Hello :) I wanted to share an incident that occurred during a Facebook discussion about two Palestinian teens who were shot by Israeli soldiers and had their funeral today. An IDF (Israeli Defense Force) officer callously expressed a desire for more Palestinians to be shot, stating, "I’m so sad there wasn’t more ;(". The link to the comment can be found here: [redacted]. Several of us, including myself, reported this comment for hate speech. Surprisingly, Facebook responded with a message stating, "Thank you for taking the time to report something that you feel may violate our Community Standards. Reports like yours are an important part of making Facebook a safe and welcoming environment. We reviewed the comment you reported and found it doesn't violate our Community Standards." This left me baffled. I've been banned from Facebook for a month (this is my second time) for making comments far less harmful than the officer's. It seems evident to me now that Facebook is collaborating with Israel and the IDF to suppress any criticism and free speech concerning the illegal occupation, settlements, and treatment of Palestinians. It's disheartening to see such blatant bias on the platform. I know of many others who have faced bans for peacefully speaking out against Israel on Facebook. It's a concerning situation. Best regards, K.A. Denmark

Hello, I had an issue with Facebook requesting verification of my account this week. I followed the steps, but now I am locked out with a message saying my account is disabled. My friends say it shows my account is going through verification, not disabled permanently. I tried to verify a disabled account following the links provided, but I haven't received any email or explanation from Facebook. I am looking for more information on why verification was needed, any issues with the process, how long it might take, or any other ways to help expedite the process. Thank you, C. McGarry

After making a satirical Facebook post regarding boys, Facebook has removed my posts interpreting them as "hate speech." The comparison of males to "scum" on my page was flagged under Facebook's guidelines. I believe this decision is unjustified as it does not constitute hate speech. Even if it were, it should be protected under freedom of speech rights. Censorship can lead to more harm than good. If Facebook aims to address issues like political correctness or bullying, they should reconsider their approach as the phrase "men are scum" is not inflammatory. No one's voice should be suppressed or modified in this manner.

I am trying to help a family member who is not comfortable with technology. They have three Facebook accounts, two of which are old and were accidentally created but never used. The account she is currently using has an outdated email that is no longer in use, and she wants to change it to a valid email. However, the valid email is linked to one of the other accounts that cannot be deleted. I have tried to delete the extra accounts by removing friends, posting that the account is not valid, and following the deletion steps. Unfortunately, I keep getting an error message saying either the email or password is incorrect when trying to delete them. Once I can successfully delete the extra accounts after the two-week waiting period, I will update the current account with the correct email. It's a frustrating situation!

Hello, I hope you're well. My name is John G. and I'm requesting your assistance. I'm currently in the process of arranging papers for my wife's sponsorship in Canada. Among the requirements is evidence of our communication over the past 9 years of our relationship. However, most of our messages were on my old phone, which I no longer have, and my Facebook account from before [redacted], which I am unable to access. I'm struggling because I can't remember the email associated with that account for recovery. The name of my old Facebook account is MOCKZ PHIBETZ. I would greatly appreciate any guidance on how to regain access to it. Thank you very much and best wishes.

I recently created a Facebook account for my business. However, when I tried to add the pages I manage, Facebook flagged my account for unusual activity, requesting a photo to verify my identity. This was frustrating as my account is new with only an old profile picture. Despite reaching out, the reset password link provided did not resolve the issue. Now, my business promotion efforts are on hold due to this account lockout. In my opinion, the photo verification process is time-consuming and could easily be replaced with more efficient security measures like text codes or security questions. This experience has been inconvenient and I urge Facebook to reconsider their verification methods to prevent similar issues in the future. Thank you.

