The issue in GetHuman-leahmpcu's own words
I created a Facebook page for my Instagram blog, before I even began posting. I did not realise that Instagram would create it's own page for my account. I now want to use Instagram ads, but cannot do it with the page I originally created, I can only do it with the one Instagram created. The problem with that is that I've already established a following on the one I created. So I tried to merge the two pages, I did everything right. I put them both under the same "Business Manager," and I am the only admin for both. BUT when I go to merge the two pages it says that it can't be done because they aren't similar names. So I of course went to go switch the name of the IG created page, and it was immediately denied saying my requested name "doesn't follow our Page guidelines." *Can you see the catch **? I need to merge the two pages, but in order to do so I must change the name. But I cannot change the name because of some unlisted reason or another. *I merely want to spend my money and promote my photos on Instagram, but I'm being stopped at every point by its parent company. It's more than frustrating. **For reference:*The facebook page that I created and have followers and content on is called "Pocket Squares & Pearls" its url is @pocketsquaresandpearls.*The facebook page that I want to merge with and eventually delete was created by Instagram and is called "Leah M. Cunningham". **Thank you in advance for your assistance.
