I was trying to link to my website, both on my Facebook page and on my personal account. I presently use a URL short-link redirect to get around this problem. ... I run gloryosky.ca. I'm blocked from posting anything related to that site as it violates Community Standards. The problem is, I don't know why I'm blocked and I've contacted Facebook support to resolve this numerous times without success. The website talks about Canadian television and media. I can't even run the website address through the debugger as it triggers the Community Standards violation there.**All I want to do is get the website white-listed. If Facebook could help me as it recently did with the domain*placeholder case, I would appreciate it. If the website posted spam before it was blocked, I've taken steps to make sure it complies with Facebook's current Community Standards policy.**I don't want to leave the platform, yet if this issue persists, I plan to take my business elsewhere. I hope to hear from Facebook soon on this matter.
I've contributed to Canadian Screenwriter for years, and have contacts with Canadian and foreign media businesses.
For the length of time gloryosky.ca was blocked, in addition to unblocking the website, I would accept a goodwill token of Facebook's choosing to cure this problem. This problem should have been resolved months ago.
I've had a Facebook account for more than a decade, and my Facebook page as currently exists has been around for half a decade. The Gloryosky page itself has no Community Standards violations.
I've contacted the press e-mail, many Facebook Canada publicists, and have done everything short of going through the help community forums as I don't want to have to go through a public forum.
