The issue in GetHuman-bigpeteh's own words
I received a pop up on my Facebook page when I was logging back in telling me I had to subscribe to the new updates Facebook had developed. I could not get rid of this message to go to my Facebook page? No "do it later" nothing so I get up and pressed "Continue". When I kust went back into my account five minutes ago it had been wiped and I was confronted with a new Facebook page, no friends, no posts, no history, no photos, no site saved, no messenger chats, nothing? Years of Facebook data gone!!
GetHuman-bigpeteh did not yet indicate what Facebook should do to make this right.
I have an issue with Facebook too
How GetHuman-bigpeteh fixed the problem
After I approved the updates as I said a brand new Facebook page appeared for me with nothing remaining from the page I have had for years. I spent a lot of time trying to find out what happened, then just gave up. During this time I did not look at my Facebook on my phone and when I did discovered that my original page was getting posts on my original page? I checked my emails and discovered posts that I had not opened and opened a post and it took me straight into my original page. In short I have no idea why Facebook created a new page for me after accepting updates? I can't decide however whether I should delete the redundant new page as it comes up with my name and my my photo in case it affects my original Facebook page. Getting help from Facebook is fruitless they have absolved all responsibility for their system. Hopeless!
