I have been attempting to reset my password after buying a new phone. My Facebook account did not transfer over, so I downloaded the app. Since I had been continuously logged in for years, I forgot my password. I provided my phone number to sign up, but despite trying around 40 times, I did not receive the verification code via text. My messaging services are working fine, and only Facebook is having trouble sending me texts. I also tried the account recovery option by providing my email but was asked for a photo of my driver's license in a reply email. It has been a week, and there has been no update. I need to resolve this before Easter for upcoming family pictures. I hope to receive a code to my email soon to regain access to my account and reset my password. Thank you for your assistance in addressing this issue. Cheryl V. Email: [redacted]

Hello Facebook, I, Cindy McCLELLAND, am contacting you regarding an issue with my email address being linked to another individual, Cherri McCLELLAND's account. I am receiving her emails and need this corrected. Shaw has confirmed that [redacted] belongs to me, not Cherri. Cherri also has my email associated with DressLily on Facebook, causing me to receive her order emails. This needs to be rectified as well. I have attempted to attach the emails for reference, but I am unable to do so. Please advise on how I can forward the necessary correspondence. The email I refer to was sent on March 25, [redacted], at 6:29 pm by the Facebook ads team. I am eager for a prompt resolution to this matter and would appreciate speaking with a supervisor. Thank you for your assistance. Cindy McCLELLAND [redacted]

I have recently been denied access to Facebook Marketplace for requesting a review of my items. One of my listings has been pending a response for 6 months. I follow all the policies and regulations and haven't received any complaints about my products or conduct. I love using this platform and usually have a response time of an hour. However, now my account is under review for up to 7 days. I tried contacting the [redacted] number without success, and the online help option requires me to pay $5, which is confusing. I always post genuine products from reputable brands. Despite that, I notice other users listing the same brands without issues. Can someone clarify if I shouldn't mention the brand name? I'm eager to comply with any requirements to regain access promptly. Thank you for your assistance.

Since my father passed away almost four years ago, I have had little contact with his mother. Despite her lack of involvement in my life before his death, she managed to take all his possessions without giving me my belongings. Recently, she even used a photo of me as her profile picture on social media, although we are not connected online. I want to ensure that she cannot view my posts or updates. It seems she may have seen my content through her daughter, son, and daughter-in-law, who are my friends. I kindly ask for help in adjusting my privacy settings so that only my direct friends can see my updates. Thank you for your assistance. Best, Ashley

A few weeks ago, I received a message while attempting to log into Facebook about someone trying to access my account from an unfamiliar location. I reset my password using a code sent via text message. The following day, I tried to log in again, but it wouldn't accept the new password I had set. Now, when I attempt to reset the password, the only option provided is to receive the code via an old email address I can no longer access. While my account still shows up with my phone number, I am not receiving any text messages with the reset code. I just want to regain access to my account. My friends have checked my account for any suspicious activity and found none. This situation makes me think that my account may not have been fully compromised, but I am unable to log in. Please assist me with this issue.

My Facebook account was hacked, and the password and email were changed by the hacker. Unfortunately, I couldn't recover it as they also changed the email address associated with the account. It seems to have disappeared entirely now. I submitted a copy of my ID when reporting the hack but haven't received any updates in almost three weeks. The email linked to my Facebook was [redacted] I believe the phone number associated with the account was [redacted]. You can reach me via email or call me at [redacted] or [redacted]. I still have access to the landline that was connected to my Facebook. The hacker even compromised my Google and PayPal accounts. I'm concerned about losing all the memories, friendships, photos, and important moments stored on my account, especially after the loss of my mom and husband in [redacted]. I appreciate any assistance you can provide.

Hello, I am currently locked out of my Facebook account! I deactivated it around 2 years ago and now I am trying to return. Facebook is requesting that I confirm my identity; however, it is only offering the option to contact old friends, which I am unable to do as I no longer wish to connect with them. I still have access to the email linked to my Facebook account, as well as my phone number, birthday, and the names of some friends. I am prepared to provide my ID card if necessary to verify my identity. Please assist me in unlocking my Facebook account or provide alternative methods for confirming my identity. Every time I select 'Continue Confirm Identity Another Way,' it redirects me back to the friends option. Facebook account: [redacted]

