Subject: Issue Accessing Instagram Account Dear Support Team, I have been struggling to regain access to my Instagram account since June 23, [redacted]. Despite multiple attempts and complying with the verification request you made, I still can't log in. After receiving your email requesting a photo verification with a handwritten code, I followed all the instructions diligently. However, the issue persisted. I sent numerous emails on June 25th, August 25th (twice), September 8th, and September 29th. Even after changing my phone on August 24th, the problem persisted. I noticed my account had been tampered with; the username had two extra underscores (goku_rising__). My actual username is "goku_rising" with 62 posts, following [redacted] accounts, and 87 followers. The email linked to the password reset is incorrect and does not belong to me. I have reviewed the Help Center without finding a solution to this specific issue. It's vital for me to restore access to my original account rather than creating a new one. The photos, information, and posts in the account are valuable to me. Your prompt assistance in resolving this matter is highly appreciated. Thank you, C. Salter

My account got disabled after I made a comment that was reported for harassment, but it was just dark humor in response to a picture. It was not directed at anyone specifically, just a joke about the photo. I don't see how this can be considered bullying or harassment when it was not meant to threaten or target anyone. It's frustrating that someone can get offended and cause my account to be suspended. I've reviewed Facebook's terms and don't see how my comment violates them. I respectfully request for my account to be reinstated. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

My account was deactivated due to a comment I made that was reported for harassment. The comment was on a picture of a crying boy next to a drawer. I understand my comment was dark humor but it was not directed at anyone. I believe the decision to suspend my account is unfair, as it was not the most offensive comment on the post. I feel it is not bullying or harassment since it was not directed at anyone specifically. I am frustrated by this situation and hope my account can be reinstated soon. I have always respected the platform's rules, and I feel this situation does not warrant such action. I kindly request for my account to be unlocked. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I have encountered issues accessing my account due to repeated failed attempts, which eventually led me to reset my password through email. After successfully regaining access, Facebook prompted me to provide a cellphone number for text verification, but I do not own a cellphone. Additionally, despite adding a friend, the confirmation email was received, but the friend did not show up in my account. It seems like someone else may have been attempting to access my account, triggering the message about too many login attempts. I have since changed my email and Facebook passwords in response. To restore regular access to my account, I would appreciate assistance in bypassing the cellphone verification requirement. Daktari O. van N. Associated Email: [redacted]

There have been concerning posts in the East Lyme Community Group on Facebook suggesting a false connection between me and a Dr. Sarah Jane Selig, claiming I was a tenant of hers when I was not. Despite my efforts to clarify this misunderstanding, the posts persist and have escalated to include personal details about me and my family. The East Lyme Police have been involved, uncovering that the account in question appears to be a spoof of Dr. Selig's identity which her father, Rand Selig, has confirmed. Yale has verified Dr. Selig's background information and location, proving she has no affiliation with East Lyme. I am seeking assistance from Facebook to have these misleading posts removed as they are causing distress and safety concerns for me and my family. - Steven F.

I am experiencing an issue with my Instagram account, @iam.raykas. I believe my account was unjustly reported and disabled after I defended someone against bullying on a post by @forwarddemon. I shared my thoughts on the situation, prompting several reports. Despite my attempts to contact Instagram support, I have only received automated responses. I value my connections on Instagram and am devastated by the possibility of losing them due to a misunderstanding. I request a thorough investigation into this matter as I feel my account was disabled unfairly. Your prompt attention to this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I am genuinely frustrated with the ongoing issue of my Facebook account being permanently banned from creating pages or becoming an admin for new pages. Despite making multiple appeals over the years, all responses have been automated, and I have not received assistance from a real person. The problem started in [redacted] when I could not create pages to promote my music, assuming it would resolve itself after four years. However, I am now unable to create a page for my business or verify myself as an admin when invited by my business partner who set up the page. Contacting Facebook directly has proven futile as there is no way to reach a real person for help. This situation is extremely frustrating and detrimental to my business. I request immediate assistance to rectify this issue. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

My wife is having trouble accessing her Facebook account. This morning it unexpectedly appeared in Chinese, a language she doesn't understand. She used a cache cleaner on her laptop to resolve the issue, but when she tried to log back in, Facebook claimed her password was old and had recently been changed, though she hasn't updated it for years. The password reset link sent to her email, [redacted], arrived in Chinese, making it impossible for her to proceed. Adding another email address led to a similar issue. Despite providing additional information like her driver's license, Facebook still didn't grant access and advised her to try again later due to multiple attempts. It's frustrating as she is not Chinese, doesn't read the language, and the alternative email option is unfamiliar to her. Any assistance would be appreciated.

I am experiencing defamation on Facebook. My father, a veteran, and I dealt with an almost 4-alarm fire on November 25th. Two individuals, Nicole Doherty and Marla Marguglio, took advantage of the situation by creating a fraudulent GoFundMe account. Nicole set up the account for my father, Raymond Arra, but then made Marla the beneficiary and opened her own account under a false pretense of a house fire. Marla has been spreading false accusations about drug addiction and withholding donations from the generous contributors. This has caused great distress for my family. The situation escalated when Marla accused us of being drug addicts, tarnishing our reputation. She has failed to return all the money to the donors, claiming false allegations. Despite the stress, reporting her actions on Facebook proves to be challenging. The social media platform should have reached out to me regarding this matter. I am deeply disappointed and upset by this whole ordeal.

