The issue in GetHuman-adonhr's own words
I bought a item on the Facebook yard sale site. I had recently set up a PayPal acct linked to Face Book. I had used it witout a problem a few times. I asked this person if they had PayPal so I could pay her for the item and she could mail it to me since she lived over * hours away. She said yes so I did the usual thing I always did clicked on pay and then it wanted me to confirm. I thought once I confirmed I would put in the persons email address link to their PayPal account but it just said that she had until October **th to except. I told her I had paid and I messaged my address to her. Later she messaged me back and said the payment had not gone into her account and that she had not received my address. So I screenshot my previous messages which showed I had paid and it was pending on her now and also I had sent my address. Anyway she was having problems. I told her she had time to set up Paypal through Facebook. Then I got another message that she sent requesting payment so I clicked on it thinking she had gotten them linked. But I got a pop up that said my bank administrator had blocked the payment and when it left the screen I saw another payment pending with a different time limit on accepting it. Anyway she finally told me that she can't get into her PayPal account to see if she got it or not. I couldn't get into my bank account online to see what it happened (this was on Saturday). I messaged her and told her I couldn't get into my bank account and I would have to wait until Monday. I was able to get into my bank account early Monday and I saw that the amount has been taken out. But she says she still can't get into her account to see if she got it or not. So I asked the bank to just put a stop on it but they said they couldn't because it is my debit card. I called PayPal. They said there was no transaction going through for $*** which was the amount I had clicked on to pay. So now my question is do you have record of the payment. I have the complete conversation between her and I to prove everything I have said. I am going to the bank today to fill out paperwork for a fraud investigation. In the meantime it would be great if you could let me know what you can find out on your end. The amount is $*** and it was for a used Samsung Galaxy S* active phone.
