This morning, when I tried to open the Facebook app on my mobile device, I was alerted that my account was temporarily locked due to a login attempt from an unfamiliar location. The message provided details of the suspicious activity from Al Garyah Raqm, Egypt, on a Samsung Galaxy device, which is not my usual location or device. I confirmed that it wasn't me trying to log in and was prompted to change my password to secure my account. I followed the instructions and updated my password as advised. I'm wondering if this process is legitimate or if it could be a scam. Thank you.

I am continuously bombarded with advertisements from deceptive Chinese companies offering ridiculously low prices for wigs, particularly targeting black women. These companies are promoted on Facebook, which is unacceptable as it suggests Facebook is complicit in these scams. Despite reporting these ads multiple times, I am still seeing them, which means others may also fall victim to these deceptive practices. I have decided to contact Facebook directly to address this issue and hope for a resolution. I am seeking compensation for my fake purchase and would like to understand the actions Facebook will take moving forward.

Dear Facebook, I am writing to address an issue that has arisen with our recent advertising efforts on your platform for our silver [redacted] jewelry products. Our company created a business page and promoted five paid posts to target a specific audience. However, we were alarmed to discover that we were charged multiple times (around 10 times) for the same post at $20 each time, which was not our intent. We believe there was a mistake in the promotion process that resulted in unnecessary charges and clutter on our page. We are kindly requesting a refund for these 10 duplicate promotions that were charged without our consent. Moving forward, we recommend that Facebook requires updated payment information for each promotion to avoid unauthorized charges and to enhance security measures. As we plan to invest significantly in advertising on Facebook, we hope to resolve this issue promptly and ensure that our advertising expenses are transparent and secure. We urge you to address this matter and provide us with a refund for the duplicate charges as soon as possible. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Sincerely, Jewelries Wave Roy Gal Vice President of Development

I created a Facebook account under my own name, but after adjusting settings, I received a notification stating that my account is under review. I've submitted a photo of my passport ID as requested to prove my identity twice now. I would appreciate it if you could review this promptly. This account is essential to me, and I am quite distressed by this situation. I haven't even had the chance to add many friends yet. Kindly reinstate my account. Thank you for your help. - Karen

I closed my account about two years ago and have been receiving numerous emails from Facebook users prompting me to share links or wish people a happy birthday. Despite my attempts to delete or reset my account, I found myself stuck in a confusing loop. I even received emails intended for someone named Nicole, whom I do not know. Furthermore, I was asked to verify unfamiliar people in pictures. Today, I received an email addressed to Nicole about a login attempt to my account. How can I end this confusion and prevent my account from falling into the wrong hands? How did someone manage to access my deleted account?

My son initially set up my Facebook account using his old email, which I no longer have access to. Since I don't know the password and can't reset it without the old email, I'm stuck in a loop. There is no option to change the email without the password. My account also has an outdated phone number that needs updating. I need a complete reset of my account details. My current username is barabra.krumm, and the email attached to the account, [redacted], does not work anymore. I also want to correct my username to barbara.krumm. I'm unable to access my account on different devices and need assistance with updating all this information. Thank you for your help.

There is an individual who has been harassing me and my family, including our minors, by posting videos on Facebook. These videos contain inappropriate language and violence and invade our privacy rights. They have received widespread attention with numerous comments, shares, and views globally. The person's Facebook account under the name Johnathan Timothy Angus Pinney needs to be either completely removed or deleted to address this issue. Thank you.

I have been using Facebook for a long time to stay connected with my loved ones and sell items in the marketplace. Recently, my account, Angie Pisano Briggs, was unexpectedly blocked from the yard sale marketplace where I mainly sell clothes, children's items, and small household goods. Despite appealing multiple times, my account remains blocked for no apparent reason. Subsequently, I created a new page, Allie Pisba, dedicated to selling, but it also got blocked when I posted children's clothes. This situation is unsettling as I rely on selling items to support my family financially during my husband's unemployment. I am seeking a prompt resolution as I believe this action is unwarranted. It is frustrating that there is no direct contact for support. I kindly request the restoration of my accounts to resume selling in the marketplace. Thank you for your assistance.

Hello, I am Jo Blohow, and I'm experiencing issues accessing my mobile Facebook account. The account is registered under my name, Jo Blohow, and my current email is [redacted] My previous phone number was [redacted], but I no longer have access to it. I attempted to sign in today but was prompted to go through a security check that only allowed me to verify using codes sent to my old number. Despite trying for hours, I couldn't bypass this step. My new number is [redacted]. I had to create a new Facebook page, but the same security check is hindering my access by only sending codes to my old number. Can you please unlock my account so I can access it with my current number? I no longer have access to the old number [redacted]. My date of birth is 7/22/92. Your assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Jo Blohow

I am confused about why my Facebook account keeps getting blocked. It has been hacked multiple times. My personal information is on there, and it's causing innocent people like me trouble. This is the second time this has happened. I am not causing harm; I simply use Facebook to reconnect with friends and family I lost during the war in my country. If I am doing something wrong, Facebook should be able to point it out. I am a law-abiding citizen and have never been in trouble. If I don't get my account back, I will consider legal action against Facebook. My photos and information are there, and I have done nothing wrong. I communicated with my sick loved ones through this platform. I am a real person; I only created a new account because of being hacked. It's frustrating that Facebook blocks or hacks people without proper investigation. Not everyone is fake. I can be reached via email on my original account, which was either hacked or blocked, leading me to create a new one. I do not need two accounts; I just want this issue resolved and my information protected.

