I attempted to log into my account on my mobile device, but I was prompted to change my password and add a new phone number. After completing these steps, I logged into Messenger and discovered that the account I accessed wasn't mine. I do not know who the person is or how to remove my number from their account. I couldn't delete my number as the primary contact. I am concerned as my mobile number seems to be the only contact for this person. I am unsure how to reset their password or disassociate my number from their account. This is crucial for me as it is one of my main sources of contact. Thank you for addressing this promptly. My contact information: Email: [redacted], [redacted] Mobile number: [redacted]. Previous cellular number: [redacted]. Old email account: [redacted] (linked to my lost Facebook account). Thank you for your assistance.

I recently received a message from Facebook stating that someone reported me for being rude and threatening on Messenger. It has been 7 days since then, and I am unable to send messages regarding buying items. Additionally, I had 7 items listed for sale on Marketplace for 6 weeks, but since the report, I have not received any messages about these items on Marketplace or other buy/sell sites. I have contacted Facebook for assistance 24 hours ago, but have not received a response. I need these issues resolved promptly as I am active in buying and selling through Facebook continuously. If I do not hear back within 2 hours, I will escalate this further. The conversation with Luke Janssen, who reported me, is saved on my phone showing that I only responded after being provoked by him. It is unfair that he is still active while I am facing restrictions. My name is Michael Bow on Facebook, also known as William Michael.

Hello, I am experiencing an issue with my ad account that I have used for the past two years. The account has been disabled, claiming that I am not the administrator, without any prior warning or the chance to rectify any potential mistakes. I doubt that I violated any rules as I ensure all content adheres to policies, have proper licensing, and permissions for all materials used. The only issue I encounter is with payment authorization as my bank account has security measures in place. Despite promptly resolving payment rejections by my bank, my account remains disabled without a clear explanation. I understand the need for security but feel uneasy not knowing the cause for this action on my personal account. I am willing to provide any necessary identification for verification purposes. Please reach out to discuss and resolve this situation promptly. Thank you, Jelena C.

Since November 11, [redacted], I've been trying to access my Facebook account after more than 2 years of inactivity. Despite entering my correct username and password, Facebook has blocked my access and requests my ID photo. I've submitted my passport, uni library card, and bank statement over 20 times between November and January to no avail. Even though I consistently use the right credentials, my account "Aman Man" remains mysteriously blocked without explanation. Despite no rules against users logging in from different countries, each attempt prompts the ID request, which I've fulfilled numerous times. Now, in February, I'm immediately logged out every time I log in. I seek advice on regaining access to "Aman Man" to avoid traveling to California to resolve this with Facebook. Thank you for any assistance.

Hello, I used to access Facebook through a Google browser shortcut on my Windows desktop, which conveniently logged me in automatically. Since a recent Windows Update, my Gmail shortcut now requires manual password entry, as does my Facebook shortcut. When trying to log into Facebook, it claims my password was changed 11 months ago, which surprises me as I don't recall doing so and would have noted it down. The challenge is my Facebook account was linked to an old email, [redacted], which I no longer have access to for resetting the password. I've tried various old passwords without success and fear losing access to my account. I hope Facebook can assist in recovering my account by asking me specific account-related questions to verify my identity. I'm reluctant to start a new account after being a long-time user, so I appreciate any help you can provide. Thank you, Lisa Sweet from the UK.

My name is Joanna Lee, and my Facebook account has been hacked four times. Facebook notified me for four days straight. The hacker's name is Tran Huu Nguyen, the person Facebook contacted to secure my account. He posted on my account stating it was hacked by a Vietnamese hacker. I changed my password, deleted his comment, and temporarily deactivated my account. Despite my efforts, I kept receiving notifications from Facebook. I'm frantically trying to find help, deleting friends, and removing most pictures. I reset my password to a complex one and set it for permanent deletion, but the hacker keeps accessing it. He received emails on how to secure my account. I urge you to delete the account associated with [redacted] and [redacted] I'm willing to provide information from the postings to verify my identity. Please act promptly as I want this resolved soon. Thank you. Joanna Lee.

I appreciate the community Facebook provides for diverse conversations, but I never anticipated being targeted in a smear campaign with threats of violence. In a group called "I'll Name the Group Later," created for discussing various societal issues, I now find myself facing harassment and threats from an individual who knows my address. Private and distressing personal images of mine have been shared, reopening emotional wounds, particularly challenging after a suicide attempt five years ago. This trauma stems from past abuse by my ex-boyfriend, a painful chapter for which I sought solace in a friend who has since betrayed my trust by spreading this sensitive information within a secret online community of acquaintances. Despite my efforts to heal and move forward, my past is now being weaponized against me, culminating in threats of physical violence against myself and my partner due to a disagreement on responding to sexual assault. I've spoken with my therapist, who recommended reaching out to Facebook for support and intervention in removing harmful content geared at causing emotional or physical harm. My aim is not punitive action against the group, but rather to request the removal and flagging of the abusive post to prevent further circulation and protect other users.

