I recently deactivated my account using my Gaelic name for privacy. The email linked to the account was a university email that got disabled when I left. I tried to recover the account using my daughter's email, as my university email has now been reactivated since I returned to school. Facebook now wants me to provide documents with my legal name, which doesn't match the Gaelic name on the account, and I'm uncomfortable sharing such personal documents. The account has important pictures I need to retrieve. I'll provide an alternative email to verify this request officially.

As a commercial photographer, I am eager to use Instagram and Facebook for targeted advertising. Despite having a budget for this, I am struggling to obtain the necessary permissions. My wife, Sara, set up the account at [redacted], and I am lost on how to resolve this issue. Unfortunately, I have mistakenly created and deleted pages in an attempt to resolve this. Sara and I have both tried to designate me as an administrator or editor, but I am unable to navigate this process effectively. Hello, I'm experiencing an issue with my account displaying my wife's name, Sanghammitra Bhowmik, and it's causing difficulties for me. The profile picture is mine, but the name is incorrect. I used to use a Samsung Galaxy J7 Next, but due to it being stolen, I temporarily used my wife's Redmi 4, where she has her Facebook account. I also logged into my account from that phone using my email. I now have a new Vivo Y81, but after downloading Facebook, I'm facing the mentioned problem and can't use the app. I kindly request assistance to rectify this issue. Hello, I am Caustin Sutton, the Social Media Director at Banton Media, a marketing company located in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Yesterday, a client requested that I add admins and editors to their Facebook business page. However, I faced an issue while trying to do so. When I accessed 'settings' and then 'page roles', instead of profile pictures, I saw a shield with a star inside it next to the user's name and page role. In the 'Assign A New Page Role' section, it prompts me to "Enter email or business user's name", but unfortunately, it does not work as expected. This is the first time I've encountered such a problem after going through this process multiple times before. I would appreciate any assistance in resolving this issue. Also, if there's a way for me to receive notifications about updates and changes to Facebook business pages, please advise. Thank you.

My Facebook account has been locked, and I'm unable to follow the instructions to regain access. Whenever I try to fix it, the loading symbol appears, but the pages fail to load. Many others have reported similar issues, and I urge you to resolve this matter. I believe you can easily unlock accounts experiencing problems. There are instances of bullying, abuse, threats, and illicit activities on the platform, yet those accounts remain active. On the other hand, users like me face account blocks for no apparent reason. Facebook needs to address these issues before users seek alternative platforms. I've never encountered problems like this on Twitter, which is why many are now switching from Facebook. Please consider unlocking my account as it shouldn't be this complicated!

Dear community members, I wanted to share that I temporarily deactivated my Facebook account on the morning of 14th September [redacted] around 8:30 am Sri Lanka time. However, when I tried to log back in later that day at approximately 5:30 pm Sri Lanka time, I encountered issues accessing my account. When I attempted to log in using my phone number, I received a message stating that the phone number does not match any account. Likewise, when I tried to log in using my email address, I received a message that the email address does not match any account. I would appreciate it if someone could assist me with resolving this matter as my account contains valuable pictures and contacts. I keep getting locked out of Facebook for no legitimate reason, resulting in being put in "Facebook jail." This has occurred twice in the past four days, disrupting my work as I heavily rely on the platform. Despite my longstanding use of Facebook without previous issues, I am considering switching to another messaging app for contacting my colleagues due to the frustration caused by these unwarranted restrictions on my account. It's disheartening and unnecessary as I have not violated any terms or guidelines. During the middle of the summer, I received several emails informing me of a potential hack, with instant messaging being the suspected cause. Upon investigating online, I discovered two accounts linked to my name, one of which was not created by me and listed a different birthdate. I have never used instant messaging with my original Facebook account. I had initially disabled the accounts, thinking I had resolved the issue temporarily. Now I need to permanently delete the incorrect account. Additionally, I am seeking guidance on preventing future hacks and informing those who alerted me that the situation has been resolved and they can trust my genuine account.

My school business page for our special needs cheer team has been compromised. Intruders keep posting a photo of a truck for sale. This incident occurred on Thursday. Although I removed the photo in the morning, I received messages in Spanish throughout the day. Upon checking my bank account on Friday, I discovered multiple unauthorized purchases made via Facebook. Consequently, I have deactivated that account. Today, the photo resurfaced, each time showing as posted by me, when it clearly is not. This prevents me from reporting it as fake. The same photo appeared on my hair styling business page on Thursday, garnering shares due to the perceived offer on the truck. Even after deletion, the photo continues to circulate, with messages reaching me. An email address linked to the photo was unhelpful when contacted, dismissing it as a glitch. I suspect deception. Urgent action is needed to address this issue as I aim to avoid closing all accounts. Any assistance would be appreciated.

