My Facebook account has been temporarily locked, requiring me to verify my identity. Initially, the continue button was unresponsive. I attempted to reset my password, but the account remained locked. Following this, the continue button started working, allowing me to identify my friends from pictures. However, an error message appeared, indicating that Facebook was fixing an issue. Despite trying various methods, including changing the password multiple times, I was unable to regain access, to the point where my account cannot be found by others. Repeatedly following Facebook's instructions led me to a recurring "Something went wrong" page. I urgently need help recovering this account, as it contains precious photos of my daughter from birth until now, along with important contacts and friends. I feel desperate as I have exhausted my options and do not know what to do next.

I believe I have the right to use a nickname instead of my real name, and I wish to maintain this practice. Throughout my time on Facebook, I have not engaged in disrespectful behavior, used my account for advertising, or conducted any business activities. I value my privacy settings and wish to maintain them without alterations. Changing my name could result in several other accounts becoming inaccessible, as they are linked to this account. I believe my account has been compromised. I noticed an unauthorized login from California, US on my Security tab. The page's language was switched from English to Spanish. Although I have updated my password and enabled two-factor authentication, I was surprised to find a page created under my name with an active ad account holding a balance of 10 Peruvian Nuevo Sol (PEN) linked to a PagoEfectivo card. The suspicious activity took place on September 16, [redacted], at 6:09 AM (Peru Time). I promptly removed the page and disabled the ad account. I wonder if there are additional steps I can take to prevent this situation from occurring again and to determine whether the breach was due to a flaw in my security practices or on your end.

On Friday, September 14, [redacted], around 3:30, I experienced issues with my account. I received a message stating my session had expired, prompting me to log back in. After struggling with my password, I reset it. Subsequently, I was asked to verify my account by submitting a file. I provided a profile picture as requested, and was then informed that they would contact me later. Following this, I received an email instructing me to send various forms of identification such as a driver's license, birth certificate, or bank statement, which seemed suspicious. I am unable to access my Facebook or Messenger accounts, leading me to believe I have been hacked. This is particularly distressing as I mainly use these platforms on my phone for school, work, and keeping in touch with family and friends. Additionally, I am receiving notifications meant for my daughter, despite not being connected with her on the platform. This situation is quite unsettling. I kindly request assistance in recovering my Facebook account.

However, I am unable to access my account as the password is not working, and when I try to reset it, I do not receive any SMS on my phone. I used a phone number, not an email, to open this account. I am having trouble accessing my account under the name Jeffrey Azim Hawkins. The email linked to the account is [redacted] with the password Smokey123$. Unfortunately, I am unable to log in to this account which contains important information like contacts from work and information about my children. I do not want to create a new account. The only way I can retrieve a new code is through my new email on my new phone. I wish to change the password to regain access to my original account under the name Jeffrey Azim Hawkins. I recently received a new phone from AT&T, the Samsung Android S8 Active. After my old phone died, I tried to log into Facebook without success. Despite trying to change my password using various methods like my Facebook identity as Kenneth LeBlanc, my phone numbers ([redacted]), and my email accounts ([redacted] & [redacted]), Facebook did not recognize any of them. When attempting to create a new account with my phone number, I received an email indicating that it was already associated with an existing account. Frustrated, I have been working on this issue for two days. I was able to access my active Facebook page through my wife's account. I can be contacted at [redacted] via call or text. This experience has been incredibly frustrating, and I hope to resolve it soon.

Hi Support, My name is Andreea Carp. Recently, my iPhone 6S experienced software failure. The staff at an iPhone store helped me reinstall the software, but I lost all my apps, including Facebook. After discontinuing a split test early to adjust an image on my A creative ad, my ad page got unpublished. I replaced the picture, but the ad preview failed to load, indicating it did not comply with Facebook guidelines. Even after reverting to the original picture, the issue persisted. Trying to resolve it, I deleted the ad and started a new one, only to encounter a message stating I had no active Facebook pages to run the ad. Upon checking, my business page was indeed unpublished. Despite reviewing Facebook guidelines, I believe my website and ads are compliant. I specialize in selling Halloween-themed baby onesies, which will soon require advertising. My wife's account was blocked on Friday. She's been trying to verify the account, but when she clicks "Continue," the page doesn't respond. We also attempted to send an application for account verification but encountered errors because the email provided doesn't match her original email linked to the Facebook account. On Thursday morning, I accessed Facebook without any issues. However, when I arrived at work, I couldn't log in as it kept prompting me to do so. I repeatedly attempted to log in using my password but was unsuccessful. Changing the password also proved to be a challenge, requiring me to navigate through various verification processes. I am seeking assistance with my wife Ewelina Ondycz's blocked Facebook account. Her email is [redacted], the only login she uses for Facebook. Her account was blocked on Friday. I have been using my Facebook account for several years. While attempting to update and remove some unwanted information from my profile, I accidentally temporarily deleted my account around the end of July or beginning of August [redacted]. Despite following all the steps you suggested to recover my account, I have been unsuccessful. I even tried the option of having three friends provide codes, but I received a message indicating that I had attempted too many times. Facebook is crucial to me for various reasons, especially because I recently connected with my new family through Ancestry DNA. Sadly, I cannot recall the phone number or password I used when I first created the account as they were automatically saved and never required for login. How can I restore access to my Facebook account promptly? I am unable to reach out to most of my friends and family members without it.

