My friend's Facebook account was compromised by an unknown individual who changed the name to JOHN PAUL, along with the password and phone number. We attempted Facebook's password reset procedures, but were unsuccessful due to the altered account settings by the hacker. Her phone number has been recovered, and the email associated with the account is still active. Kindly restore the account to its previous settings so we can proceed to reset the password. Username: Blessing Inetiabor Email: [redacted] Phone: [redacted]8

A few days ago, a friend received a disturbing message from an unknown person making false claims about me and sharing personal information that only we know. Concerned about a potential hack, I am worried about my Facebook account's security as the person referenced private conversations from Facebook Messenger. The individual is harassing us, leading me to seek assistance from Facebook to investigate any unauthorized access or foreign activity on my account. Additionally, my friend is receiving anonymous calls from the same source, escalating our fear for our safety given the stalker's knowledge of my routines. Local authorities traced the calls to the Middle East but could not address the Facebook security issue. We've reported this to the police, but I seek help to safeguard my privacy and prevent any further intrusion.

I received a message about suspicious activity on my account, leading to it being temporarily locked. The account recovery process requires sifting through over [redacted] posts, which is inconvenient for me as I use Facebook for personal and business purposes. I previously contacted you regarding this issue. Tasanee, I received a notification that the phone number [redacted] has been removed for Facebook text messages because the mobile service provider no longer recognizes it as valid. My new number is [redacted], but I can't update it since I am currently locked out. Can you please assist me urgently?

Hello, I am facing an issue with my Instagram account. I usually log in with Facebook, but suddenly I was logged out and unable to reconnect. Upon trying to access it, I discovered that my account now has a different ID and email linked to it. I did not change any login details. Someone seems to have taken over my account, using my personal photos and data without permission. My previously private profile is now public, exposing my private pictures. My account was previously under the ID "thomasdnk," but it has been changed to "mikatharper" by the hacker. It was originally linked to my Facebook profile at facebook.com/thomis.dancar. I am seeking help to recover my account and can provide evidence such as shared pictures on both Instagram and Facebook and my government-issued ID card to verify ownership. Best regards, Thomas.

I have had a Facebook account since around [redacted] with the email address [redacted] However, I got a new iPhone 8 after my old iPhone 5S stopped working, and I could not access my account due to it being a new device. I created a new account named Guynelle Wood Randle to stay in touch with friends and support groups. I am unsure if the connected email is [redacted] or [redacted] I am locked out of both accounts and need help to regain access, preferably to the older account. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thank you, Guynelle W. Randle.

My ex has compromised my Facebook account after stealing my phone, resulting in the account being disabled. I reported the theft to Sprint a month ago (case number [redacted]). His harassment has escalated, including threats made to myself and my current partner. In the process of replacing the stolen phone at a cost of over $[redacted], I discovered that his old number was linked to the new device received. Upon exploring, I found that he accessed my messages. Although I did not post on his behalf, I did inform him that I had viewed his messages. Subsequently, he gained unauthorized access to my Facebook account, presumably using knowledge of my security information stored on the stolen phone. I received an email stating that my account has been disabled due to violations, which I suspect he caused by posting inappropriate content while impersonating me. His name is Derek Q., but he operates under the alias Everett M. I am devastated as I lost vital memories and connections, including the inability to add my late mother as a friend. His actions have caused financial harm, tarnishing my credit and resulting in the repossession of my car. I have an active business account under Shaina L. I am considering legal action if this behavior continues. Any assistance in recovering my account would be greatly appreciated. You can reach me at [redacted] Thank you for your attention to this matter.

My account was compromised years ago, making it impossible for me to access the linked email. Despite keeping it active to access my photos, it's now impacting my job search as unrelated negative content is being posted on my wall. This is particularly concerning as I am applying for positions in city, state, and federal departments. Unable to remove the content or delete the account due to the outdated associated email, even attempts at recovery have failed. I can provide proof of ownership and am seeking assistance to resolve this issue, as it is affecting my future and career prospects significantly. The account in question is Becky Ferranti, and the old FB associated email is [redacted] Thank you for your attention, and I look forward to resolving this matter promptly.

I updated my email address and got locked out of my account. I've been trying to reach out to your company for a year without success. I need to delete my account and all my personal information from it. I can verify my identity easily. If I don't hear back from you by mail at [redacted] South Washington Ave [redacted] Saint Peter, MN [redacted], addressed to Ms. B. Kramer, or by phone at [redacted], I will consider legal action for invasion of privacy. My family photos are on there, and I'm unable to delete them or access them, putting us at risk. I need access to my page with my copyrighted content, as you only have partial rights. Your policy of selling pages and denying us the ability to end our contract is unacceptable. Please send a formal letter outlining the terms and why I can't retrieve my information and protect my family. My email is [redacted]

Good evening, I encountered an issue on Wednesday, September 5, [redacted], where my account was compromised due to a password change notification received via email on my phone. Unfortunately, I cannot recall my old email password preventing me from resetting my account password. I've added a new email to my account, of which I know the password, but due to creating my account when I was young, I no longer have access to the original phone number to receive the verification code. The primary reason I am desperate to regain access to my Facebook account is that it contains precious pictures of my adopted son, daughter, and deceased family members. I would greatly appreciate any assistance in resolving this matter. Thank you, Cindy G.

I manage a business account for Color Theory Tattoo on Facebook. Recently, a customer brought a service dog, and we asked to reschedule for a private room due to health code regulations. The customer insisted it was against the law, became aggressive, and we had to ask him to leave. He later had friends leave negative reviews and bully other clients. We have recordings refuting their claims. Can we remove these false reviews? We can provide names for verification. It's unfair for one person and their friends to harm our reputation. Please advise on the next steps. Contact me at [redacted] or [redacted]. Thank you.