Hello, I'm Raynier Diaz, a 21-year-old from the East Coast of the United States. I recently received an email on January 21, [redacted], at 11:53 am, informing me that my Facebook account had been disabled for sharing content deemed inappropriate. I shared a video about sexual yoga from another page that had clothing on and had garnered significant shares. Despite not originally posting it and believing it was harmless fun in a meme group, I now realize it was a mistake. I submitted multiple help tickets but have not received a response from Facebook. Feeling like I had no choice, I created a new account to stay connected with friends and family. However, Facebook then requested my phone number and later asked for my ID to confirm my identity due to the similarity between the accounts. I'm anxiously waiting for a resolution as they review my new account, hoping to regain access to either my original [redacted] account or my recent [redacted] account.

Hello, I hope this message reaches you in good health. I am reaching out about a past experience that continues to affect me. I am currently in the early stages of establishing a small business named Studio.71bay on Facebook and 71bay_fairtrade on Instagram. In late [redacted], unaware of Facebook ads and boosted posts, I utilized some credit offerings on the business page. Unfortunately, I was later billed close to 500AUD by Facebook in January [redacted], causing significant strain on my small business as I was just starting out. Since then, I have refrained from running any Facebook ads or boosting posts. Despite this setback, I would like to incorporate Facebook and Instagram ads into my budget planning. Regaining the AUD500 could greatly assist me in promoting my startup more effectively, supporting our social enterprise that empowers disadvantaged women in Bangladesh through fair trade practices and dedicated community initiatives in Australia. I am hopeful that Facebook could consider refunding the AUD500, enabling us to utilize it wisely for our business growth and charitable efforts. I eagerly await your response. Sincerely, Shehreen Ahmed

Hello, I am Katie. My account got disabled due to a verification issue. I want to clarify that I am a genuine 17-year-old individual. I am concerned about my account being disabled as colleges review it. It's crucial for them to see my activities and accomplishments. Although I haven't posted anything, it's essential for colleges to view the tagged pictures. I maintain good grades, actively attend church, and strive to be kind to others. My interests include reading and running, and I avoid conflicts. The thought of jeopardizing my college prospects because of a lack of online presence troubles me. I hope to resolve this issue smoothly and have my Facebook account reinstated to bolster my chances of gaining admission to a reputable college.

Please assist urgently. I need guidance on recovering my friend's Facebook account for Christine Joy Gallardo Pacio. On January 4, [redacted], she changed her password due to security concerns, but unfortunately, she cannot recall the updated password. The issue arose on a Windows computer after the password change, leading to unsuccessful login attempts with it displaying as incorrect or invalid. Without her old number and the current number linked to the account now associated with another profile, the recovery process has become quite challenging. Your support in retrieving her account is pivotal as her worried mother may be trying to contact her through Facebook, unaware of the situation. I am willing to provide any necessary authentication, such as an ID verification or a photo of her with an ID, to confirm ownership. Please advise on the authentication process required for account recovery. Your prompt assistance is greatly appreciated.

She changed her password on January 4, [redacted], due to security concerns, but has been unable to access her account since then. After coming out of a tough relationship, I decided to treat myself to a new cell phone, not having owned one for six years. I installed the app and logged into my Facebook account. In a panic, I changed my password, leaving my account open. After a few weeks, my phone started acting up, so Samsung support recommended a backup and reset, which logged me out of Facebook. I tried to reset my password through the forgot password option, but it required a recovery code sent to an email address for which I didn't know the password. I eventually changed the email and waited three hours for a response. The process seemed illogical, and I hope Mark Zuckerberg can streamline it.

Hello. I am using my mom's Facebook account to seek help. I lost my phone, which has the two-factor authentication code to access my Facebook account. Without the code, I can't log in even though I know my email and password. How can I disable the two-factor authentication and regain access to my Facebook account? Thank you.

I have bipolar disorder and lack activities at home. I struggle with depressive episodes. My account has been blocked for a month due to a previous mention of self-harm. I explained my difficult life circumstances, including losing my dad, my mom marrying a drug addict, and enduring neglect. It improved slightly after that, despite being impacted by Hurricane Katrina. I am requesting access to my account, as I feel unfairly targeted and monitored by the company, which has been distressing for me.

I am Sarah F., a co-owner of South Avenue Butcher in New Canaan, CT. Our former butcher, Michiel Hutten, created our business's Facebook page but has since left and cannot provide access. Alan G., another owner, also lost access to the account. Despite making payments, we are unable to retrieve the password or access the account. The email associated with the account, [redacted], belongs to Michiel. We seek ownership of the Facebook account for the business. The email [redacted] is inactive, leading to issues with our Instagram account reset.

In December, I noticed unusual activity with my account when it showed logins from Iraq. Despite changing my password multiple times, it kept getting changed afterwards. Recently, my contact details were altered, making it impossible for me to reset my password. I have tried all possible solutions provided by the help pages, contacted support, and had friends report my compromised account. I am worried about my personal information being exposed and find it concerning that Facebook, a company dealing with user data, is not easily reachable for help. I need to regain access to my account to secure my information. Your assistance in resolving this matter is greatly appreciated. Thank you, Maddy

After Facebook initially removed my post, I requested a review and they acknowledged their mistake and reinstated it. Strangely, my account is now blocked, prohibiting me from engaging on the platform. It seems contradictory that they admitted fault yet implemented a block. I can provide the email from Facebook Security upon request. Please contact me at [redacted] or [redacted]. Thank you for your assistance, John.
