On 12/8/18, someone requested my Facebook password. I was hesitant but eventually gave in, thinking I would change it right away. Unfortunately, I forgot to change it that evening. Recently, the same person and I had a disagreement. They retaliated by accessing my account and changing my password, phone numbers, and birthdate. This locked me out of my account. Even though I managed to log back in, I updated my old information, sent a photo, and entered several codes to verify my identity. Now, I am locked out again, possibly because I did not update the password change correctly. It's frustrating for an older woman like me who struggles with understanding computers. My business page got hacked, leading to unauthorized charges and messages from unknown individuals. Despite deleting the page and canceling my card, I keep receiving notifications about more attempted charges. I will not be creating a new page until this issue is resolved. I did not authorize any ads to run on my behalf and refuse to pay for them. I demand that these unauthorized charges and notifications cease immediately.

My business page was hacked, leading to an unauthorized ad being run without my knowledge. Subsequently, I received messages from individuals in other countries and my bank account was charged $**. Although I noticed repeated attempts to charge my account, they were unsuccessful as I reported the initial charge to my bank, prompting a card cancellation. I want to clarify that I did not authorize this transaction. Given that it is currently the off-season for my work and I handle my own advertising, I find it unacceptable. I have deleted the page and will refrain from creating a new one until this matter is resolved. I firmly refuse to pay the disputed charges as I neither saw nor approved the ad content. I insist on the cessation of these attempts on my bank account and the issue to be resolved promptly.

I have two Facebook accounts linked to the email [redacted] One account is under the name Kathleen Williams with a picture of me in a strap dress in front of a 32-inch TV. The other account is of my late mother with half of her face and half of my brother's face. They share the same phone number but have different passwords. The issue is that one of the accounts keeps getting disconnected, and I am unsure why. Both accounts belong to me, and the name Kathleen Williams is used to differentiate them as there are multiple Williams on my website. Please do not disconnect either account. I visited a non-secure website from a condo in FL, and afterward, my Facebook account started behaving strangely. I tried logging out and back in, but I can't access my account properly. Whenever I log in, it shows an account with no friends, prompting me to send new friend requests. When I check notifications, I have to click on the bell every time. I'm unable to comment on some posts or share content. It all feels very odd. I want to restore my original account profile with my pictures and old conversations. Over the past weekend, I discovered that there was a fake account impersonating me on Facebook with the same name and avatar. I promptly reported this imposter. However, the next day, my genuine account was unexpectedly disabled due to reports of being a fake account. It seems like the person behind the fake account sought revenge. I am currently facing difficulties in appealing to regain access to my account. I have submitted my ID, Visa card, and passport, but Facebook's responses have only been automated, and the waiting period is quite long (2-3 days for each message). The issue seems to stem from the difference in my birthday date between Facebook and my ID, as I prefer not to publicly share my exact birthday on the platform. However, the birth year is accurate. As a Facebook ad agency, I have been using this account for over 8 years and have invested in ads for my company. I find the current support process inconvenient for my business, with over a week passing and only receiving automated replies. I welcome any suggestions from the community on expediting this process.

Recently, I discovered that a robot had created a fake account mirroring mine on Facebook (Same name, same profile picture). I reported the imposter account, and shortly after, my genuine account got disabled due to being reported as a fake one. It seems like a case of revenge. I am now struggling with the appeals process to regain access to my account. I've submitted my ID card, Visa card, and passport, but Facebook's responses have been automated, and the waiting time is long (2-3 days for each message). Yesterday, my account was hacked. I have been diligently following instructions to recover it. Facebook has added my correct email address back, as mentioned in this thread. The issue now is that after receiving the recovery password link via email and entering the code correctly, I received a message stating I attempted it too many times and need to wait, without specifying how long. Despite trying various methods, I am still unable to access or change my password, and the hacker continues to log in. Friends have informed me that the hacker is making money requests. I provided state identification which Facebook uploaded without my consent, revealing my full name along with my birthdate and age. This poses a risk of identity theft as I cannot access my account, allowing the hacker access to personal details in messages, including debit/credit card information, social security numbers, and more. I urgently need you to remove my name from the profile and unblock my access using the email codes. The hacker is causing serious problems, and I have provided all requested information without regaining access. Your actions are unintentionally aiding the hacker. I am receiving emails requesting money and more. Please grant me access promptly.