I used to run a Facebook business page selling "Rick and Morty" merchandise, unknowingly infringing on Cartoon Network's copyright. My personal account has now been banned due to receiving multiple copyright strikes on the business page. I find it frustrating that Facebook support is unresponsive, leaving me unable to contact friends and family worldwide. Despite Cartoon Network only requesting the content removal from the business account, my personal account remains banned. I believe it was unfair to receive strikes without much information on posts made almost a year ago. I am seeking access to my personal account as I value it more for personal connections than the business page.

Hello, I am reaching out regarding my cousin's Facebook account problem. He resides in Syria and asked for my help due to language barriers. Last Friday, he encountered difficulty logging in with his usual email, [redacted], and password as he was informed the email was unrecognized. I attempted to log in using his username ziad.esmaeel and the alleged password but was informed the password had been changed that same day, which he denies. Unfortunately, the recovery email is inaccessible as it was set up by a friend he's lost touch with. Despite trying all suggested methods to regain access, with no success, my cousin treasures this account for sentimental reasons and is eager to recover it. He vaguely recalls setting up a security phrase like 'ابجد هوز' during the account creation. My Facebook is ram.ismail.9, and I have received WhatsApp messages from him seeking assistance, of which I am willing to provide evidence if needed. Thank you, Ram Ismail

Dear Support, I hope you are having a good day. I am writing to inform you that my Facebook business ad account has been disabled due to some security reasons. The ad account number associated with this issue is [redacted][redacted]. The reason behind the account's deactivation was an attempt to make a payment of [redacted] USD on my ads account using an incorrect Visa card. Our ad account is crucial as it is utilized for our e-commerce online store, 360Souq.com, based in the United Arab Emirates. We have been relying on this account for over 3 years now. I kindly request Facebook to reactivate my ads account promptly so that my ads can resume running. Additionally, I assure you that the outstanding payment of [redacted] USD will be settled with the correct Visa card previously linked to the account. Your swift assistance in resolving this matter is greatly appreciated. Thank you and regards, Habib Habibi

On September 6th, I received a message from my friend, Tim R., claiming to have received $80,[redacted] cash in a government grant delivered by UPS Security Personnel. He instructed me to contact their representative, Scott T., at 1-[redacted] for my share. Skeptical, I did not follow through. On September 7th, my friend, Ann G. P., who had been possibly hacked, messaged me urging to reconnect. She too shared a story of free money received and directed me to text [redacted] for details. Concerned, I realized this was a scam after receiving texts from an unknown person, Diane W., and decided to report it to Facebook. I urge Facebook to increase awareness about these scams to protect its users and prevent further fraud.

I previously had the same phone number for several years before joining Facebook at the request of a friend (Professor). We used it for quick contacts through both FB and Messenger without any issues. However, after I got a new computer hard drive, Facebook requested my phone number again. Suddenly, while reading a message on my mobile, I encountered a pop-up Text on a blue background that wouldn't go away, asking for my phone number or a code that I entered. Despite entering the code I had used for two years, it was deemed invalid. Furthermore, after receiving a verification code from Facebook that I couldn't enter anywhere, I was directed to a stranger's Facebook page. I reached out to Facebook about this issue via my email [redacted] around New Year, as I only use that email on the internet. However, I never received a response. Although I can still access my own Facebook page via the internet, it claims I don't have a Messenger account, which I know I do. For privacy reasons, I maintain a Facebook account under Eleonorah Jönsson, where Eleonorah is my second name and Jönsson my birth name. I would like to have my correct Facebook page displayed in the app, not a stranger's.

I was recently in a car accident and lost my phone at the end of July. I used the Facebook app, which was always logged in, so I can't remember my password. After attempting to log in and trying several passwords without success, I clicked on "forgot password." I tried to reset using my phone number and emails, but none of them worked. I also tried looking up my name without any luck. I even attempted various combinations of my name without success. I am wondering if there are any other options available or if Facebook can send me a password reset email. Thank you.

I received an email from Facebook stating that my mobile number 0[redacted] was registered by someone else on September 8, [redacted]. The issue is that this number is from a different country, and I cannot update it to my Japan number. Consequently, I am unable to login despite resetting my password. Even the verification emails to my registered email are not coming through. I have already provided my full name and passport ID to verify my account, but the problem remains unresolved. It seems someone has added a different mobile number to my account, causing this issue.

I first noticed the hack on Sunday, September 2, [redacted]. I tried to recover my account through text and email, but I did not receive any messages. Despite my numerous attempts, I did not receive any response on Monday. The following day, I received some emails with codes, but unfortunately, the codes were not effective. On Tuesday, two individuals informed me that they were receiving messages from my account, even though I was unable to log in. I requested them to report the issue, and eventually, my account was disabled. Another person contacted me on Wednesday, stating that they had also received messages purportedly from me and wanted to confirm if it was indeed me. I am eager to regain access to my account, given that I have close to 1,[redacted] contacts associated with it. Please provide guidance on resolving this matter. You can reach me via my email at [redacted], which is linked to my Facebook account. If you cannot reach me through these channels, please use my work email, [redacted], to advise me on the next steps to take. Thank you in advance. Tim M.

I have been using my current email address for my Facebook account for several years. Recently, it seems that my account has been linked to an old email address that I no longer have access to. I tried sending an email to that address, but it bounced back as invalid. I need help accessing my account under the name Susie Kenyon Kraus and updating the email to my current one. The old email was [redacted] and the correct one should be [redacted] It seems my current email is now linked to another Facebook account, and I just want to regain access to my original account.