I believe my original account was targeted by a hacker in the past few months. After the incident, I created a new page but Facebook closed it down, claiming I was pretending to be someone else because I shared videos from my old page. I no longer have access to the email linked to the account, and my attempts to recover it through Yahoo were not successful. I have invested significant effort into building my social media presence on Facebook, including three other accounts linked to my original page. The names of my pages are Domingo Henare, Itsgondown (my work page), and The Last Juug (blog for my book). I seek assistance in recovering my original page as it holds sentimental value and is crucial for my online presence. Thank you for your help.

My friend's account was opened under the name of Rita Ojecho but was hacked and subsequently closed. The hacker also gained unauthorized access to her previous accounts, Rita Opita and Ritaluv Opita. The Rita Opita account, primarily used for her Oriflame business, is now being misused by the hacker to extort money from unsuspecting individuals for registration purposes. To make matters worse, the hacker is threatening her with blackmail unless she pays him N50,[redacted] Nigerian Naira. Shouldn't these instances be sufficient grounds for Facebook to delete these compromised accounts? It seems overly convenient to create a Facebook account but excessively complex to close one that has been hacked. Shouldn't Facebook have a more robust system in place to address such issues? I, too, have dormant accounts that I cannot close due to forgotten details. It's frustrating. Could someone please assist in deleting the mentioned accounts, especially Rita Opita, which is being exploited by the hacker for blackmail and monetary requests via Facebook Messenger? Your immediate attention to this matter is greatly appreciated.

Good afternoon, I handle marketing at Universal Funds (@umsfunds). Today, I noticed that Facebook has unpublished our company page. I appealed this decision as I was unsure of the issue. The response stated that after review, it still violated Facebook Pages Terms. I carefully checked the Facebook Pages Terms but couldn't find any violations. I attempted to respond via Facebook but have not received a reply. As there is no phone support and my questions are unanswered in the Community Help Center, I hope to receive clarification through this email. Please provide details regarding the issue and any necessary adjustments. Thank you, Zach Rinaldi

My friend opened an account under the name Rita Ojecho, which got hacked and subsequently closed. The hacker also targeted her old accounts Rita Opita and Ritaluv Opita. The hacked Rita Opita account, used for her Oriflame business, is now being misused by the hacker to solicit money under false pretexts. The hacker is now demanding N50,[redacted] Nigerian Naira from her, and is threatening to blackmail her if she doesn't comply. Shouldn't these fraudulent activities prompt Facebook to delete these accounts? Why is it simpler to create a Facebook account than to close a hacked one? Shouldn't Facebook have a mechanism in place to address this issue? I, too, have unused accounts that I'm unable to close due to forgotten information. Please assist in removing the mentioned accounts, particularly Rita Opita, which the hacker is exploiting for blackmail and fraudulent activities over Facebook Messenger. Please investigate and take action promptly.

Hello, I am Sri. Recently, many of my friends contacted me about receiving personal messages with an adult content video featuring myself from another account. I would like to know if it is possible to permanently remove this video from the inbox messages of all my friends. If this can be done, please proceed accordingly. I trust you can comprehend the urgency of my situation and address my request promptly. Here are my details: Username: korada.harsha Email: [redacted] I kindly ask for your understanding as this situation has the potential to strain relationships through no fault of mine. I am currently experiencing difficulty accessing my Mother-in-Law's Facebook account. Her phone has malfunctioned, and the email address she originally used is no longer in use and cannot be recovered. Due to her age, she never updated her email or added a mobile number to her account, which is causing issues with receiving the reset code. Attempts to retrieve the old email through ATT were unsuccessful since it was deleted over 90 days ago. I can be reached via the email provided, as it is checked daily. This is an urgent matter as she only has access to a temporary phone until Tuesday. Resolving this issue promptly to update her profile with the correct information is crucial to prevent this from happening in the future.

I am 80 years old and I wanted to share something that happened on Facebook last Sunday. I saw a post inviting people to a birthday party on August 9th at 6 pm at my house for my grandson. I did not create or post this invite, and I'm unsure of its origin. Additionally, there is another invite for a party on August 11th at their house posted by his wife. I feel terrible that someone mistakenly put up a post stating I am having a party for him as well. I need help figuring out where this misinformation came from. Can anyone assist me in resolving this confusion?

I need to reach out to my daughter about my hospital stay to have her bring me my handbag, prayer book, Bible, phone charger, and mail. I'm currently in the hospital involuntarily. Although I may have thoughts of harming someone, I have full control over my anger and would never act on it. I've been a victim of serious crimes, including sexual offenses.
