A few months back, my account was hacked. I added two-step authentication, thinking the issue was resolved. I believed I unintentionally clicked a boost button, initiating a Facebook ad campaign (which I've never done before), so I contacted Facebook in frustration assuming they had started ads for me mistakenly. Consequently, they suspended my ads account, and I assumed they had rectified the ads. Today, as I planned to run ads for my band, it dawned on me that starting an ad campaign inadvertently is unlikely. Additionally, I discovered that ad campaigns can be run and debt incurred without adding a payment method. I now find out I owe Facebook $63 for those ads I protested about months ago.

I am seeking assistance regarding a situation where a former employee of our radio station, KRKC Radio News, has unlawfully taken control of our Facebook page with over 9,[redacted] subscribers. Despite legal action and a cease and desist letter, the ex-employee refuses to return our property and has attempted to sell it back to us. The Facebook page was renamed "New Hound," but evidence within the page still links it to our radio station, including stories with our call letters. We have launched a new page, but lack the substantial subscriber base that was developed during the ex-employee's tenure. We possess incriminating emails where he confessed to taking the page, spreading false information about our business, and trying to sell it. Before escalating the matter legally, I am reaching out for guidance in reclaiming our stolen business asset. I am Bill Gittler, President of King City Communications, operating radio stations in Southern Monterey and Northern San Luis Obispo Counties in California. I eagerly await your response and support in recovering our property and believe that Facebook can assist in resolving this issue.

I created a Facebook account a while ago and tried to access it today. I attempted three methods: 1) Initially, I used the original password and was prompted to confirm my identity but couldn't proceed. 2) Next, I tried resetting my password and received a code via email. After changing the password, I faced the same identity confirmation issue. 3) As a last resort, I created a new account but encountered the same identity verification challenge. I need assistance in accessing my account. Thank you.

In early December, I received an email from Facebook informing me that my account was deactivated due to a complaint from a third party, Elf on a Shelf. My entire Facebook profile, including Messenger and Marketplace, has been disabled because of this copyright infringement claim. I believed I was cautious in my listing by describing the item as a Fairy/Doll similar to Elf on a Shelf, a unique creation made by my 74-year-old uncle. I never intended to violate any copyrights. Facebook stated they won't reactivate my account until I resolve this issue with the third party. Operating a small weekend business with mostly handmade and antique items, I heavily rely on Marketplace to promote my products. I also recently started a group with [redacted] members in just ten days. Being unable to use Messenger, I've lost a vital communication tool for reaching customers about my items. I've never had problems with my account in the past and I strive to use Facebook positively. I hope to regain access to Facebook soon for both personal and business connections. I've reached out to Elf on a Shelf for clarification, but given the holiday season, I understand it might take some time. I'm hopeful that this email will aid in reactivating my account. Thank you for any assistance. Rebecca.

Subject - Request for Facebook Account Recovery Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing from Chandigarh, India, to wish the Facebook team a Happy New Year for [redacted]. I am reaching out to request assistance in recovering my Facebook account, which appears to have been disabled mistakenly. I had recently sent out New Year messages to around [redacted] friends in 10 minutes through Messenger. Unfortunately, after attempting to do so, I received a message stating that my account had been disabled. I was directed to the Help Centre for further information. Despite my efforts to navigate to the Help Centre, I faced connection issues, and even after logging in again, I was met with the message explaining the account's ineligibility. I believe there has been a mistake, and I kindly request your assistance in reactivating my account. My Facebook username is Gurprabh Gill, and my email associated with the account is [redacted] Thank you for your attention to this matter. Warm regards, Gurprabh Gill

Hello, I am having trouble with my Instagram account, not Facebook. I have reached out to Instagram without any response for the last two weeks. My account, f.a.sultan, was temporarily disabled. When I tried to log in after two months, it said the username was not found. I suspect it was either hacked, or Instagram deactivated it for unknown reasons because I did not violate any terms. My account holds significant memories in the form of photos and videos, and I am devastated at the thought of losing them forever. I am desperate to recover my account. Please, if you can, forward my request to an active Instagram email. My linked number is +[redacted]04. I am willing to provide evidence of ownership if needed. Your help in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Fatima Ashraf

A group of us, who deeply admire President Obama, have been experiencing relentless harassment on Facebook for the past three days. The page in question appears to be lacking proper administration. Approximately 24 individuals have been targeting Obama supporters with offensive and hurtful language on the "I miss Barack Obama" page, which has around 6,[redacted] members. They engage in bullying tactics to provoke reactions and then report the supporters who defend themselves, yet the offenders' racist remarks persist. In response, we have created a new page to escape this behavior ("Barack Obama - A True Leader"), but one of the harassers has infiltrated our new group and is monitoring our activities. We are unable to avoid their interference. We suspect that the individual who reported me, along with Don A. Robertson, Brian Henning, and Greg Paterson, is the same person disrupting our new page. Our group avoids internal harassment and solely expresses frustration with the abundance of racist content and bullying on the "I Love Barack Obama" page. This conduct is being carried out by Trump supporters targeting Obama supporters and creating a toxic environment. We urge Facebook to remove the individual who is causing trouble in our group and investigate the offensive behavior on the "I Love Barack Obama" page. The actions of these individuals are harmful and unacceptable. Thank you.