I suspect my account was hacked on Saturday. I initially believed the person was my high school teacher, but upon following the link recommended, it became clear it was a hack. The individual falsely claimed to be my teacher and mentioned seeing my name on a grant eligibility list. When I realized it was a scam, I stopped communicating. It seems this person might have accessed my Facebook account since the next day it was disabled. I did not engage in any wrongdoing, but I suspect the hacker tampered with my account out of frustration when I ceased contact. I repeatedly asked about the grant details, but they insisted on obtaining my information. They possibly only had my name, unsure of what else. I am eager to regain access to my Facebook to connect with my friends and two support groups, one for bipolar disorder and the other for Parkinsonism, as I have recently been diagnosed. Due to mobility issues, being online is my main form of communication. My daughter, Amy D., has tried to appeal the account's deactivation without success. I desperately need to reconnect with my support groups. Please assist me in restoring my access to Facebook so I can engage with those who provide invaluable support. Thank you. Judy W.

Hello, I am currently experiencing issues accessing my Facebook account for over a day now. Despite trying to log in using both my original password and the reset password provided, I keep receiving error messages indicating they are incorrect. My Facebook account is under the name Attiazios Badisa, and I have noted down both my original password as "disa28badi74" and the reset password as "[redacted]" for easy reference. I am based in a semi village in Namibia with limited internet connectivity, which adds to the challenge. My primary contact number is +[redacted]00, and I rely on Facebook for communication and work opportunities. Unfortunately, the reset codes provided are not effective, and even when using my registered phone number for verification, the system fails to recognize it. This ongoing issue is causing significant inconvenience and financial strain as I spend $[redacted] on data just to resolve this problem. Your assistance in resolving this matter promptly would be greatly appreciated.

I have been experiencing ongoing challenges with a moderator on Facebook Marketplace who keeps rejecting my mineral and fossil listings. Despite being a licensed seller in Pennsylvania, my items are consistently flagged by this individual or group, affecting my ability to conduct business. I have received threats via Messenger from one of these individuals, resulting in the only negative review on my Marketplace profile. This incident has led to continuous rejections of my listings, ultimately impacting my business and livelihood. I am considering reaching out to the Attorney General's Office in Pennsylvania to address this issue. The fear of potential harm or intimidation tactics from these individuals is alarming and unacceptable. It is crucial to address this situation promptly for the safety and well-being of myself and other sellers in similar situations on Facebook Marketplace. Thank you. Chris H.

I was in the middle of a conversation when I was abruptly disconnected. A friend from my list, Robert Puglisi, mentioned a sweepstakes which I started to follow through. However, as soon as they asked for money, I became suspicious. Another person suggested it might be a scam. To verify if I was speaking with the real Robert, I asked about his father's name via messenger. Strangely, after this, my Facebook account had issues. It became inaccessible, and a different name appeared in place of mine. I have screenshots of this and the other person's account. I am unsure how to share them. I am eager to have my Nana Lanie Facebook account reinstated as it is linked to everything important to me, including my games and businesses, such as Last, Let Stars, PurpleOrbital, Eccentric Empire, and many others.

Last week, I was surprised when I attempted to log into Facebook and was prompted with a sign-in page displaying my picture instead of being continuously logged in. I tried my usual password, but it was rejected as an old password, although I never changed it. After trying various recent passwords without success, Facebook offered to send a code to an outdated email address. To change it, they requested a photo ID for verification. I uploaded my driver's license as advised online, but when I received the password reset link, it failed to work. Frustrated, I entered a new password expecting a verification field that never appeared. Upon clicking next, I was notified of trying too frequently. After waiting three days and attempting again, the same process repeated, requiring the upload of my ID. The reset link in my email led me to set a new password, followed by the same error message for trying too often. I am baffled by the lack of access to customer support without being logged in and concerned about my exposed ID. The difficulty in regaining account access is frustrating; I wonder if this experience is a Facebook scam or a technical glitch. The absence of functional customer service channels adds to my distress. I urgently seek assistance to resolve this predicament. Thank you. - S. B.

My phone was recently scanned by an Internet Crimes Unit. I bought the phone brand new just three weeks before it was confiscated. Currently, I am on parole, and part of the conditions is that I cannot access Facebook. I have never used Facebook on the phone in question or any other device. The Internet Crimes Unit claims there are 20 "embedded" files related to Facebook on my phone. I had even removed Facebook Messenger when I got the phone. The device in question is a Samsung Galaxy J7 (3rd generation - [redacted] model) with Verizon service. I am really concerned about how these Facebook embedded files ended up on my phone, especially since I have never used Facebook on it. This issue may not seem significant to some, but it could have serious consequences for me. I urgently need to understand how this happened before it causes any problems for me.

