My mother cannot close her FB accounts. On this page, I see a green checkmark next to the word Fixed, but my issue is NOT FIXED, and I have no way to get rid of that green check mark!

The issue in GetHuman-drnanner's own words
I was trying to close my mother's most recently created Facebook account. ... My mother is ** and has dementia. Through the years she opened * Facebook accounts. Last Fall, with her, we logged into the only FB account I could find a password for. I wrote a message to people saying I would close that FB account in ****, and to write me at my email if they wanted updates on my mom. In ****, (again, with my mother), we tried to log in to close the account, and FB had locked the account and wanted proof of ID. I scanned and uploaded my mother's Wisconsin State ID which is also a voter ID. I got an email back stating that this was not an accepted form of ID and a link for "help" that listed both Voter ID and State issued ID as valid forms of ID. I tried replying to the email, but it went into a black hole. Several more emails from FB, with at least * attempts on my part to reply. I am extremely frustrated that there is no way to directly speak to a FB representative. I can only do this during times when I bring my mother to my home. If I could schedule a phone call, I would be happy to have her present. Otherwise, if I had a snail mail address I could draft a letter with all the relevant information that my mother and I can come up with and she can sign it. I know the two email addresses my mother would have used, and have the password to the account she used most recently.
It is rare that I feel completely devalued as a customer - Facebook is the second company in my lifetime to make me feel completely worthless to them. Facebook's arrogance blows me away. I get that we who have FB accounts are really their product and not their customer, but we are living products. I can't imagine a zoo or a pet store or a park ignoring distress in its' living products. Additionally, through their "helpful" emails they have continually disagreed with their own Help pages.
I want either a scheduled phone call (so I can have my mother present) OR a named Facebook employee to correspond with by snail mail, so I can submit the relevant information with my mother.
I'm not a customer - I'm a product. I'm not a particularly good product because I never use Facebook.
I tried following the Facebook guidelines and was rebuffed.
