I was contacted by an elderly friend, Harold Cantley, who is 85 or 90, regarding a supposed offer of money from the CEO of Facebook. The message came from someone using his name and picture. They provided a website link where I was asked to provide personal details like my name, address, phone number, age, and gender. When I questioned the legitimacy and received incorrect personal details from the supposed friend, I realized it was a scam. Despite attempts to contact me via phone from the number [redacted], I did not respond. I tried to inform Harold about the fraudulent use of his identity, but he seemed unaware. This scam seems to be operating through message boards targeting individuals like Harold. Please be cautious.

My Facebook account got disabled for using the name Plymouth Fury, even though there are many other accounts with that name. I've repeatedly informed them that my real name is Sean Rats Leclerc, and everyone knows me as Plymouth Fury. I'm frustrated and my blood pressure is rising. I feel like I'm having a heart attack. My followers and I are cut off from each other. They want to change my Profile into a Page. How can they justify deleting two years of work just because they dislike my name? They seem to only target me while there are plenty of others with the same name. I can't even access my Messenger to inform my followers. I'm considering taking legal action against them for causing such distress. This situation is making my life incredibly difficult.

As a U.S. veteran, I'm concerned about my personal Facebook account being disabled. I've had it for seven years without any issues until recently when it was blocked twice within two weeks. It's frustrating that Facebook doesn't provide clear information on the duration of the block or why I can't open a new account if needed. My disabled son relies on Facebook to stay connected with family. It would be beneficial to have phone support for better assistance. Being left in the dark about the situation is disheartening. I apologize if inadvertently creating a second account caused this issue. I always used my real name and pictures. My previous comment got reported, and I didn't realize sarcasm was a violation. The thread was full of #botnets and #Trolls making racist and insensitive remarks without consequences. Defending myself with sarcasm led to being blocked. As an African American user, I feel targeted by Russia hacking and my privacy has been compromised. The platform has failed to protect African American users. The company's lack of diversity affects their response to racism. I want my information deleted, and I planned to leave after discovering how my data was mishandled. I cannot support a platform that values profit over privacy and tolerance. It's disheartening to experience racism on a popular platform.

Hello Instagram team, I am a business owner using your platform to grow my brand. I recently paid for a shoutout on another account that claimed to have a 2 million-follower audience across different pages. I expected to gain 6k followers from this exposure, but instead, the followers were added within 30 minutes, which I did not want. I contacted the account to ask for the followers to be removed as I only wanted a shoutout, but they said they couldn't do it. This unexpected increase in followers could harm my account, and I am reaching out to see if there is a way to remove them without having to delete my account. I suspect this occurred because I am relocating my office to a new location, which will change my computer's IP address. I have already changed my password twice. However, when verifying, I only have the option to confirm friends' faces, sometimes showing random friends I do not recognize from the internet. I activated two-factor authentication on my Facebook account and set it up to receive codes via text on my phone number ([redacted]). I recently changed carriers from T-Mobile to Sprint but kept the same number. Now, when I try to log in, I never receive the texted generator code needed to access my account. This has been going on for about a year, and creating a new account is not a desirable solution for me. I'm puzzled by the lack of support from Facebook given the detailed information required when setting up the account. I expected better customer service from such a large company. I hope to resolve this issue promptly.

Hello, I requested my account to be deleted but it still shows up when others search by name. I suspect my account has been compromised and would like it to be removed immediately. When searching for friends using the name "fashy-n-classy," my website, www.fashy-n-classy.com, linked to Amazon, appears which concerns me as I fear someone might misuse it for profit, diverting traffic from my site. My Facebook account has been problematic; after logging out, it logs back in without my authorization. Initially, I created an account under De Armani and later opened a likes page which has caused multiple issues. I am uncertain of the situation, hence, please delete my website from Facebook promptly. If I inadvertently added the link and it triggered spam filters, I apologize. Regardless, I request its removal since I cannot access it yet it remains visible to others online. Urgently looking for a resolution. Thank you.