I created a Facebook account with the names Abhishek Singh or Amresh Kumar and the email [redacted] I used it for some time until I couldn't access it multiple times. I then made a new account, which I now use and prefer. Recently, I managed to reopen the first account, but the data and messages were missing, even though others can still view it. To avoid confusion, I deactivated the first account again. However, when people search for my new account, they still find the first one, causing confusion. I want a clear path for people to contact my new account without any mix-up. I urgently need to permanently close and delete all activities and data associated with the first account. My Messenger was compromised on Thursday, September 20th in the evening. Despite reporting the issue through Messenger, I did not receive any response. I have now learned that one of my contacts has fallen victim to a scam and lost money. The hacker gained unauthorized access to my Messenger account and proceeded to send messages to all my contacts, posing as me. As soon as I became aware of this, I took action by posting a message on Facebook and changing my password. However, I continued to experience being logged out of Facebook and observed that some of my friends had been blocked by the hacker. I am worried about the personal information the hacker may have and am troubled by the situation with the contact who lost £[redacted]. Could you please provide guidance on how to report this criminal activity to Facebook and inquire whether there are any protections in place to assist victims of such crimes?

I'm frustrated by the identity politics on Facebook and demand that my account be free from political attacks on conservatives. Stop disabling accounts that don't align with your views. In America, we have freedom of speech, something liberals use during protests. Many people use profanity, but I don't. This censoring and shadow banning by companies like Facebook, Twitter, and Google is immature. People should be able to express themselves without being silenced. Let's respect each other's opinions and coexist peacefully without harassment.

I'm experiencing issues accessing my account after being locked out. Despite changing my password, I'm unable to verify my device due to a code requirement. Strangely, it doesn't recognize any of my familiar devices. Although I updated my phone number on Facebook, the code generator only sends to a mysterious number on my account. Even submitting my driver's license as verification failed. I urgently need assistance as I fear losing precious photos and contacts. This is my third request for help, as my account was hacked. The individual in question has been using a private Facebook account for years to promote his business, which violates Facebook's Terms and Conditions as it is not a business account. Furthermore, he advertises products as ‘new’ or ‘immaculate,’ although they are actually recycled items purchased from his ads for broken or unwanted appliances. It is crucial to note that he has two restraining orders for sexual offenses and a criminal record related to these offenses. Despite this, he continues to target single mothers through Facebook, gaining access to their homes. I implore guidance on who to contact to immediately suspend/delete his account to prevent further harm to vulnerable individuals. I had quite the week! Yesterday, during a LIVE session in my Facebook group, my daughter got sick, and I had to end the video abruptly. After taking care of her, I went back live to make my announcements, but the tagging feature wasn't working. I tried to tag everyone in a picture but received an error message saying I was blocked from using the feature for going too fast. I am unsure why I have been blocked for around 5 days now. I assure you that I am not a spammer. I value integrity and enjoy staying connected with family and friends while learning valuable information on various topics like music, medical, natural health on Facebook. I have attempted to log in, but I keep receiving a message about securing my account and changing my password, which I am unable to do as I can't remember my current password. Hello Facebook, can you please unblock me? I received a message stating there were security concerns and followed the instructions provided on your Facebook page. It asked me to secure my account by changing my password, but I couldn't remember my old password despite having it for years. If there was an option to reset it using the "Forgot Password" link, I would have done so. I have been unable to access my account for 5 days now and miss connecting with my family and friends. Please unblock my account as I am not a spammer and enjoy using Facebook for various purposes. Thank you. - B.H.

My Facebook account got locked, and they requested my ID to verify my age. After I sent it, I received an email confirming that everything was resolved, but my account is still locked. Whenever I try to log in, I'm asked to verify my age again. Despite their email inviting me to ask questions, I've sent replies explaining the issue multiple times with no response.

I have been struggling with an issue for the past two days. I am on the verge of losing all my Facebook memories and photos because Facebook is not sending me an SMS verification code. I have been using my Android phone solely for Facebook for over a year, never logged in from any other device. When I tried reinstalling the Facebook and Messenger apps, it prompted for account verification with a code sent via text, which I never received despite multiple attempts. I have followed all suggestions from Facebook and other sites, even contacting customer service, but to no avail.
