While playing Words with Friends, I had concerning interactions with a player who asked personal questions and mentioned security questions similar to those for online banking. The game disappears when he's offline, which is suspicious. The player's profile picture is of an older man in a library setting. The username was something like Hemson. This worried me, and I've lost sleep over my bank account's safety. I've deleted games with unknown players. If he returns, I want to block or report him. This happened on Friday, July 20. I felt targeted and manipulated into sharing information. He also tried to keep me chatting for a while. Can anything be done to track or report him?

I'm locked out of my Facebook account after a suspected hack through Messenger. Following a strange YouTube video, my Messenger contacts also received it (confirmed by three people). Despite changing my password multiple times, I can't fully recover my account due to no SMS code being sent to my number post-hack. This hinders my business as clients contact me through Messenger on my business page. I need access without needing a code due to difficulty receiving them. Verifying my identity through recent messages isn't an option since messages were sent without my knowledge. The problem seems related to a phone number issue as I receive texts from everyone except Facebook. It's urgent to resolve this as I suspect the hacker is getting the codes instead. Please help. While browsing, I was unexpectedly logged out of my account, possibly due to phishing or a hacking attempt. I took the necessary steps to secure my account, including confirming my identity via text and verifying recent posts. However, when attempting to delete all commerce posts as part of this process, I encountered an error message stating, "sorry something went wrong, we're working on getting this fixed asap." This error persists even after numerous attempts to resolve it. This issue is particularly concerning for me as I manage two important business pages on Facebook: a fitness fan page under the name gary Sethi, which is verified, and a toy business page called popgeek. It is imperative that this problem is addressed promptly to prevent further damage to my reputation and businesses.

Hello, my name is Serena Sampson. I attempted to log in to my Facebook account on my phone, but I was unexpectedly logged out. I entered my email as [redacted] and my password as F***********0. However, Facebook requested a security code be sent to my old phone number [redacted], which I no longer have. I need the security code sent to my new phone number [redacted]. When I tried to have the code sent to my email, Yahoo deactivated my account due to inactivity, a situation I was unaware of. I require Facebook to update my phone number on file so I can receive the security code to change my email address to [redacted] I am willing to provide my ID to verify my identity. It is urgent that I regain access as all my baby's photos are at stake.

Last week, a friend sent me a message on Messenger with a link that turned out to be a malicious website. I mistakenly logged in when prompted, realizing too late that it was a phishing attempt. Subsequently, I received a notification claiming I had won something, which made it evident that my account had been compromised. The virus then spread by sending the same message to all my Facebook friends, logging me out of both Facebook and Messenger. When I attempted to log back in, I encountered password issues. I am now trying to reset my password but am unable to receive the necessary verification code. Despite multiple attempts, I am stuck at the step requiring a 6-digit code from a generation app I don't possess. Additionally, the phone verification code isn't reaching me. I have resorted to submitting a photo holding a unique code and providing my ID to regain access to my accounts.

I lost my phone on May 5th, and I've been unable to access my Facebook account since then. I've submitted my photo ID twice and also sent a picture with the provided code, but the issue persists. I've informed Facebook that I'm now using my brother's phone, which belongs to Ibrahim A., and a different phone number. Every time I attempt to log in, I receive the message prompting me for a 6-digit login code. Despite attempts to resolve this with the help of others, no solution has been found yet. I'm unsure if I or the person assisting me needs to get the Code Generator. Obtaining it has been challenging and frustrating. I'm hoping for assistance to resolve this issue promptly. I recently logged into my Facebook account, which I've had for years. Wanting to update the email associated with it due to an overwhelming amount of spam in my old account, I tried to add a new email for my online class communications. However, Facebook's team blocked my attempt, restricted my access, and refused to provide a valid reason for their actions. This interruption has been frustrating and has made me question my trust in Facebook. It seems Facebook's focus on collecting user data for profit has led to terrible customer service and a lack of accountability. I may need to find a different platform for my needs as this experience has been disappointing.

Hi, my Facebook account is louiedecoton and I create handmade apparel and bags for small dogs. I have been experiencing issues with posting in dog gifting Marketplace groups. When attempting to list items, nothing happens or I receive a message stating I can't post in that many groups, which was understandable. However, last week I was notified via email that my Marketplace access has been permanently blocked. I have appealed this decision and inquired about the specific rules I may have violated, but have not received any responses. I have reviewed the guidelines multiple times and cannot identify any violations in my posts. Even if there was an unintentional rule infringement, a permanent block seems too severe. It would be more reasonable to receive a warning first. Facebook is crucial for my small business, and I would appreciate any assistance in resolving this matter. Thank you for your support.

