Good morning, my name is Steafh Ray Alvarez. I'm reaching out regarding an issue with my carpet cleaning services on Facebook marketplace. I've been providing these services for about 2 years without any problems until yesterday. Lately, when I try to post in groups, my submissions are automatically rejected with no clear explanation. My services don't violate any of Facebook's policies, and I rely on this platform to reach customers. I hope this matter can be reviewed promptly so I can continue serving the public and maintaining the relationships I've established.

Last Monday, my Facebook account was suddenly locked due to a phishing attack as shown in the attached screenshot. Interestingly, the same issue affected four colleagues in my office on that day. I've been attempting to secure my account, but when I click "continue," the page keeps loading without success, a problem also experienced by my colleagues. While some of them were able to log back in, myself and another colleague have been unsuccessful despite daily attempts for a whole week. This has been a significant setback as a considerable amount of my work, about 80%, relies on Facebook for advertising through my personal profile and business page, which I've also lost access to. I urgently need assistance to resolve this problem before the end of this week.

I was banned because someone called me a child, and I responded by calling them a “baby.” Later, I was reported for “harassment.” I find it unfair that I was flagged for harassment after being harassed myself. Facebook notified me that I could request a review, but there was no clear process or link provided. I feel frustrated as I have not been given a chance to defend myself or appeal the decision. When I try to engage with the platform, I receive messages accusing me of being a bully. Despite multiple attempts to address the issue through their provided link, I am met with errors and cannot reach Facebook support. It's exasperating to feel abandoned as a genuine Facebook user. If a simple retort to harassment can result in a ban, then perhaps Facebook's policies need reassessment. The situation feels absurd, reminiscent of Yossarian's struggles in Catch-22.

I used to be a member of a left-leaning group on Facebook but as the trolls' harassment escalated, I reported one for harassment successfully. However, when I posted a screenshot of the report to educate others, I was promptly blocked from posting or commenting on the page. Many others have shared similar experiences, and it seems like the page may be targeting left-leaning individuals. Even though leaving the group would be the obvious solution, many people are being affected. I hope Facebook can address this issue soon.

Today, I was banned for a post I did not create. It was titled "Those Conservative Fags." I received a ban notification, then immediately saw an attempt to log into my account from Texas, though I am in Ohio. I have posted memes before that were meant to be funny but crossed community standards. I would not use that language on Facebook now. I believe my account was hacked. I ask for a review to verify the post wasn't from me. Thank you for your attention.

Hello, I previously reached out about a technical issue regarding a promoted post on my managed Facebook page. Facebook is now stating it cannot load the promotion. I am unsure if I deleted the original post instead of hiding it, causing this problem. How can I resolve this issue and access the promotion that Facebook says is still active? I want to clarify that this is strictly a technical matter, not a customer service one as mentioned previously. After indicating in an email response to [redacted] that the problem persists, I have not received any further guidance on how to address it. The problem remains unsolved since this morning, and I am in need of assistance to find a solution.

It's frustrating to have my account locked due to suspicious activity without reaping any benefits from the advertisement. I encounter a system hang-up when trying to navigate through commerce posts since last Saturday. Unfortunately, the issue disrupted an image upload in progress. I manage personal and business accounts like Natures Design, Buggz, and Natures Design and Function Hire on Facebook, where clients reach out to me. The downtime is affecting my business, and attempting to charge me for an inaccessible ad is unacceptable. This ongoing problem is causing financial losses. I am frustrated because I don't understand why I'm being asked to pay for an advertisement that hasn't benefited me at all, especially when my account has been locked due to what you claim is suspicious activity. I have followed all the necessary steps, but when I try to post in the commerce section, the system freezes, a problem that has persisted since Saturday. When I was in the middle of uploading a picture, the system stopped working as well. For over 5 years, I have not received any emails at the address I use to log in to Facebook. Recently, after losing my password, I attempted to recover my account using the three friends verification method and my cell phone. However, when I try to look up my account using my phone number, it allows me to input a new email address. After selecting the credentials I no longer want, I click continue, but it times out. When I try to recover the account with the friends option, it indicates that the email is associated with another account (using my current and old email), and I am unable to change it. If I try entering the new email, it informs me that I have tried too many times and need to try again later. It has been two days, and there has been no change.

