Recently I have switched my phone and got a new sim card with the same phone number as I had on the phone that I created my Messenger account without a Facebook account*The old sim card got deactivated and after that happened I was seemingly forcibly logged out of messenger on my old device and I have no way of getting back into my account*When I first installed messenger on the new phone after I installed, I clicked not on Facebook as I didn't create my account with Facebook and I thought it would recognize my number and ask for some form of confirmation and due to me being confused and not knowing what to do, messenger blocked me from using that feature due to repeatedly using it*I've also tried clicking forgot password and typing my phone number and it would find me but when I would click send me an SMS with a confirmation code to my phone number which was displayed, nothing would happen, it would just tell me to wait*In addition, I've heard from people that have me on Messenger that my account looks like it's been disabled**Due to that I've decided to contact you to try and help with this issue as I would gladly continue using the app but I am unable to**Some information that I assume you need to fix this issue I will gladly provide via email**I hope this issue is resolved quickly and I can enjoy using Messenger again