I recently encountered an individual, Kevaugn Young, who used a fake account to communicate with me. Despite my efforts to address the situation, he continued to send fake photos and engage in deceitful behavior. We exchanged fake images, and I requested he provide a genuine photo or video to verify his identity. When he failed to comply, I expressed my frustration and ceased communication. To my surprise, I discovered that my account had been disabled. I rely on this account daily and have important information that I require by Friday. I am eager to understand why my account was disabled and seek assistance in reactivating it, particularly the messenger feature. Your help in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I encountered an issue with my Facebook account. The session expired, prompting me to re-login, but now I cannot access my account due to suspicious activity. My account was hacked, sending videos to my friends without my knowledge. I suspect clicking on a video in Messenger from a compromised friend may have caused this. Despite changing my password multiple times and receiving verification codes, I'm unable to proceed as I don't have access to the code generator on any device. While my account is visible to others, I'm desperate to regain access and restore my connection to Facebook, an important news source and social platform for me. This experience has left me distressed and seeking urgent assistance to resolve this security breach.

My Facebook page logged me out suddenly, and when I tried to log back in, it prompted me to my old Hotmail address, which had been hacked years ago. I attempted to update my email with Facebook to my current one of 8 years, but I accidentally created a new account instead of recovering my original one. I'm looking to regain access to my old Facebook account, as I've had it for years and prefer not to have multiple accounts for security reasons. Previously, I experienced a similar issue earlier this year but was able to restore my page after some time. I was advised that having multiple accounts could increase the risk of being hacked or experiencing identity theft, which a colleague in IT mentioned when our system was compromised. I may have connected my original account with my phone number [redacted].

Hello, I am Lori P. and I manage a Facebook group called Love in Action that is exclusive to our bible study group. Recently, I changed the group picture to include a Bible scripture, specifically 1 John 3:18. However, after updating the image, the screen went black. I tried re-uploading the picture multiple times, but it consistently leads to a black screen. I am concerned if there might be any restrictions on sharing a scripture within our closed group, which only consists of 23 members. Previously, I did not encounter any issues with the group picture that did not include a Bible verse. I would appreciate clarification on this matter.

I believe my Facebook account was hacked. Suddenly, I received numerous messages from friends asking if I sent them a video, which I did not. I tried to inform everyone about the hack, but as soon as I posted, my Facebook account closed, and I couldn't log back in despite multiple attempts. I even sent a photo of my ID to prove my identity, but the link I received to reclaim my account didn't work. I am reaching out to Facebook support for assistance as I value my account for staying connected with family and storing precious memories. I hope to regain access soon and will enhance my security measures moving forward. Thank you for any help you can provide.

I have been having trouble accessing my Facebook account for the past 6 weeks. Normally, I use my laptop to log in, and it usually opens without requiring me to log in again. However, one day it suddenly asked me to log in, and despite my attempts over the past few weeks, I have been unable to access it. I originally set up my Facebook account a few years ago using a mobile number without a password or email. Unfortunately, I no longer have access to the SIM card associated with that number, so I am not receiving the login code Facebook is sending via text. This has left me unable to log in, and I need assistance to regain access to my account as I don't want to lose it. My name on Facebook is Julie Williams, I am 45 years old, and my profile is public. Although my mobile number is [redacted]9, I can't use it as I no longer have the SIM card. I have 25 Facebook friends, and my photo gallery includes pictures of my Mum, her Mum when she was young, my Grandad, and his grave at Arlington Cemetery in the US. I would greatly appreciate any help in resolving this issue. The email I am currently using is not linked to my Facebook account. Thank you for your assistance. Julie Williams.

My friend accidentally logged out of Facebook and forgot her email, which used to be [redacted] Her ID name is Stairway Ting and her phone number is [redacted]. I have been able to assist her with her Facebook before, but now everything is inaccessible. She can't find or view her account even when using my Facebook. Could you please help her recover her account? All her memories and pictures, including those of her deceased father, mother, and sister, are in her account. We are unable to search for her account now as it shows no results. Your assistance in helping her regain access would be greatly appreciated.

