Dear Press Team, I am Edin Siranovic from Bosnia and Herzegovina. I want to address an issue regarding the recent updates on Facebook's "Removing Bad Actors" policy. There seems to have been a mistake with the targeting, focusing mainly on Mexico and Latin America while affecting other regions without justification. My friend and I had [redacted] Business Manager pages on Facebook, all utilizing Instant Articles for advertising. Instant Articles strictly adhere to guidelines, preventing any spam or violations. We have heavily invested in promotions, exceeding 50,[redacted] euros, to grow our page audience. However, all our pages were inexplicably removed by Facebook's automation, resulting in our profiles being disabled. Despite sending numerous appeals over the last 28 days, we have not received any response. Before considering legal action, we seek to resolve this matter directly with Facebook. A bug led to the removal of [redacted] pages on Facebook managed through Business Facebook Manager and Instant Articles advertising without cause. Instant Articles is designed to prevent the dissemination of spam or clickbait, ensuring compliance with rules. Despite our substantial investment of over 50,[redacted] euros in promotions to grow our following through the Instant Articles ads, our pages were inexplicably removed by Facebook's automation, resulting in the disabling of our profiles. After years of dedicated work, the abrupt loss was devastating. Despite numerous appeals and documentation submissions over the last 28 days to have our profiles restored, no response has been received. I encountered an issue while selling items on Facebook and other online platforms, resulting in my account being blocked. I was advised to appeal to regain site access. Subsequently, I received an email purportedly from Facebook indicating a third-party breach through Google servers on Facebook's classifieds and yard sale sites. The email requested the purchase of Google Play cards totaling $50 to rectify the situation. After multiple attempts to resolve the supposed hacker issue by buying additional cards, I became frustrated. The individual claiming to be in charge identified himself as James Christopher Sr. Manager, providing emails at ail.com, @gmail.com, and [redacted] and contact number 1-[redacted]. To whom it may concern, I require assistance in reversing/refunding some donations made towards the HOPE Worldwide cause on my Facebook page. The transactions are pending as they haven't reached the 15th of the month specified in the fundraiser details. I'm seeking guidance on how to cancel these donations promptly. Hello! My name is Alycia Bolanes. After my brother, Doug Bolanes Jr, passed away in [redacted], his Facebook account was changed to a memorial page by one of his friends. While initially, I was okay with that, I have been unable to log in over the years. There have been several issues with his account being memorialized, such as friends getting unfriended and not being able to view old posts and photos. I am looking to regain access to his account for personal reasons. I used to have all the account information, but it has been lost over time. I had an unpleasant experience with a service provider and requested a refund after expressing my dissatisfaction. The vendor shared images of the service on Instagram despite my request to remove them. Following this, I left a negative review on their Facebook page outlining my concerns. In response, the vendor publicly posted our conversation and service images on their page, which I found humiliating. I believe this behavior amounts to cyberbullying. The vendor threatened legal action if I did not remove my review. Feeling pressured, I took down the review. However, the vendor's post is still up and causing distress. I reached out to the authorities who directed me to contact Facebook for assistance. I urge Facebook to intervene and remove the damaging post to prevent further humiliation and negative attention. I value the opportunity to share honest feedback through reviews but do not wish to be subjected to online harassment. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

My Facebook account, Kaung Myint Myat Htoo, was recently hacked. I noticed the unauthorized access on July 2nd, [redacted], when my email address ([redacted]) and password were changed. I reported the incident immediately and provided my passport and ID pictures for verification. It's been two days since I submitted the report, but I have yet to receive any communication from Facebook. The phone number associated with the account before the hack was [redacted]9. Last Saturday, when I tried to access my Facebook page, it wasn't responsive despite all my attempts. I followed the recovery steps but still couldn't regain access. When I entered my phone number, two Facebook profiles appeared - Vicky Carter and Victoria Carter, but clicking on them didn't work. I am unsure if my account was removed, blocked, or hacked. I have faced similar issues in the past in [redacted] when my Facebook account was hacked, and another one with my nephew was possibly blocked or hacked without notification. I couldn't retrieve them and had to create a new account. I'm perplexed as to why Facebook didn't notify me of these actions. On July 5th, I received a Facebook notification on my phone alerting me that someone attempted to log into my account from the Dominican Republic, even though I reside in Missouri. I indicated that it wasn't me, but when I tried to access my Facebook account through the mobile app, I found out I had been logged out due to a timed-out session. Upon attempting to log back in, I was prompted to change my password. Following the password change, I was immediately asked for a login code supposedly sent via SMS, which I never received. Even after trying to verify my identity by submitting a photo of my ID, the subsequent code sent to my email led to another request for the elusive SMS code. Despite receiving an email with a link to reset my password, I am still unable to proceed as it insists on the SMS code that never arrives. Desperately seeking assistance as my account contains a decade's worth of irreplaceable photos of my children, late spouse, and mother. Any help is greatly appreciated as this situation is incredibly distressing.

