been unsuccessful in recovering the account. This account holds crucial work-related and personal information that we need access to. We are willing to provide any necessary proof to verify our ownership of the account. We have been struggling for hours to find a resolution and are urgently seeking guidance from you. Please reach out to me at [redacted] The phone number we used to log in to Facebook is +[redacted]05. Thank you for your help.

My account was hacked, and the hacker changed my email, password, and phone number, making it impossible for me to recover it. Facebook couldn't even recognize my email. The account has been deleted now. I had 8 years' worth of photos, messages, and important information, including memories of deceased friends, a business page, and a support group I manage. I can provide all the original information to restore it. Despite emailing Facebook about the issue, I never received a response or help before the account was deleted. I have created a new account, but I really want my old one back. Please, I need assistance. Thank you. - Michele G.

Hello, I am experiencing repeated issues creating and maintaining a Facebook account. Each time I set one up using either my original email or a new one, Facebook requests a clear picture of my face for verification. Despite complying, my accounts are continuously closed. Most recently, I attempted to create an account using only my mobile number, and after adding my family and friends, the account was temporarily closed due to the same photo request. This has caused confusion and frustration among my friends who question the frequent account changes. I am seeking assistance to understand why this keeps happening and to potentially recover my last account. The recurring closures and need to create new accounts are distressing and embarrassing.

Recently, I discovered that my Facebook account, "[redacted]," has been compromised as the password was changed without my consent. Despite my attempts to regain access by following Facebook's recommended steps, I have been unsuccessful. Unfortunately, the phone number linked to the account is no longer recognized. The reset code is being sent to an old Yahoo account that I can't access anymore. I have also tried to update my contact information for account recovery purposes but find myself stuck in a loop, constantly redirected to the login page. I would greatly appreciate any assistance you can provide in helping me recover my account. Thank you.

I believe my Facebook account, "[redacted]," has been hacked. The password was changed abruptly, and now I can't access my account. Even though I had my phone number linked to the account, Facebook no longer recognizes it as verified. I suspect the hacker did this to prevent me from regaining access. I followed the steps from Facebook's help center, but couldn't reset the password. They suggested sending a reset code to my old Yahoo account, "[redacted]," but I no longer have access to it. I also tried adding a new email or phone number for recovery messages, but it keeps looping back to the login page. I'm stuck in this cycle and would appreciate your assistance soon.

I recently received an email informing me of a change to my primary email, followed by another email indicating that my account might be accessed by someone else. When I attempt to address this by following the provided link, I am asked to confirm my account through either identifying photos of friends or confirming on another device. However, both options lead to dead ends. If I try to delete the suspicious email as instructed, I receive an error message prompting me to choose a different option. When I opt to add a new email, I receive a confirmation email, but upon clicking the link, I am redirected to a Facebook login page which I cannot access due to the hacker altering my login credentials. As a result, I am stuck without the ability to reset my password. How can I reclaim access to my account?

I need help to regain access to my Facebook account after losing it a year and a half ago. I forgot my password and the recovery options were not working due to changes in my phone number and email. Recently, I gained access to my old email address, which helped me partially recover my Facebook account. However, to complete the process, Facebook requested an OTP sent to my old number, which is now assigned to someone else. My only other option is to upload a photo ID, but there's a slight name discrepancy between my Facebook name ("saumit gautam") and my ID name ("saumitra Gautam"). This issue is preventing me from accessing my account and my childhood memories tied to it. I hope to resolve this to avoid creating a new account and also regain access to my Instagram account, which is also affected. Your assistance in resolving this would be greatly appreciated.

I encountered an issue while trying to download a video from Facebook using Freemake Video Converter. Freemake prompted me to log into Facebook, but after I did, I received a notification that I couldn't proceed due to suspicious activity on my account. Subsequently, when I tried to log in again, I was informed that my account was temporarily locked for security reasons. Despite following the steps provided, such as changing my password and entering a security code, I remain unable to access my account due to an error message stating, "Sorry, this feature isn't available right now." This loop has persisted for several days, and I am seeking assistance to resolve this ongoing problem.

I was sitting on the couch when I received a message from a girl informing me that my account had been hacked. Upon checking, I noticed that my page had posted about my 12-year-old little sister being missing, which is not true and was not posted by me. Unfortunately, I cannot log in using my old password anymore. I removed an unused email while logged in since the account linked to it was deleted years ago. My backup email is the same, and my old phone number has changed. I am worried about potential unauthorized posts and access to my emails, accounts, and passwords. I still have access to my new email and eagerly await your prompt response.

My other account was compromised two years ago, and I recently regained access after the password was changed without my knowledge. Despite resetting the password, I received an email from Facebook stating a login attempt with a code that I didn't request. When I changed the password again, I got locked out and can only regain access through trusted contacts or by providing an ID. Unfortunately, the ID verification failed as the account is not in my legal name, and the listed trusted contacts were unable to assist with recovery codes. I cannot recall setting these individuals as trusted contacts and am unsure how to proceed with unlocking the account and regaining control.

I lost access to my original Facebook account, LizAseltine, after losing my phone and someone else started using it. Subsequently, I created a new account, lizbethaseltine, on a Lifeline phone that was faulty and later disabled. After obtaining a third replacement phone, I created another new account, aseltineliz, but have also been locked out of it. I am facing challenges with remembering passwords and accessing associated email accounts. I would appreciate assistance in restoring my original account, as I have encountered difficulties navigating through the multiple new accounts I had to create. Your help in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Unable to access my Facebook account. I have been trying for over six years to disable or close my account, but I still receive emails from Facebook. I cannot access my account to delete or disable it, and I am tired of the numerous emails I receive. Please close my account. I am fed up with all the emails from Facebook. I may have to close my email account to stop the emails from Facebook. If anything happens to me, how would anyone close my Facebook account?

I recently got a new phone, and when I handed down my old phone to my son, he logged me out of Facebook to use his own account. Despite installing the FB app on my new phone, I couldn't log in as it kept saying my password was wrong. During the password reset process, the code was being sent to my old number, which I haven't had for four years. Even when I selected my current number, I didn't receive any code. Trying to have the code sent to my email also didn't work. After many attempts to reset, I still couldn't access my account. I even created a new email but still couldn't receive the code. Trying to create a new FB account also failed as it didn't accept my valid phone number. I'm distressed as my Facebook page holds sentimental value and memories of my late husband. I really need help with this issue.

I attempted to inform Facebook that my post did not contain any sexual content or nudity, but despite my efforts, they still suspended my account for 7 days. It seems that reaching out to them is futile as they do not seem willing to engage with users. Their unhelpful attitude of dismissing account holders and assuming their decisions are faultless is unprofessional and ineffective in resolving issues amicably. Without a willingness to listen, Facebook's support system is inadequate and frustrating to deal with.

My account was compromised by someone named Larry Peters, who caused trouble on my Facebook, Messenger, and Instagram. I believed I had resolved it until Larry called me this morning accusing me of affecting him. I barely know this person; I only hired him for a TV delivery. When I check my Facebook on my iPhone X, his picture appears in the middle alongside mine with a provocative image, but not revealing any private body parts. I don't have his email but here is his phone number: [redacted].