Hello, I am reaching out for assistance with my Instagram account, not Facebook. I have been trying to contact Instagram for two weeks without any response. I temporarily disabled my Instagram account under the name f.a.sultan, but when I tried to log in after two months, it says the username is not found. It seems to have disappeared, and I suspect it might have been hacked or deactivated by Instagram. I have not violated any terms and conditions, and I am distressed as my account holds many cherished memories in the form of pictures and videos. I am afraid of losing them forever without any backup. Please, if possible, forward my request to an active Instagram email for resolution. I am willing to provide evidence of ownership. Thank you for your help. Sincerely, Fatima Ashraf

Help Center I am unable to access my previous account. On December 31st, it was compromised by another individual. I suspect this person, using my old phone number, attempted to create an account, causing disruption to both of our accounts. I seek assistance in restoring my account, as my Facebook account retains my old phone number [redacted], unaltered. The other user's IP address originates from Crawfordsville, IN, and her name is Mary Lou Lewis. My Facebook profile is under the name Sarah Katherine Maginity. Reinstating my account to its former state is of utmost importance to me. I would greatly appreciate any help or guidance in resolving this issue. Losing access to photos spanning 11 years, which hold cherished memories of my children, graduations, births, marriages, etc., would be a significant loss. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Sarah Maginity

Facebook: Retrieve my page immediately! I discovered multiple pages with my name lacking photos and containing false information - clones. After numerous attempts to address this through the available options, I finally managed to delete the fake pages, only to find out that Facebook removed my genuine account, keeping the clones instead. This action is incomprehensible - how could you or your algorithm make such a mistake? I have valuable years of irreplaceable history stored there. I did not copy it; I did not intend to delete it. This is my only connection to my life before becoming disabled. It was my source of inspiration. I am deeply upset over this situation. Your incompetence and lack of regard for your users is appalling. Restore my Facebook page promptly, or I will take necessary steps to expose your shortcomings. You are losing users due to your poor customer service. Rectify this issue unless you want to continue losing credibility and support.

I have been in contact with Instagram numerous times but have not received any assistance. Three days ago, my account was hacked, resulting in the deletion of my posts from the last 3 to 4 months. This account is vital for work, and I have over 40,[redacted] followers whose posts I need to recover. The original username, @summerdealmeida, is now unavailable, even though there is no other account with that name. I have since set up the account under @summerdealmeida_. I need guidance on reclaiming my original username. Due to a security flaw in Instagram's system, I was able to regain access to the account after the hacker changed the account's name, email, and phone number. Despite this, I could still access the account through my laptop and restore my information. However, I require assistance in recovering the deleted posts and reclaiming my original username. Instagram's lack of support in this matter is unacceptable. I insist on speaking with someone who will thoroughly review my emails and help me resolve these issues promptly. Failure to address this situation adequately will not be tolerated. Please respond promptly on how to recover my deleted content and restore my username.

I believe I understand why Facebook’s stock has dropped by 40% in a year. Upon rejoining Facebook last week after a 3-year break, I faced an issue. The first day back, I shared a video with supporting text in my Story without any problems, receiving positive feedback from about 10 members. The next day, I shared a more engaging video with text but received no responses for six hours, which was frustrating. After waiting, both the video and text mysteriously appeared four hours later, but I still did not receive any comments, despite the video getting 12 million views. A possible issue could be that pressing the Facebook app on my iPhone sometimes turns it into a camera mode, causing confusion. This glitch adds to my frustration. Seeking help before considering leaving Facebook, Lew R. Eastvale, California P.S. I have another story to share but hesitant to do so. P.P.S. I am unsure of my Username and Password and struggling to find them due to my lack of technical skills.

Hello, I recently purchased a new device and need to log into my Facebook account. Unfortunately, I have forgotten my password and can no longer access the original email linked to my account, as it was associated with a hotmail account now merged with Microsoft. Despite numerous attempts to recover access to the email, Microsoft has been uncooperative. They suggested creating a new email, which won't help in this situation. Their next recommendation was to seek assistance from Facebook to regain access to my account. Although I have a new email, I discovered that I need my account password to add it. Additionally, I learned about adding trusted contacts, but I cannot access this feature from my phone, as I am unable to log into my account. Once I regain access, I plan to take these steps. This process has been incredibly frustrating, and I am willing to provide any necessary information to prove my identity as the account owner. I hope there is a solution to this predicament, and any help from your end would be greatly appreciated.

