Hi so last week my friend had sent me a message on messenger and opened it and it was an unsuccessful website which was basically a way for you to get hacked. So when my friend sent me the video, I thought it was a funny video she was trying to show me but when i opened it, it took me to safari and asked me to log in so i logged it (which i shouldn’t have done.) After i logged in, it had told me congratulations that i won something and so when i read that i automatically knew it was a virus and it was a machine so after that opened, it basically hacked me and sent the video to all my facebook friends and logged me out of my facebook and messenger accounts saying that my I had been timed out so i tried logging back in and it said i was putting in the wrong password. Now since it said it was the wrong password, i’m trying to change it so i could recover my account back and so when i’m trying to change the password it’s asking me for a code that i’m suppose to be receiving so when i get the code, i put it in and it moves forward to the next process and the one is asking me for a *-digit code from my code generation or a *rd party app, which i don’t even have a code to put in & in one of the sentences it says that i’ve asked you guys to require a *-digit code when anyone tries to access my account from a new device or browser. And the only * digit number that i could have used if i were to actually have a code i’m putting it in & it says it’s incorrent that i need to try again using the * digit code in a text message that’s been sent to my phone, & i’m not receiving any code to my email or number. This has been going on for almost a week now meaning i haven’t been able to access my facebook and messenger account. i’ve already sent in another way to authenticate by sending in a picture of me holding a sign with a hand written code & provided a government-issued ID
