I am receiving messages from friends on Messenger saying they are getting friend requests from me. I need to reset my password but can't access the associated email and when I enter it, another email address shows up that isn't mine (it starts with the letter "a"). I believe a code for the password reset is sent to the original email. However, if I request a reset, it might be sent to the wrong email or the inaccessible one (preventing me from getting the code to change my password). I have a new valid email and phone number. Can you please help me update my email to the new one so I can securely reset my password? Thank you for your assistance.

I have a smartphone and a tablet. I originally had Facebook Messenger Lite on my smartphone using my email as my username. When I tried to use the same username on my tablet, my Facebook account got disabled. I ended up creating a new Facebook account on my tablet. Despite not liking Facebook Messenger, I had Messenger Lite on my smartphone and kept receiving reminders to use the regular Facebook Messenger. To stop the reminders, I uninstalled both Messenger Lite and Messenger from both devices. Now, I'm having trouble with Facebook due to the different emails I used. I deleted both accounts and now want to have Facebook on both my smartphone and tablet with the same username and password, but it won't allow me to use the same account on both devices. I just want Facebook without any Messenger apps and without being reminded about unread messages. Can I achieve this?

I have Facebook open on both my phone and iPad. My iPad games are connected through Facebook. While playing Family Feud on Tuesday, I got disconnected from Facebook and couldn't sign back in using what I thought was my password. When I tried to reset my password, the system had incorrect info like my old phone number and email. After updating my info, I tried to retrieve a code from trusted contacts, but when I submitted it, I got an error message saying I tried too often. Now, I'm locked out of all my Facebook accounts and games.

My Facebook account is being accessed from various locations/states that I'm unfamiliar with. I want to inform Facebook so they can look into it to determine whether it's a system error or if someone is legitimately accessing my account. A friend experienced a similar issue last month, where multiple logins led to her being hacked and subsequently stalked. She involved the police, revealing that several individuals had breached her account and obtained personal information. While I've also reported this to the authorities, I'd like Facebook to investigate to ascertain whether it's a system glitch or unauthorized access. Kindly provide assistance on this matter. Thank you.

I am experiencing a frustrating issue with Facebook disabling my accounts repeatedly. Despite several attempts to create an account, they keep getting disabled even before I can use them. None of my acquaintances have encountered this problem. I am unsure why I am facing this issue, preventing me from having an active Facebook account. Shortly after creating an account, Facebook prompts me to upload a photo, but within a few days of reviewing, they disable the account. This cycle makes it challenging for me to successfully create a Facebook account. I am seeking a resolution to this matter promptly.

Hello, I am Nurbanu Ahmed. I have been trying to contact advisers for two weeks regarding my blocked Marketplace account. Unfortunately, the advisers I have spoken to have been unhelpful and rude, except for a lady named Belinda who was very accommodating. I have been facing issues with my account being blocked from selling items, which is distressing as I strive to keep my customers satisfied. It seems someone may be maliciously targeting me by repeatedly reporting me and even hacking my PayPal and blacklisting my phone. I am eager to resolve this matter as soon as possible. Please reach out to me at your earliest convenience to assist in unblocking my account and addressing the situation. You can find my name on Facebook as Nur Banu and my email below. Thank you, Nurbanu

A few years ago, I deactivated my Facebook account, intending to deactivate it permanently. Recently, I've been receiving updates for the supposedly deactivated profile. I attempted to log back in but found my password changed. Today, I received an email stating my account was unlocked, but the verification process is inaccessible. The old phone number linked to the account is outdated, and I don't recognize the friends added to the account since it was reactivated. I do not wish to have a Facebook account, and someone is falsely using my old one. I urgently request the removal of this profile. The imposter is using my email address and real name (Karen Doonan), affecting my professional reputation as a writer. The profile displays a Crystal Skull photo, something I am no longer affiliated with. Your prompt assistance in resolving this distressing issue is appreciated.

I recently purchased an iPhone 6 in June [redacted] and logged out of my Messenger and Facebook accounts on my previous Lenovo Android phone. However, when I attempted to log in on my new iPhone, I received a message stating that my account is temporarily unavailable. Following the instructions to log in through a computer browser or my old phones did not resolve the issue. Each login attempt resulted in an error message. Even after using a friend's phone, the problem persisted. Despite my account being visible to friends, I cannot access it. This has been an ongoing issue since December [redacted]. I urgently need to recover my account as it contains important documents and files saved in my groups and messages.