We continue to receive emails requesting additional information for our organization, the Coalition for Quality End-of-Life Care, without a clear way to contact you. The latest email mentions that without a response by July 14, our Page won't be listed as a check-in place. As a 501c3 organization without a physical space but holding programs at various locations, it's crucial for attendees to be able to check in. We are unsure about the specifics you require as the link provided doesn't clarify this. Hello, I am reaching out because I'm having difficulties with the Instagram app's purple background form for reporting hacked accounts. When I try to send the form, it gives me an error message saying "INVALID PARAMETERS." Earlier today, I received an email from Instagram informing me that my account password was changed without my knowledge. Hello, I have been a Facebook user for many years. I recently discovered that my eldest son used my email address for his Facebook account. I need help changing this. I have set up an alternate email, [redacted], for my Facebook and Instagram accounts. My name is Athena Christopoulos, born on March 2, [redacted]. There is a blank Facebook account that I am trying to delete, but I am unsure how it was created. I have been using my Facebook and Instagram accounts daily for many years. I created a Facebook account using only my phone number, without an email. Later, I made another account with the same number, logged out of the first one, and now I can't access it with my phone number. I deleted the second account and tried to log in again using my phone number, but I couldn't find any account linked to it. When I attempt to reset the password, it asks me to use an email address, which I never set up. I'm unsure why my phone number got removed from my original account and how to reset it. When I try to reset the account using an ID, it prompts me to search by email or phone number, but I have neither. Facebook should inform users that creating a new account with the same number deletes the previous one.

I've been using my account since [redacted] under the name "Sakib Ibn Rashid Rhivu." It's my primary ID, but today it was suddenly disabled for allegedly impersonating someone. After searching on Facebook, I discovered a fake account with the same name and my profile picture, which I uploaded a year ago but appeared on the fake account recently. My genuine account is 6 years old, and I am a national champion and record holder for the Rubik’s Cube in Bangladesh. This error by Facebook has caused me immeasurable losses, especially since I am currently studying in Canada and use this account to stay connected with my friends, family, and community. Regarding account recovery, although I use my actual birthdate on Facebook, my official documents have a different birthdate due to local customs. This disparity might complicate the recovery process, but I have valid identification with my name and photo to verify my identity. The fake account has no way to authenticate its user. I hope Facebook can understand the situation and help resolve this misunderstanding.

I am experiencing difficulty uploading my items on the marketplace. Facebook has been a reliable platform for me and I have never encountered this issue before. I have been a loyal user for years and it has been instrumental in supporting my small business. I accidentally activated the dual privacy on my Facebook account. Now, I can’t access it without a six-digit number, which doesn't seem to work. I didn't intend to set it up this way, and I prefer it how it was before. Can anyone assist me in reverting my Facebook to its previous state? I am unable to access it as the system doesn't recognize the new password I set. I appreciate any help that doesn't require contacting Facebook directly since I can't log in to seek help there. I am having trouble accessing my [redacted] account. I logged out about 15 days ago and have forgotten the password. The reset code used to be sent to my old mobile number, but it is now being sent to an email address I have not opened in 5 years. The old email is linked to my new email, [redacted]. My account has been disabled. My account was under the name "Ali Chaudhery" on Gmail with the email [redacted] I have been a permanent user of Facebook for 5 to 6 years. I always follow rules, regulations, and standard values. I am a well-known citizen with a broad mind and consider myself a liberal. I have no connections with any religious, political, or terrorist organizations or individuals. On July 8th, [redacted], my Facebook account was suddenly disabled by Facebook without any reason or notification. I am very sad and frustrated because of this. My online marketplace was disabled by a hacker who claimed to be from Facebook. They told me to purchase Google Play cards to fix it, starting with 2 $50 cards. After sending these, they asked for an additional $[redacted] card, promising a refund of $[redacted] plus $75 for my trouble. When I tried to call customer service, the number was always busy.