Dear Facebook Support, I have encountered an issue with accessing my old Facebook account, Patricia Jean Arevalo, as I could not reset my password due to my defunct Comcast email address and outdated cell phone number. I had to create a new account, Patricia MacDonald-Arevalo, but I lost valuable photos of my late husband when my old phone malfunctioned. Despite several attempts, I have been unable to reset the password for my old account using the new method of receiving a text on a new number. These pictures are extremely precious to me, particularly after the loss of my husband. I kindly request your assistance in enabling me to reset the password for my old account. My current email is [redacted] and my new phone number is [redacted] if you need to reach me regarding this urgent matter. Thank you for your understanding. Sincerely, Patricia J MacDonald-Arevalo

I verbally agreed to sell a mirrored cabinet for £[redacted] to someone, but when another buyer offered the full price of £[redacted] and could collect it immediately, I decided to sell it to them instead. After informing the initial buyer, Tracey, she responded with abusive and threatening messages, including threats to smear my reputation online and report me. Feeling threatened because Tracey knows my address, I am seeking urgent assistance as I might need to involve the police. Also, I request the reactivation of my account promptly as I am relocating in two weeks and selling off items is crucial. Thank you for looking into this matter promptly. Regards, Lisa H.

I'm having issues with my political ads being rejected. A red triangle message appears saying too many ads have been rejected from my account. • Facebook verified my identity and address via FedEx, and two-factor authentication is activated. • I linked my personal account to my campaign account. • I believe my disclaimer: "Paid for by Applewhite For District 50 Campaign Committee, Jarratt Applewhite, Treasurer" is accurate. I suspect that the account needs to be reset to kick off the authorization process again.

Yesterday, I came across a list of friends I could add on Facebook, and I mistakenly clicked on it, assuming it was new security feature. Some friends even asked if I was creating a new profile, which led me to discover that my name on Facebook had changed from Paula Galvao to Ardicia Galvao. My profile picture with my grandson had also been replaced with one of my son and grandson. This has never happened in all my years on Facebook, and I am concerned about losing all my history. I have two email addresses, [redacted] and [redacted] I vaguely recall my email being [redacted] but am unsure if I changed it to [redacted]

I need help setting up a small business on social media, specifically Instagram. There is an existing Facebook page for our store called "Bear-ly worn consignments" with a following. When I tried to link the two, I encountered difficulties. Since the owner's personal Facebook account (Tina) was logged in, I couldn't connect them. Then, I tried to connect as the admin of "Bear-ly worn consignments" but it wouldn't work because I wasn't the correct admin. I reported the issue to Facebook, and now there is a new page on my personal Facebook account that I didn't create and don't know how to remove. It's a complex situation, and I would appreciate any guidance on how to resolve it.

Since July 1, [redacted], I have faced issues with leaving comments and liking posts on the Hagee Ministries Facebook page. My ability to interact and receive notifications for live services has been disrupted. Despite being a member for years and actively participating by commenting and liking, I am now restricted and unable to engage unless I visit the page directly. It seems I am being prevented from showing support, possibly due to a comment I made that led to my commenting privileges being revoked. I suspect censorship based on the interruptions during the service. I urge Facebook to restore my ability to engage with the Hagee Ministries page and reinstate my notifications promptly. I have confirmed with Cornerstone Church that the issue does not originate from their end. Regardless of personal opinions, I believe in upholding our First Amendment rights. Your immediate attention to this matter is appreciated.

I recently clicked on a link in my Gmail that took me to Delta's website to check airfares. The Delta site has been blocked for me at the server level, which is a new issue that I am still investigating. While on hold with Delta on the phone, I noticed several new ads on my Facebook page from third-party advertisers like onetime.com, airfarewatchdog.com, and lastmin-fliers.com, all promoting low fares for Delta airlines. The ads were all Delta-related, featuring images of Delta airplanes. I believe that my online activity is being tracked, which I thought was against Facebook's policies. I tried to adjust my ad settings on Facebook but couldn't find a solution. Can anyone explain what's happening and how I can prevent this tracking in the future?
