I've been a long-time member and rely on the platform to stay connected with family, share photos of my kids, and occasionally sell personal items. Seeking Assistance: Blocked Ads Issue Hello everyone, I have a pressing concern that has been bothering me since the start of April. I continue to face blocks when trying to post or respond to ads. I have to go through the hassle of appealing each time without receiving any clarification on why this is happening. As a result, I am unable to locate any of my ads, and understandably, there is no engagement on them if they are all blocked. It is disheartening not to see any promotion or boost on my ads. Hello, I am having trouble accessing my account as my password was changed and it seems to have been hacked. My friends cannot see my profile, and all our messages are gone. I can't log in via Facebook and when I tried to reset it, I didn't provide enough information. I used another email account where I supplied my full name, phone number, last known password, and explained the issue, yet it's asking for an ID which I tried but kept getting an error. I've been assisting my 86-year-old mom and dad with their account. They accidentally changed the language to French, which we managed to switch back to English. Then, while trying to set up their login email (as they don't have their own), we were prompted with a security request to contact 3 friends for a code. To avoid bothering others, we tried uploading my mom's driver's license. Unfortunately, after an hour, we received a message that it was not accepted. My mom is eagerly waiting to use her account again. She enjoys this and watching TV, so I'm at a loss on how to resolve this for her.

A few months ago, my account got hacked, and I lost my entire contact list of [redacted] people, along with hundreds of meaningful photos from my travels. Ever since, I've been having constant issues with changing my password and then not being able to log in with the new one. The "change password" link doesn't seem to work properly. Today, when I received an authorization code, I tried to use it within five minutes, but got a message saying the code was incorrect. I closed the app on a device without realizing I forgot my password. No longer able to access the original email linked to my account, I somehow logged in, attempted to update my email, failed to login on another device, and used trusted contacts to access it. After changing the email and password, Facebook promised to send a confirmation email, which never arrived. Despite recognizing my email and phone number, Facebook has yet to send the confirmation email. When trying a different approach, a code is sent to my former email address. It's frustrating as compared to Instagram, where a similar issue was resolved swiftly with direct contact through emails.

I connected with a woman on Zoosk.com from Oregon who only shared her first name. Recently, I received a Facebook friend request purportedly from her, triggering a chain of events. I extended my gratitude for the request and learned she did not send it, revealing her last name inadvertently disclosed to me through Facebook's automated friend suggestions. This accidental revelation caused distress, as she now questions my intentions and authenticity. I aim to reassure her of my goodwill, but her concerns linger. Hello, I had received wonderful assistance from a lady named Nat here in the past, and I'm reaching out for help once more. I recently encountered an issue with my business manager account involving a page called BrooklynHive. I successfully connected my business Instagram to it, but after setting up the Facebook page Brooklyn Hive as the primary page, the Instagram posts no longer appear on the connected Facebook page. Despite ensuring the proper links on both platforms and being an admin on the business page, the sharing isn't working as expected. I tried troubleshooting for days with no luck. I have been receiving assistance from tech support at [redacted] and [redacted] since June 20th. They requested me to purchase gift cards worth over $3,[redacted] to reset my account. I have already spent $[redacted] and they are pressuring me to buy more. Due to my mobility issues, going out multiple times has been exhausting and costly. A few years ago, a student from NC State University created a Facebook account for our outreach program associated with the university, Future City, aimed at North Carolina middle school students. The account, named futurecitync, has been inactive for some time as the student who created it has since graduated and we have been unable to contact them. We would like to continue using the original account name, futurecitync, but we no longer have access to the account credentials. It would greatly assist us in promoting our annual competition and keeping participants updated if Facebook could grant us access to this account for maintenance and communication purposes. Despite my efforts today to create a new page using my personal Facebook account ([redacted]), both myself and the members of the Future City-NC Steering Committee strongly prefer to utilize the original account.

Yesterday, on June 26th around 7:00 a.m., I used the Facebook app on my cell phone without any issues. However, at noon, when I tried to open the app, I found that I had been logged out and my account was hacked. The hacker changed the password, email, and phone number associated with my account. I followed the steps on the Facebook help page for hacked accounts but faced challenges. Even after clicking on the "no longer have access to these" button, the options provided were linked to the hacker's email and the changed password. My account, under the name Emma Farson, originally used the email "[redacted]" and the phone number "[redacted]," both of which I no longer have access to. I urgently need to regain access to my account as it has important groups, including work-related ones. I am willing to provide any necessary identification details to recover my account.

I recently received an email seeking help regarding ads on Facebook. I want to clarify that I do not have a business page; I have a fan page instead. Apparently, Facebook requires businesses to have a published Facebook Page to run ads on their platform. They mentioned that there might be some recent advertising activity linked to an unpublished Page. They informed me that this Page will be automatically republished on June 28 to ensure no disruption in ad campaigns. If I prefer to keep my Page unpublished, they advised that I can choose to unpublish it after the 28th. However, they mentioned that starting July 9th, ads for unpublished pages will not be delivered on Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, or Audience Network. Thank you for the update, I. K.