Hello, I have a Facebook account that I haven't accessed in a long time. It was created to manage fan pages for our group of restaurants: Harbour House, Tiger's Milk, La Parada, etc. We forgot the password and are trying to regain access. We can receive the security code at [redacted], but to secure the account, it's asking for a date of birth which we can't remember. There are no other options available, so we're currently stuck. It's crucial for us to regain access to this account since it's linked to our Grand Beach Africa FB page, and the Harbour House Account is the only admin for the Grand FB page. I have encountered several issues on Facebook that I would like to address, supported by accompanying screenshots. 1. One issue is the absence of a "share" option for my friend's posts. While he can see the share option on his own posts, others, including myself, cannot. The reason behind this inconsistency remains unclear. 2. Another problem is that when my neighbor and I tried to add each other as friends on Facebook, we were unable to see the "request friend" option on each other's pages. As a result, we could only communicate through the messenger feature. 3. Additionally, there seems to be a change regarding sharing posts with groups. Previously, I could easily share an article with a specific group directly from the article's page. However, now the option to select a specific group, like "group A" or "group B," seems to have disappeared. This alteration has made sharing content with groups more cumbersome and less convenient than before.

I recently opened a new account online and proceeded to add friends from the suggested list. Upon doing so, the platform prompted me to provide my phone number, which I entered. After re-entering my information and selecting friends again, I was then prompted to upload a photo that met the platform's criteria. Subsequently, my account was flagged as unavailable for 2 days for review by the platform. On the third day, I discovered that my account had been disabled, and despite my attempts to log in, I have been unsuccessful. I filled out a form on the customer service webpage to request reactivation of my account and submitted a scanned copy of my passport as identification (as I do not possess a driver's license). It has now been over 24 hours without any communication regarding the status of my account. - Cheryl G.

Dear Team, Two days ago while attempting to log in to my Facebook account, I encountered a message saying my session had expired, prompting me to log out. Unfortunately, I forgot my password since I typically stay logged in on my phone. I tried to reset my password, but to do so I needed a code sent to my email. The issue arose because the email linked to my account is an old Hotmail one that I closed six years ago, making it impossible to reset my password. After contacting Hotmail (Microsoft) customer service, they advised me to reach out to Facebook as they couldn't help recover my old Hotmail account. I'm wondering if it's feasible to change the email associated with my Facebook account. I find it hard to believe that there's no solution to this problem. Please reply to [redacted] Thank you, Vered

My daughter, Mandi E., has been verbally attacked on Facebook by Annette L. Ms. L. has posted hateful comments about my daughter and urged her FB friends to call my daughter's place of employment, even providing the phone number. I believe this is complete harassment and needs to be removed. We will not reach out to these people as we want to avoid more harassment. Annette L.'s daughter, Cindy T. R., has also posted untrue comments about Mandi. Although she didn't mention Mandi's name in her post, in the comments, her friends inquired and Mandi's name is now public. I trust that Facebook will take the necessary steps and remove these hurtful posts.

I had to create a personal profile page for my boss to showcase his three businesses on social media. Unfortunately, as his personal page is new and we were setting up the business pages connected to it, Facebook froze up. I requested a pin-code verification for the second business page and submitted a photo for the third business page, causing the system to freeze and deactivate itself. The Quartzsite Corner Store and Vendors on Main Street pages have been set up, and I need to finish setting up the Yacht Club Motel page. I would like to complete the setup for the final business page and customize them to be more personal and visible. I have attempted to reach out multiple times without success. I was unable to access my account for almost three weeks due to an error message prompting me to re-verify my identity by changing my password. Since then, I am able to log in, share, and post, but my news feed stops loading after a short period. This occurs on all devices I have tried. It is not the typical loading circle but simply a dot.
