Hi, i have an issue that i would like some advice please. A facebook member that has been convicted of a brutal murder and has started a ** year sentence in December has posted a picture on facebook from prison. I am a family member of the victim and as you could understand, this post has added a lot of stress and upset for our whole family through this hard time. The picture shows that he is having a great time and clearlty shows he has no remorse for what he has done. Regardless, is there anything that can be done about this i.e can his account be deleted? He has no need for a facebook account as he will be in prison for at least the next ** years and illegal posts like this (which i am sure there will be more) will cause more heartache and stress for our whole family. I have contacted the prison he is in to advise of what he has done to which they are going to investigate this serious matter as he should have no access to a mobile phone or internet etc whilst in prison.