I received a message on my Facebook account alerting me that someone tried to access it from Jordan. Consequently, my account was temporarily suspended. The issue is that the account was created with an old email address, [redacted], to which I no longer have access. Despite my efforts to recover the account through Microsoft, I have been unsuccessful. I am currently locked out of my account, although I am certain of my password, which is not being recognized. This makes me believe that my password has been changed. I urgently need to regain access to my Facebook account, especially as it is linked to a music page. Regards, Tanika T., Facebook username Tan Tan Tull.

I am experiencing issues with my INSTAGRAM account @helenayashini. Recently, my feed only displays a “Welcome to Instagram” message and suggests friends I already follow. It shows that I am following no one (0 following), leading to their posts and stories not appearing in my feed. When I visit my friends' profiles, it indicates that I am not following them or prompts me to “follow back” due to their private accounts. After refreshing multiple times, it eventually shows the correct number of people I am following ([redacted]), yet not all posts appear in my feed. This problem started around Monday at 6 pm Malaysian time and persists. I have attempted various troubleshooting steps, such as turning off my iPhone 7, logging out and in, as well as reinstalling the app, but to no avail. Thank you for any assistance you can provide.

I received a notification recently informing me that my Facebook account was temporarily locked due to a hacking incident. According to the notification, someone logged in from a PS4 in Norfolk, Va., which is not me as I reside in Pa. I attempted to recover my account but cannot recall my current password. After trying to get a reset code via email, I realized I no longer have access to that email account or the mobile number associated with it. This has left me unable to receive the reset code. I am worried about not being able to access important photos from my deployment and losing contact with family members through Messenger. Any help solving this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I am a security professional facing considerable stress due to an incorrect post on the Facebook group "Hikoi of a Poison Nation" with our company name. The post was made on April 15th at 2:06 am New Zealand time. I urgently require the removal of this post and seek a more efficient way to report and eliminate objectionable content. Additionally, there are other illegally obtained photos on Facebook endangering my staff's safety both professionally and personally, resulting in unwelcome visits to our families. Kindly reach out to me at [redacted]. I would greatly appreciate guidance on resolving these issues promptly. Thank you, RJ from Otautahi Protection Services

I recently encountered a phishing attack on my personal computer through my Outlook web portal. Subsequently, I performed a factory reset on my device. As I only use my Facebook account on this computer, my main objective was to change my password and email associated with my account. Following Facebook's instructions, I attempted to receive an SMS code, but none was sent, leading to a timeout. I then utilized an email code, which was successful. However, to proceed, I am now required to complete an identity verification challenge through identifying friends. Given that I cannot log in from another device, I must rely on this friends challenge as the SMS option no longer works due to timing out. Despite verifying the phone numbers of my listed family members, the process remains unsuccessful. I have exhausted all suggested recovery options from Facebook, and my account is currently inaccessible to me. I am seeking guidance on how to successfully recover my account.

I need assistance restoring my Facebook account. It seems to have disappeared after being hacked. The hacker altered my email address and phone number, subsequently deactivating my account. The situation has made it impossible for me to initiate any recovery options. Please assist me in resolving this issue. My original email address was [redacted] before it was changed. I can still be reached at the same email. The phone number listed on my account [redacted] is not my current one; my correct landline number is [redacted]. I have already filled this out and I am waiting to see if you can help me. My Facebook account was hacked. I was removed from Facebook, but I didn't do anything. I believed an old high school teacher and Sunday school teacher was trying to help me. I received a message that I thought was from him, informing me that he had received grant money and saw my name on a list. He sent me instructions on how to contact the site. When I reached out, it felt suspicious. I requested more details, but they refused to provide any. I stopped messaging them. They continued asking if I was there, but I didn't respond. The next day, I discovered I was removed from Facebook. I suspect the scammer impersonated me to get me kicked off. I rely on Facebook to communicate with friends and participate in my support groups for bipolar disorder and Parkinsonism. I am struggling due to my health conditions and feel isolated without access to Facebook. I hope to regain access soon. Thank you for your assistance. Judy W.
