I am currently experiencing difficulty accessing my account due to having two accounts. Every time I input the information for my active account, the system logs me into an empty one. Unfortunately, the "search for your account" feature is not visible, making it even harder to locate the correct account. Even after trying to search using my friends' names, the system fails to recognize my account existence despite its long history on Facebook. I am frustrated and plan to delete all my accounts once I regain access. The account in question has the name Morgan Freeman and displays a profile photo of me wearing a black and purple hoodie. Despite numerous attempts using different numbers and emails associated with my main account, I keep getting logged into the inactive one that I have not used for about a year.

I've set up two-step verification on my account, but when I traveled abroad, I couldn't access it. Now that I'm back, I forgot both my Facebook and email passwords and my phone number is outdated. The alternate phone number I added is a landline, unable to receive texts, which Facebook keeps sending. I need help regaining access to my account. If the team can alter my phone verification method to phone calls instead of texts, I should be able to log in without further trouble.

To whom it may concern, I have been unable to access my account for a few weeks now. My phone, where I had the app, is broken, and I cannot remember my password. I have followed all the recovery steps provided: reaching out to my trusted contacts, updating my email and phone number, and even submitted a photo of myself with a handwritten code. Despite these efforts, I keep receiving error messages stating my request cannot be processed at the moment. The system provides various reasons for the issue, making it challenging to regain access. While I understand the need for security measures, the extent of the verification process, such as requesting my marriage license and driver's license for a name change, feels excessive and intrusive. Recently, I encountered issues with my app notifications. After trying to reset my password due to the 4-digit code requirement I wasn't aware of, I faced continuous difficulties. Every time I receive a 6-digit code via email, it states that I've attempted it too many times. Furthermore, the app claims there are no members with my name on Facebook when I attempt to reset the password. I urgently need access to my account since I can't even find my friends or the event I planned for my daughter's upcoming birthday party. Despite numerous attempts to contact Facebook for assistance, I haven't received any help or made progress in recovering my account. Good morning, my name is Melissa Lightfoot from Port St. Lucie, Florida. Approximately three weeks ago, my Facebook account was unexpectedly deactivated. I was instructed to provide verification documents, which I promptly submitted, including my driver's license and membership card from BJ, a wholesale food sales club. I have been an active Facebook user since [redacted]. It has been three weeks since I was last able to access my account. I request your assistance in resolving the issue that led to my account being disabled. I suspect it may be related to the fact that I only had my first name as "m e l" and "Issa" as my last name, instead of my full last name. I attempted to log in to my account from my laptop but forgot my password. After changing it, I faced a security check because it appeared my account was hacked due to the login attempt from my laptop. I provided my driving license per the instructions for proof, but there is a discrepancy in my surname - "Chambyal" on the license and "Chambial" on my Facebook account. I have been using Facebook for about 10 years now, mainly with my grandchildren's assistance. I initially used Yahoo Mail until my husband gifted me an Acer Chromebook five years ago, prompting me to switch to Gmail. However, I encountered issues accessing my old Facebook account. Subsequently, my grandchild created a new Facebook profile for me, and I started getting more comfortable using the platform until I got locked out. In an attempt to reconnect with old friends, I tried adding my maiden name to one of my accounts, which might have caused some confusion. Recently, my husband received an email forwarded from Facebook by our grandson, prompting me to reconnect with him. Now, I find myself locked out for the third time. I am experiencing issues with my Facebook account. It has been disabled, and I am unable to perform basic functions such as searching, finding friends or groups, adding friends, and accessing payment information. The notification regarding ads and payment information is unclear to me as the only uploads I have are images and promos from FineArt America, which I didn't realize could be seen as ads. I need help accessing my Facebook account. It was hacked last Friday, and I am unable to log in. I would like to explain my situation regarding my ex-husband who is posting wedding pictures and giving marriage advice on Facebook, deceiving people that we are still together. Despite being divorced since April [redacted], he continues to ignore a protection order by reopening his old Facebook account to harass me. I have changed my name on Facebook to stay in touch with close friends, but he is trying to manipulate and deceive people, including promising me his love and seeking ways to contact me despite the abusive past in our relationship. I am worried for the safety of my child and others, as he portrays himself as a preacher and pastor while engaging in inappropriate and deceitful behavior. On Monday, September 24th, I received a message with a video link. After opening the message (but not the link), my phone malfunctioned, and I was logged out of Facebook and Messenger. In response, I submitted a photo of myself holding a code and received several emails containing 6-digit codes to reset my password. Despite my attempts to regain access, each time I think I've solved the issue, I receive a pop-up indicating that a verification code has been sent to my phone via SMS. However, I never added my phone number to my Facebook account. While this step seems suspicious to me, it is necessary to receive the verification code. I'm unsure how to proceed in this situation and would deeply appreciate any clear and concise assistance offered.

However, the account remained closed. Due to an unintended mistake, I accidentally created a new account with the same number and password as the old locked account. Once I realized the error, I promptly deleted the new account. Dear Facebook, I am writing to express my concern about the disturbing videos that are becoming more prevalent on your platform. Recently, I encountered a video where a woman was being violently attacked and eventually killed by two individuals. Despite my attempts to exit the video, I was unable to do so as Facebook did not allow me to leave. Additionally, I came across a video where a person attached a firework to a dog's tail, which was not considered animal abuse by Facebook upon reporting. These incidents are deeply troubling, and they have made me question my use of Facebook. While I value the app for connecting with friends, the increase in such graphic content is unacceptable. If this issue is not addressed promptly, I may have no other option but to delete my account. I urge Facebook to take action to prevent such videos from circulating on the platform to protect users from such distressing content. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

On 9-12 & 9-13-[redacted], my accounts were hacked, including my Facebook, Google, and Yahoo. Although I managed to secure my Google and Yahoo, my Facebook account remains compromised, holding precious memories and saved items. I provided Facebook with my ID proofs, including a photo with my ID as requested. I believed I was close to regaining access after receiving an email, but then was informed my account was deactivated. Despite my efforts, I am unable to reactivate it.
