Months back, I created a Facebook account for the game Dunk Nation 3x3. Initially, I kept it impersonal and later allowed two friends access. Unfortunately, one of them added their email to the account, raising suspicions of a scam. When I attempted to remove their email from the account recently, I was prompted with account recovery steps that required personal details and even a photo. This is distressing as I solely utilized the account for gaming. I find myself in a loop, repeatedly changing the password and providing evidence of past emails to regain access.

I'm reaching out for assistance with our Instagram account issue. Today, I have been trying to contact Instagram via email. Our Instagram account's main contact email belonged to a former employee who left a year and a half ago. After updating the email and submitting the change, there was no indication that the original email would be contacted for confirmation. Consequently, we are now locked out of our USC Annenberg Instagram account since the former email no longer exists. I am one of the main contacts for this account. It would be greatly appreciated if you could provide guidance on how to resolve this matter promptly. I am concerned that my adult daughter may have accessed my phone and altered both my husband's and my Facebook pages. She recently blocked two friends without my consent. Additionally, our pages seem to have merged into one account named Todd and Linda Deeds Boysen. I am unsure how to handle this situation. Furthermore, I am struggling to delete old Facebook messages that have now moved to Messenger and are associated with Todd and Linda's page. This has caused confusion among my friends who are receiving unexpected friend requests. I also have an outdated Facebook page under the name Linda (Deeds) Boysen from nine years ago that I am unable to close. I would appreciate assistance in resolving these issues promptly.

A few nights ago, I noticed that someone not on my friends list was commenting on my public pictures using my own profile picture. After reporting the account and trying to block the individual and change my password, I found my account disabled. I have been on Facebook for many years and always maintained a respectful presence due to my career in the USA Army. I value the trust of my followers and would never engage in inappropriate behavior. I believe there has been a mistake, and I kindly request a review of my profile to verify this. I need help. I want to leave a messenger group using the messenger app on my Samsung Galaxy J3 Prime, but I can't find the "information" or "home" buttons as suggested online. In the upper right corner, I only see phone and video chat options. At the bottom, I have a camera icon, options for attaching pictures, sending money, texting, and a thumbs up button. Can someone please advise me on how to exit the group on this version of the app?

I have been a Facebook user for many years. When I first opened Facebook, I used the email address [redacted] About 2 years ago, I changed my email provider to [redacted] When I tried to update my email address on the account, there was a glitch, possibly due to identification issues. After some troubleshooting, a phone representative suggested creating a new account with the updated email address. Recently, my old account resurfaced with both email addresses, causing concern about a possible hack. When attempting to change passwords, I faced challenges with the system not accepting new passwords and reverting to a mix of old and new account details. I had a concerning situation with a Facebook user - M Say Onyeoma - gaining unauthorized access to my account, sending threatening messages. With the help of a friend ([redacted]), I managed to regain access through my phone number. Unfortunately, access was lost again, and after attempts by my friend, it was determined that access can only be recovered through an email I no longer have access to ([redacted]). I believe the person who accessed my account changed the associated email and phone number. I am now locked out of my account and worried about the misuse of my information. I had not set up additional recovery options. I am seeking advice on how to regain access or potentially close or suspend the account for safety. I recently created a new Facebook account for my author business, using a shortened version of my name to maintain privacy from acquaintances. While preparing my first business post, Facebook flagged my account for unusual activity, prompting me to submit a photo. Unfortunately, my account was disabled until Facebook reviews it. I believe the discrepancy in my name usage raised suspicion, causing this issue. I'm unable to appeal as my ID doesn't match the account name. Although I have an old account under my real name, I prefer not to reactivate it. I simply want my new account reinstated promptly to resume selling my books. Hello, I recently deleted and reinstalled the Facebook apps on my iPhone, but I'm having trouble logging back in. Even though my phone (primary number [redacted]) recognizes me by keeping my profile picture, I can't log in to receive the code generator codes. Despite trying to recover my account by sending a photo of me holding a sign with the code, I never received the SMS message with the code (not sent to [redacted] either). Although I successfully reset my password using my email ([redacted]) and received confirmation, I still can't access my account. I worry that my account may have been compromised, but I can't verify it. I would like to know how I can lock my account temporarily until I regain control and what options I have for creating a new account with the same information. Due to receiving a full mailbox notification in Czech via an automated reply, I am now reaching out through this platform for assistance. I am experiencing difficulties accessing my account which disappeared in the spring or summer of [redacted], along with important messages from two Danish relatives. I believe the account may have been hacked and disabled. I have since tried creating a new account with the same details but it has also been disabled. The new account creation process requires a cell number for verification, which I do not possess. Hello, my name is Karen Loane, I seem to have been logged out and my account has been disabled. I received a download that I can't open. I urgently needed to set up a business Facebook page for an advertisement appearing in print tomorrow UK time. However, I am not very tech-savvy and struggled to fit my logo into the profile picture correctly. My profile only displays that one picture. Unfortunately, I was logged out before sorting this issue. I lack experience with social media and feel like I'm being punished for trying something new. I am disappointed with the situation and hope for another chance from Facebook to log back into my account. This setback has made me quite nervous about making mistakes, especially with technology. Dear Sirs, I am the administrator of the Facebook pages "JIJI KOUT" and "Ooh.LaLa.LB." Yesterday evening, I received a message in my email from Facebook stating that I needed to close my page and block my account, providing a code ([redacted][redacted]) I am unfamiliar with. This has been disconcerting for me as I am unsure of the reasons for this action. I have diligently managed these pages for nearly two years as my own business, solely promoting the products I sell. I invest money in advertising and ensure that only appropriate content is published, free from any offensive, political, inflammatory, religious or unusual materials. I am one of many who use Facebook for marketing purposes, and it is perplexing to me why my page was banned without warning. I wish I had been informed or cautioned if I had inadvertently violated any policies in order to rectify the issue. I maintain my innocence and hope for a swift resolution to reinstate my pages and lift the account ban. My work is essential to my livelihood, and I have not intended any harm. In the past two weeks, I have encountered issues with Facebook blocking me from liking posts due to what they deem as unusual activity, even though it's still me using the account. I run a t-shirt business and an American Sign Language page, which I need to actively engage in for success. Additionally, I post about ASL classes and on resale sites, necessitating timely responses to queries. Despite lodging five complaints on Facebook without receiving a response, the problem persists. Dealing with chronic pain from numerous kidney surgeries, caring for four kids, and managing their schedules is already overwhelming. As a distraction, I participate in contests like Freebie Moms on Facebook, but I need to like the page to remember my participation. I ask that this issue be resolved promptly as I strive to maintain successful businesses and manage daily challenges while abiding by all rules. Despite these hurdles, I have always followed Facebook's guidelines and am eager for a swift resolution.