I am locked out of my recently created Facebook account. I made one account but got locked out before completing it. Immediately I made another account without adding any personal information. Both accounts had the same picture, causing confusion. I tried to recover the first account to delete it, but then got locked out of both. I sent a picture to verify my identity but never received a response. I might create another account as I only spent about an hour on the last one. Due to no customer support and multiple email addresses, I have over 25 accounts and often forget passwords. I want to delete the two accounts I created yesterday, but Facebook's recovery process is slow. Disappointed with the lack of assistance. - Evan J.

I've had my Facebook account for several years. Being new to this, I had heard stories where others' accounts had been hacked, so I was hesitant to give my full name or number. I saved my password on my phone, and I haven't had to enter it in years. While deleting some pages on my account, I accidentally temporarily deleted it under the name "Georgia Denise" in Augusta, Georgia, or Lincolnton, Georgia. I have tried everything you recommend to retrieve my account, including having three family/friends give me a code, but I keep getting a message that I entered them too many times. I need my Facebook account immediately! This is frustrating! For a big company like Facebook, you would think there would be live customer service. Others can see my account, I can see it, but I can't use it. What is the problem? I had to make a new account, but it doesn't have my contacts, even on Messenger. What is the issue?

I was removed from a group by Kelsey F. for using inappropriate language in a post. The situation arose when Holly C. contacted me about using all caps in my post. Although the interaction was not hostile, because they are friends, I was kicked out of the group. Kelsey claimed to have connections to Mark Zuckerberg and removed me without warning. I believe Kelsey overstepped by removing me instead of addressing the initial conflict with Holly. The enforcement of group rules should align with Facebook's guidelines. The incident was subjective, and if Holly hadn't pointed it out, there wouldn't have been an issue. Kelsey's actions were unfair, especially considering the group's content often includes explicit language and topics. This personal bias should not dictate membership. While I admit my mistake, being kicked out for using a common swear word seems excessive. I urge Facebook to ensure fair treatment for all members in similar situations.

I would like to report Benoit Forest residing in Thouars, FR, for harassing my 80-year-old mother who is battling cancer and my friends. He has been persistently contacting them with false information and intimidating behavior. Benoit is known to have alcohol dependency and long-standing mental health issues. Despite blocking him on Facebook, he continues to reach out to my contacts, making me feel threatened. I urge Facebook to take action to prevent him from contacting me, my family, and friends, as this situation is causing significant distress.

I am seeking assistance regarding an individual named Benoit Forest who resides in Thouars, France, and has been harassing my friends and my mother, who is unwell with cancer. This person persistently attempts to communicate false and inappropriate information to my contacts. Benoit, who has a history of alcoholism and mental health issues spanning over a decade, has even resorted to threatening me via Facebook Messenger. Despite blocking him, he continues to target my loved ones. This situation is causing me significant distress, and I feel threatened by his actions. I represent a local [redacted](c)(3) rescue organization. We recently placed a dog with a lady who initially met all adoption requirements; however, the situation has deteriorated. After attempting to retrieve the dog due to mistreatment, the lady has resorted to harmful actions. She continually reports us on Facebook with false information, harasses, and engages in libel and slander. Despite our valid reports, Facebook has been closing our rescue account while she freely posts my personal information without consequences. We seek assistance in reactivating our page and addressing her smear campaign. This vendetta, particularly by Cynthia Bonner, includes disturbing behaviors like sending deceased animals. We urge action to protect our organization and stop her harmful actions.