Even after providing a picture ID, our account remains disabled, causing us financial losses and hindering our outreach efforts. We are seeking assistance in resolving this issue promptly to resume our activities and engagement with our community. Sincerely, Alex Staykov President and CEO Silent Hall of Fame Moraga, CA, USA

I encountered an unusual issue on my Facebook page, "Tricia MT." While my boyfriend, "Jerry Kegler," and I share the same computer, our profiles seemed to have merged somehow. His picture appeared on my profile, and his notifications were showing up instead of mine. After attempting to reset passwords, the situation worsened. Now, my picture is on Jerry's page, and we cannot resolve this for 60 days due to the password changes. My Facebook page is crucial for building relationships for my business, but the mix-up has caused family and friends from both our profiles to be intertwined. I am seeking assistance to untangle this web and return our pages to their original state. Any help in understanding and fixing this technical glitch would be greatly appreciated.

I had a Facebook account a long time ago that I lost access to, along with the Hotmail email linked to it. I created a new Facebook account with a Yahoo email. Five years ago, I deactivated the newer account. Recently, I learned that the newer account has been hacked and is posting fraudulent ads. I mistakenly recovered the old account, deleting its information and deactivating it. I realized that it was the newer account (Yahoo) that was hacked, not the old one (Hotmail). When I attempted to log in to the newer account, the password had been changed, and the linked Yahoo account’s password was also altered. The Yahoo account is associated with an old deactivated AOL email that cannot be reactivated. Yahoo support informed me the account cannot be retrieved. I have reported the newer Facebook account as impersonating me, but I am unsure how Facebook will verify this since I changed my name on the old account and removed all information. I simply want the fake account to be shut down.

I've always used the email address [redacted] for my account, but a few weeks ago, I couldn't access it as the password had changed without my knowledge. I had to reset the password but faced issues due to the account's age. I then tried to link my account to [redacted], but a new account was created under the name Jenny mistakenly, which I deactivated. Trying [redacted], I managed to upload my ID and regain access briefly until my account was disabled inexplicably. I've submitted ID multiple times without success. I've been a loyal Facebook user for a decade and rely on it to keep in touch with faraway friends. I'm anxious to know why my account was disabled. Could it have been hacked? When can I expect to regain access? It's been 6 frustrating weeks with no resolution, and I've lost access to vital photos after losing my phone. I'm desperate for help, as Facebook is my last hope to retrieve them.

Dear Sir or Madam, I am reaching out regarding the concerning issue of multiple negative reviews appearing on my client's Facebook page. A sudden influx of nearly [redacted] identical and offensive reviews were posted, tarnishing the reputation of the business. These reviews were clearly fabricated, containing similar language errors and instructions for others to copy them. Furthermore, the reviewers are from a different country and have never interacted with my client’s services. The influx of false reviews has significantly affected the restaurant's rating from 4.8 to 1.1 within a day, misleading others and violating Facebook's guidelines. Despite reporting these fraudulent reviews, no action has been taken. We are seeking Facebook's assistance in resolving this matter and have involved the authorities due to the potential risks associated with the reviewers. I appreciate any help you can provide in addressing this urgent issue. Sincerely, Radmyla T.

I need help with my Facebook account. I recently created an account to advertise my business using the Business & AD Manager. After my account was disabled three times, I suspect it was due to my display picture. Initially, I used a black screen to remain anonymous, then changed it to a partially black photo after receiving a friend request. Finally, I used a clear photo of myself and spent around $[redacted] on ads before facing another disablement. I have submitted appeals with no response, despite not violating any rules or receiving warnings. Could you please explain why my accounts were disabled and if it's possible to reactivate them? I have attached my IDs and profile pictures for your reference.

Hello, I am seeking assistance with having photos of me removed from someone else's account. This individual is currently unable to take any action as they have been inactive for some time. As I am preparing to launch a TV series soon, it is crucial that these photos, which depict activities I no longer engage in, are not associated with me on that profile. I have tried marking them as spam, but it is a tedious process. I have even reached out to the person's mother in hopes of resolving this, to no avail. I am concerned about my privacy rights and would greatly appreciate if the photos featuring me could be deleted. Please contact me for further details, as there are numerous albums to go through. I prefer not to have the entire profile removed, just the images involving me. Your assistance in this matter would be highly valued. Thank you for your attention to this request.

I am reaching out with deep concern about my son, S.S., who recently passed away. He tragically died on October 7, [redacted], in what has been classified as a suicide due to gunshot wounds. Prior to his death, he had severed ties with his spouse amidst marital issues. Despite this, it has come to my attention that she is once again listed as a friend on his social media page. This goes against his wishes and emotions at the time, as he was deeply hurt and betrayed. I kindly request that you rectify this situation by investigating the timeline of events surrounding his friend removal and reconnection, which occurred before his passing on the morning of October 8, [redacted]. It is perplexing how a deceased person could accept a friend request, especially when the individual had unfriended her prior to his death. As per Facebook's guidelines, a legacy contact can manage certain aspects but is not able to accept new friend requests on behalf of the deceased. Therefore, I urge you to address this issue promptly by removing her from his profile as a friend. Thank you for your attention.

I recently reactivated my Facebook account after over 20 years. Initially, I had all my profile information public without any privacy settings. I encountered a person pretending to be a military individual named Keith M. Williams deployed in Afghanistan. The friend suggestion feature on Facebook led me to accept connections with numerous people, contributing to the issue. About a week ago, I noticed suspicious activity on my account, which prompted me to enhance my privacy and security settings. Personal information was being shared among Facebook users, feeling like a concerning game. This unfortunate event affected not only myself but also a Doctor I know. I suspect identity theft through Facebook, leading to my email accounts being compromised with info deleted and displayed in a foreign language. Even my web browsers were opening through Facebook links. I took precautionary measures such as canceling my debit card to protect my finances. As someone on disability facing various challenges, this situation caused distress and fear, especially as it affected my friends. Despite attempting to seek help through the fast help center, I found myself overwhelmed. Any assistance in resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Lynn