Hello Facebook community. I am facing an issue with an old account that was hacked years ago, causing current problems. Upon searching my name to delete what I thought was my only original account, I discovered there are two Fisher Heards on the platform. The email linked to the account was created by my father when I was in high school. Unfortunately, he no longer has the password, and I no longer have access to the phone number associated with that account. The dormant account has not been active for a considerable time. I had originally set up my Facebook account with the email address [redacted] Two years ago, I switched my ISP to Comcast and changed my primary email to [redacted] When I tried to update my email on Facebook, I faced an issue where my identity was not recognized. After speaking to a technical support representative, I provided my driver's license for verification. However, this led to my account getting messed up, and I was advised to create a new one, which I did around 18 months ago. Recently, I received a prompt to enter my password on screen for my old account under [redacted], which now displayed my [redacted] email. I managed to access my old account with some current friends listed, thinking the information had merged. However, a friend alerted me to suspicious activity, prompting me to change my password, which was a challenging process. Despite multiple attempts to contact support, I have not received assistance. If there is a live person available now, I would appreciate help in resolving this issue.

Two existing page admins attempted to add a new admin to the Warren County Historical Society page in New York State. The account was originally created 7 to 8 years ago. When going to Page roles and entering the email address for the prospective new admin, the Add button remained grayed out. It was discovered that the newly appointed admin did not have an email in her personal profile Contact Information section. Any email entered would not work unless it was listed in a Facebook user's Contact Information. Interestingly, adding any friend's email account found in their Contact Information would allow them to be added as an admin. This issue was not found in Facebook help or through a Google search. It seems to be a new undocumented security feature. An answer or explanation is requested promptly. Additionally, existing admins without an email in their Contact and Basic Info section also face the same issue of the Add button being dimmed and not functioning.

I created my Facebook account many years ago when I was 13 years old. I'm now 23, and my original email is no longer valid. I've tried to reset my password, but it requires access to my old email. When I chose the option saying I don't have access to that email, Facebook initially allowed me to try to recover my account by submitting images of my driver's license. I followed the steps, entered a new email, and received a link from Facebook support to reset my password. However, after attempting the process, I received an error message stating that I had exceeded my attempts. Now, when I try to recover my account, Facebook doesn't provide me with the option to do so. I'm worried about losing all my precious photos and videos saved on the account.

I have a business Instagram page, and when I tried running ads, I was prompted to connect my Facebook account. Unfortunately, I accidentally created a business Facebook profile with a fake name instead of a page on my real profile. I linked this fake profile to my Instagram account, which is now blocked, and I can't unlink it from Facebook. My current issue is that I can't link my Instagram business page with my Facebook business page. When I try, I can only see the blocked profile. The error message says I must be an admin of the Page to link it through Business Manager. I suspect this is because my Instagram page was first linked to the blocked Facebook profile, which I can't access to unlink. Advertisements are essential for my business, and not being able to connect my Instagram and Facebook pages is limiting my reach. I apologize for the mistake with the fake profile and hope for assistance as I've been struggling to resolve this for hours.

On November 14, [redacted], I encountered an enticing ad that led to a free data update scan, which I believed was from Microsoft. Unfortunately, this resulted in the loss of my entire Facebook and Messenger accounts. A fake company named Marquee IT, represented by someone named Morgan, appeared offering assistance after the mishap. This seemed like a malicious attempt to deceive vulnerable users and access personal information, including deciphering passwords. Despite my efforts to regain access and create a new Facebook account, I am desperate to recover my old account with family photos and important memories. I have been frustrated for two months trying every possible solution suggested, only to end up disappointed repeatedly. Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.
