I recently purchased a Samsung Galaxy A*. I installed Facebook and for a couple of days, it seemed to work fine. Previously had Facebook on my On*, never had problems except lack of memory, hence the new phone. The problems that I'm having is with the notifications (sorry, I'm not a technical geek). I'm calling notifications the area where you can see where people have reacted to one of your posts or a post you are following. This just began a day or two ago. I was unable to view all but the first ten or so notifications, so last night I first tried shutting my phone off for a couple of minutes and when that didn't work, I uninstalled and reinstalled Facebook. Now, even though I have seen notifications from just an hour ago on my computer, I am only able to see notifications more than eight hours old on my phone. Also, I used to be able to see that I had notifications and*or messages on the Facebook icon when I first turned on the phone or refreshed it. Now......nothing. I would appreciate any insight on how to correct this, but, please come down to explaining in very simple terms. Thank you in advance.
