Hello, I'm reaching out on behalf of my elderly father, as his Facebook account (Lieu Nguyen) has been hacked and stolen. He attempted to recover it, but encountered issues along the way. To check if his original account was in use, he created another account and unfortunately confirmed the activity on his hacked account. Subsequently, he created two more new Facebook accounts using the same phone number. When trying to report the hacked account or recover it through Facebook, only the new accounts are showing up. He has since deactivated both new accounts, but this will only take effect after 30 days. In the meantime, the hackers are using his original account to scam money from his contacts. He simply wants to reclaim his identity, or at the very least, deactivate the compromised account to prevent further unlawful use. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