I recently created a Facebook account after being off the platform for two years. I reluctantly rejoined to connect with school and expat groups as I'm moving to a new country. Surprisingly, Facebook locked me out without any explanation, demanding a photo for verification. Despite two weeks passing, I'm unable to access my account or contact Facebook for assistance. It's frustrating to receive notifications of messages I can't read. As someone familiar with GDPR, I find their request for personal data unjustified without offering account recovery options. I simply need access to my account to engage with the relevant groups to facilitate my move. My intention isn't to share personal information or add friends, only to communicate with other parents. I request an explanation and prompt resolution to this issue. The lack of communication is unacceptable in today's digital age.

I haven't downloaded your messenger app, yet I keep getting notifications on my wall about posts from friends and family that I'm not interested in. Despite contacting you numerous times over the past year about this issue, the unnecessary notifications persist. I prefer to send texts and make calls from my phone and have no intention of using the messenger app. I have already turned off notifications for all my contacts on messenger, but I continue to receive these unwanted notifications. If this problem with irrelevant notifications persists, I will have to reach out to the FCC to address these bothersome notifications from your messenger app.

I am requesting help from Facebook regarding a concerning situation. There is a Facebook account under the name Mariah McCart which actually belongs to Marian Foran. On this account, my personal information, including my home address, real name, and photo, has been shared with the intent to harass me and my family. Additionally, a post on the Mariah McCart account references me by my unique first name in connection to an article titled "10 signs you’re dealing with a crazy person" accompanied by photos of my eyes. The situation escalated when she publicly shared my home address, compromising our safety due to the nature of our jobs. Prior to this, she had also posted my photo on an inappropriate website after I had expressed concerns about her behavior at events I host. I have reported this to Facebook, and I am in need of assistance to address this matter promptly. Thank you for your attention to this issue. Sincerely, Martha Lynn Fazio.

I am urgently requesting Facebook's assistance to address a concerning situation involving an individual using the name Mariah McCart, possibly belonging to Marian Foran. Both names have active Facebook accounts. Mariah McCart posted my personal information including my home address, real name, and photo, which has caused distress for myself and my family. She shared an article titled "10 signs you're dealing with a crazy person," implying it refers to me, along with pictures of my eyes. This has been distressing for me, as my unique first name makes it obvious it relates to me. After reporting this to Facebook, Mariah McCart retaliated by sharing my unlisted home address, posing a significant safety risk. In the past, she also uploaded my photo to an inappropriate website. This all stems from disagreements related to events I host, where I politely suggested she find a different group that aligns better with her interests. Your prompt attention to this matter is greatly appreciated. Thank you, Martha Lynn F.

I had a Facebook account under the email [redacted], which I deactivated. Recently, I wanted to promote my new business on Facebook and created a new account under [redacted] for a professional page. After using it for just an hour, I was asked to confirm my identity by providing a picture of myself, which I did with my profile picture. However, when checking back today, I found that my account had been disabled, and I don't know why. I've been struggling for two months to get this account up and running, but I keep getting pushed out.

I created a Facebook account, and it seems someone is using it without my permission to send messages. I haven't authorized anyone to access my account. Some individuals pretending to be friends may have posted illegal content. If this email issue persists, I may have to take legal action. It appears hackers are causing conflict between my family and friends. This ongoing harassment needs to stop, and I will involve legal counsel to address this situation. My family and I feel targeted, and I suspect Facebook may be involved. Consequently, I want all communication with my father on Facebook to cease.

My name is Galen Linder. My email is [redacted] My account was disabled, and I'm unsure of the reason. I believe I have followed all terms of service on FB. I mainly share international news articles in groups, always making sure they are appropriate. I have even reported inappropriate content. Please review my account to verify. My goal is to contribute to meaningful discussions on FB by sharing important news not widely covered. I seek clarity on why my account was disabled. If I unknowingly broke any rules, I apologize and am willing to rectify the issue. I appreciate your prompt response.

My Facebook account seems to have been deleted as it no longer appears in searches or Google results. The login details are not working, and the find my account feature does not load when using my email and phone number. Even though the disabled account appeal states that my login methods are not linked to a disabled account, I am unable to access it. This is problematic because my private account was linked to my business's public page, and I can no longer connect with my customers or advertise. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I recently noticed that my comment about the Saudi Regime was removed by Community Standards. It seems we are not allowed to label a government as murderous, even when there is strong evidence of human rights violations. I wonder if mentioning historical atrocities, like the Nazi regime under Hitler, would also be considered hate speech. I'm concerned that my account may be flagged for spreading hate speech, though all I did was express facts supported by the CIA. It's disheartening to feel like my freedom of speech was infringed upon, especially after witnessing so much divisive rhetoric during the recent election. I strive for peaceful dialogue and do not harbor hate towards anyone, but I stand by calling out actions for what they are. Will there be consistency in addressing hate speech across the platform, including from authoritative sources like the CIA? I'd appreciate guidance on how to regain access to my Facebook account.