I am having trouble accessing my Facebook account. I have been a user for over 10 years. The email associated with my account is [redacted], but I have forgotten both the password for Facebook and the email. I cannot receive a code on my hotmail email because I also forgot its password. I do not have access to my old phone numbers linked to Facebook for code verification. Unfortunately, my old phone with saved login details was stolen. I am unable to access my old Facebook account. It was created when I was much younger, and a friend and I temporarily changed our ages as a joke. I am now unable to verify the account with my ID due to the false age. I acknowledge that this was against the rules, given my young age and naivety. I would appreciate any guidance on how to resolve this matter and regain access to my account. I have valuable connections and memories stored there that I would like to retrieve.

Hello, I'm Denzel Newsome, using the name Zeliantte Rascalovanni on Facebook. Five years ago, my friend Cristhian Mina reported me as a joke, resulting in a 30-day Facebook ban. Recently, my Facebook and Instagram accounts were disabled, causing a lot of stress as these are my primary means of communication with family. Cristhian, who made the report, has been assisting me in contacting the help center to explain that the report was a prank and I haven't posted anything inappropriate. I encountered an issue with my Facebook account today. Upon logging in, I received a notification that someone had attempted to access my account, prompting me to verify my identity. Unfortunately, upon trying to confirm that it was indeed me, I was asked to log in again, but I couldn't recall my password as I usually stay logged in. I attempted to reset my password, but the system couldn't locate my account. However, when I tried logging in again, it displayed my profile picture and a partially obscured password. Now I find myself locked out of my Facebook account and unable to access Messenger, a vital tool for communicating with clients. I urgently need assistance unlocking my account and changing my password to restore access. I need assistance concerning a situation where someone posted a sensitive photo of me without permission. The customer service representative asked me to purchase a $50 Google card, ensuring they could resolve the issue. Following their instructions, I bought a card and shared the code. However, the representative then requested multiple sets of $50 cards, causing me to spend a total of $[redacted]. They promised a refund as per Facebook policy but continued to ask for more cards until I couldn't afford it. Eventually, they directed me to another person who asked for my bank details and promised to refund me my money plus $20, but only if I bought $[redacted] worth of additional cards. After realizing I had already spent $[redacted] with no resolution, I was left feeling distressed. I shared my details with them, but the call ended abruptly. I am devastated by this situation and just seek help to recover my lost funds.

While I have been subjected to seeing images portraying Michelle Obama in an offensive manner, I have refrained from reposting them. If my post was deemed a violation, I apologize and assure you it won't happen again. The accusation of harassment used to justify my 30-day ban during the holiday season seems questionable. I believe the staff member responsible for my ban might have biases towards certain political figures. The ban reason provided does not align with my behavior on Facebook. I considered contacting the Better Business Bureau, but prefer to resolve this amicably. I promise not to share the photo or indulge in harassment. My ex has hacked my Facebook account, and I have been unable to log in for months. I had to create multiple accounts due to his interference, but now that I have a restraining order against him and he has stopped bothering me, I made a new profile about a month ago. Unfortunately, the Facebook team disabled it. I kindly request to have all the accounts he accessed shut down and my latest one reactivated securely, so he can't gain access to it. It's disheartening that I may not have a Facebook account if this issue persists.

My phone was stolen, and my phone number was temporarily suspended after leaving it in a Lyft car. In the meantime, I added another line to my phone until I could afford to replace the stolen one. However, I have been unable to log in to Facebook on my new phone. I changed my password but continue to see someone else's Facebook account, labeled as Amando Numberforyou, linked under my email and new password. This is concerning as I do not know this person. Three months ago, I received a notification stating that I was placed on a 30-day block for a post, which I believe was unjust. Shortly after the block expired, I was put on another 30-day block for a similar issue. After contacting a number I found for Facebook, I was told my account had been compromised and used for inappropriate activities. They directed me to a tech security company to resolve this issue, which cost me $[redacted]. However, despite this, I have encountered the same problem again, receiving a third 30-day block even though I have not violated any community standards. I feel unfairly targeted, especially considering a recent block was based on a post from five years ago. I fear I may continue to face repetitive blocks, and I rely on Facebook due to being disabled. I hope this is a mistake in the system and seek assistance in resolving this issue.
