The issue in GetHuman-jonfreed's own words
I recently saw an article on the Internet saying that Mrs. Zuckerberg created a marvelous product called Wrinkle Couture, and that one could obtain a sample by just paying the shipping charges. Relying on who she is, I blindly ordered the product. I never saw or received an invoice. To my surprise I received not only the Wrinkle Cream but a product called Eye Couture – for which I was also billed the shipping charges. Customarily I do not receive a Bank Statement, but for the first time had requested one for another reason. I then learned I had been billed for two of each of the products – which I did receive. I was billed for the Eye Couture because I did not say I did not want it, not because I said I wanted it. I never ordered it. This to me is devious on the part of the Seller. *I have in the past ordered items on the internet and the Sellers always provided an invoice for final approval before activating the transaction. This was not done in this case, and I now believe it was not done on purpose, as the majority of Buyers like myself would not read the Terms and Conditions in that they would be relying on the fact that this was a product of Mrs. Zuckerberg - and she would certainly not scam anyone. I made two calls to the shipping company seeking reimbursement and managed to obtain a minor and unsatisfactory adjustment. I still feel that I was scammed because I never received or saw an invoice – which would have caused me to cancel immediately. I believe the Seller was counting on that happening. This leads me to further believe that the sales are not being reported to the IRS. Before contacting them I decided to write to you to see if you would voluntarily rectify this situation before the Media gets hold of it.*I would appreciate your looking into the matter and reimbursing me in full. *Sincerely,*Jonathan Freed