I recently paid for advertising on Facebook to increase my ad likes. My ad was successful, gaining over [redacted] new post likes. This has given me over [redacted] potential new followers to invite to like and follow my page. However, when I started sending out invites, Facebook restricted my ability, claiming that too many invites can be seen as spam. I am frustrated because why pay for ads to get likes if we can't convert post likes into page likes? I am unsure of the daily limit for invites set by Facebook. It's disappointing that after paying for a service, access is restricted. I have been trying to get assistance from Facebook but have only received generic responses about algorithms. It seems unfair to treat paying customers like spammers and block account activities. I hope Facebook will lift the restrictions soon.

Hello, I'm Linda H. Recently, I came across a gentleman on Swipe Swap who crafts [redacted] coins into rings. I tried to purchase one from him and encountered payment issues. Despite several attempts through PayPal and directly on his website, the payment didn't go through successfully. Eventually, I realized that $25 was deducted twice from my checking account without him receiving the funds. I've kept all our communication on record. The bank advised me to contact Facebook to address this situation. I am disputing the two unauthorized charges and seeking a refund of $50 from Jeff Ferguson, as I never received the ring. Your attention to this matter is appreciated. - Linda H.

Hello, I'm Bree from Australia. My husband and I operate a Martial Arts Centre. Approximately six months ago, my husband placed a sample order for protective helmets from an individual in Pakistan representing a large manufacturing company. We made a small initial order without the security of PayPal due to the absence of a secure eCommerce system in Pakistan. At the start of December, when he requested a larger order, his behavior turned unpleasant, and we declined further business with him due to his poor attitude and customer service. In response, he resorted to immature behavior, sending us abusive messages and leaving a defamatory review on our business page, Pollet's Martial Arts Centre- Orange, falsely claiming we owed him money. Contrary to his claims, we do not owe him anything as we paid the full invoice amount along with shipping fees before receiving the sample order. Despite providing bank statements and a commercial invoice to support our side, the false comment remains on our page. The individual's profile is under the name AdnAn Dar, which we believe to be fake. We have attempted to report this to Facebook without success and have also directly emailed them with no resolution. Any assistance in rectifying this situation would be greatly appreciated.

I am John West, a board member at Project Hero / Ride 2 Recovery, a non-profit supporting injured Veterans. We recently removed CEO John Wordin due to actions harming our organization. Wordin changed admin passwords, locking us out of our FB page. He now runs a competing charity, misusing our page. We're suing in LA for this and IP issues, seeking FB's help to reclaim our page and update our 18,[redacted] followers. We can provide legal evidence and need guidance on resolving this to reassure our supporters. Countless Veterans think our charity is closing. Your assistance is appreciated. Thank you.

Hello, I have been reporting a hacker on my Facebook page since March [redacted]. Despite numerous attempts to get help from Facebook, no one has investigated the issue or assisted me in reclaiming my page. With over a million followers, it is devastating to see my page compromised. The hacker has not only taken control of my account but is also profiting from reposting my original content through advertisements. This individual is impersonating me, utilizing my images, and even responding to messages as if they were me. The lack of support from Facebook is concerning, and I suspect that an internal staff member may be involved. I plan to escalate this matter by involving the media and seeking legal counsel. It is distressing to witness my hard work and following vanish. Despite changing my password and implementing two-factor authentication, the hacker still maintains control. I am desperate for assistance in reclaiming my page. Thank you for any help you can provide.

Dear Madam/Sir, I am writing to address the concerning issue of some users repeatedly reporting accounts belonging to fans of the rapper Booba (@boobaofficial) without valid reasons. This has resulted in the deactivation of several accounts due to alleged "impersonation" of Booba. These accounts, such as @unkutzermorray (77.8k followers) and @koppinstateam (67k followers), have been managed by dedicated fans for over three years. They have played a significant role in connecting the community with Booba by sharing content related to the rapper. The people behind these accounts always make it clear that they are fan pages and not official ones, fostering communication between the fans and the artist. I urge you to review the situation and reconsider reactivating the following accounts for the benefit of the entire community: @boobacommunity (19.1k), @boobacrew (20k), @koppinstateam (65k), @unkutzermorray (77.8k), @alpacino_dcntd (8k), @boobaoklmzer (60k), @boobafanclub (18k), @92i_lactu_nwar (16.3k), @77skopp (5k), @boobaofficialdz (14.4k). Thank you for your attention to this matter, and I sincerely hope you will consider the impact of your actions on the fan community. Best regards, Paul R.