I woke up to several Facebook password reset codes on my phone. They were sent while I was asleep. When I entered a new code to log in, the issue persisted, and I kept receiving codes every night for a week. Now, I can only receive codes via email, which I can't access as it's linked to an old college email I no longer use. Today, I realized the email for the code has been changed to an unfamiliar one, starting with 'v' and ending with 'g.' This email is unknown to me. Additionally, my husband noticed that he has been blocked when viewing my page from his account.

I am encountering two issues with my Facebook page. Initially, I am attempting to update my name from Goddess Ashira to AshiraTantra to align better with my Tantra energy healing business. However, Facebook is refusing my name change request and simply sending automated responses without reviewing it properly. Furthermore, I have received a misleading review on my page from MD Khurrom Monjur, who is not a customer of mine. He resides in Bangladesh, while my business is in Ithaca, NY. This unjust review is impacting my newly established business negatively. I have reported this multiple times to no avail. I recently received an email informing me that my account would be deleted if I didn't respond within 14 days. Unfortunately, I only came across the email 2 days after the deadline because I have been grieving the recent loss of my mom, resulting in me not checking my emails regularly. I haven't been active on the platform due to caring for my mom during her stroke, but I wasn't aware of a specific time requirement for using Facebook to avoid cancellation. Is there a way to recover my account? My account has been hacked. My friends were removed, my photo, location, and name were all changed. I no longer have access to my old email. I urgently need my account disabled to prevent someone from using it fraudulently. The name on my account was Cameron Pearson, and the correct city was Buffalo, MN. It was changed to Ibrahim Ahel, and the city was changed to Gaza City. The language was switched from English to what appears to be Arabic. This breach is concerning, especially with my young daughter's photos now potentially under someone else's control. Please address this issue promptly.

I attempted to transfer the monetization manager from my Facebook business page to my personal account. While trying to delete the business account in an effort to achieve this, I encountered issues and was unable to proceed. I then attempted to delete all associated apps, hoping this would help switch the monetization manager to my personal account. Unfortunately, upon trying to access the Audience Network dashboard, I realized I had lost access. Additionally, the Facebook app from developers had been deleted. This experience with the Facebook Business Manager has left me feeling confused and frustrated. I no longer wish to use the Business Manager and seek assistance on how to regain access to the Audience Network. I have earned money through Instant Articles, and it is crucial for me to maintain access to it. Any guidance on resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, I regret to inform you that my Facebook account was disabled due to copyright infringement issues. Even though I received a warning after the first violation, my account was still disabled after a subsequent violation related to a video I posted in March or April. Unfortunately, I was unaware of the rules regarding copyrighted content, which led to this situation. I have been a Facebook user for four years and have never knowingly violated any of their policies before this incident. I sincerely apologize for the oversight and would like to request the reactivation of my account. Alternatively, I tried creating a new account, but it seems to have been disabled as well, possibly due to my IP address or photo being flagged. I am quite concerned about this situation as I rely on Facebook for various purposes. I recently realized that my Facebook password was changed on Saturday, but I only noticed it yesterday. Despite trying to reset my password, the only available option is to request an access code via email. The issue arises because the email associated with my account was actually set up by my cousin during the time of creating my Facebook account, and unfortunately, my cousin doesn't remember the password, so I cannot access the email to obtain the access code needed for security purposes. Additionally, I linked my Facebook to my phone number +[redacted], but when I attempt to log in with this number, it is linked to a different account that is not mine. Strangely, I can reset the other account via the phone number, but I am unable to do the same for my own account using the number I had previously set.

I have a protective order against my ex-husband, and he has been charged with violating it. However, I received a text message from Facebook on July 21st with a password reset code that I did not request. Following our divorce over a year ago, my ex-husband transferred my phone number from his account to a phone in his possession, giving him access to my private messages and photos through Verizon.com. He has already used this information to harass and embarrass me. I suspect he is trying to gain access to my Facebook account to continue his stalking and harassment. Thankfully, I have changed the phone number associated with my Facebook account. I have notified local law enforcement about this issue, and they recommended contacting Facebook to track the IP address or location of the password reset request. I urgently need assistance to prevent him from accessing my accounts and violating the protective order.