I shared the rules of the Platika game for Bingo Blitz on Facebook because they were being violated. Unfortunately, even though I posted outside of the group, members still bullied me and called me names. One individual kept tagging others to continue the harassment. I decided to block that specific person to prevent further trouble, but she turned out to be an admin of the group. Now, a week later, the group owner is threatening to kick me out if I don't unblock the troublemaker. I refused. I let the owner know I will report this behavior. The owner is persistently messaging me. I have saved all the posts and messages as evidence and will share them with Facebook to resolve this issue.

While working on ads for my marketing campaign, the page kept asking me to refresh, resulting in being logged out due to security reasons and requesting verification through a phone code. Once I resumed working on my ad, I was logged out again and asked for a photo. I am frustrated with this recurring issue as I was simply filling in ad information. The platform flagged my actions as unusual, and waiting for photo review is delaying my work progress. Being frequently logged out of Facebook is hindering my productivity.

I express myself based on my inner feelings without intending to harm others. This is the second time my content has been blocked, and I find it frustrating. I have been a loyal user of Facebook for a long time, and lately, there seems to be increased censorship. I believe we should be able to freely express ourselves. My last attempt was to warn others about severe upcoming weather, but I was still blocked. I am not usually one to get upset, but this situation is testing my patience. I ask for a little more consideration for those with differing beliefs. There are many intelligent individuals in the world, aside from those at Facebook.

Someone manipulated me into sharing sensitive information on Facebook by pretending to be someone else. They now have a compromising photo of me and are threatening to share it with my friends and family unless I pay them. I've adjusted my privacy settings, hidden my friends list, and disabled my account to secure it. However, I'm unable to create a new account due to the many cherished photos stored in the current one. The only communication with this individual was a "hey" message I sent. Although nothing has happened yet, I'm anxious about them being able to track my online status after messaging them. Living in fear is not an option for me.

Hello. A couple of days ago, I lost access to my Facebook Page while trying to link it to Facebook Business Manager. I am the original creator of the page, and it is still connected to my Instagram account. I can provide screenshots showing the link between the two accounts. My sister, who was another admin, also lost access simultaneously. As of now, the page does not appear in "My Pages," and I need to understand why. Yesterday, someone stole photos from my profile featuring myself and my child and posted them on a fake account with inappropriate captions as a way to harass us. Despite reporting this to Facebook, only one photo has been taken down. The other photo, which is of my child and me, has been changed to the fake account's profile picture without the offensive caption, making it look innocent. I face difficulties explaining to Facebook why this seemingly harmless photo is offensive through their reporting system, and my report of it was initially rejected. When I attempted to seek help from a human, I was redirected to unhelpful sections in the help center. Even though I followed the steps provided in the help center link, the issue remains unresolved, and the photo is still up after twenty-four hours. While I reported the fake account too, my priority is to have my child's image removed from the stranger's profile.

I recently created a second profile using my first and middle name for a business page on my new nerdy youtube channel. However, I keep getting locked out of the account with a request to upload a picture of myself. After complying multiple times, my access is restored without any explanation. This has happened for the third time in two weeks, and I am frustrated with Facebook's lack of communication and support. Despite reaching out to them numerous times, I have not received any responses. Trying to submit an appeal now results in a message saying my email does not belong to a disabled account, adding to my frustration.

Hello, my name is Joyce Hyde. My account username is [redacted], and I am reaching out for assistance with two accounts. I have a Facebook account that was created in August of [redacted]. Recently, I got a new phone and forgot the password to my original account. This led me to accidentally create a new account due to the frustration of not being able to access my original one. I'm experiencing issues with my Facebook accounts being disabled. I play an iOS game called Guns of Glory, which is linked to my Facebook account. Recently, I encountered login problems, and while Guns of Glory has been assisting me with recovering my game data, my Facebook accounts keep getting disabled. I have created three accounts, and all three have been disabled for reasons unknown to me. I am frustrated and upset about this situation with Facebook. I am concerned about the Marriot hack incident. My Marriott account was compromised, leading to an attempt to book 7 airline tickets from the US to China using my Marriott points, followed by unauthorized access to my American Airlines account to book a flight from China to Egypt. Furthermore, my Facebook account has been taken over; fortunately, there is minimal activity on it currently. I am planning to create a new Facebook account with a different email address, as the compromised one, [redacted], will be deactivated. I request assistance in identifying the perpetrators of this breach to stop them or delete the affected Facebook account.
