I am currently in the process of refinancing and needed to unlock my Experian Credit Report. Despite unlocking it initially for two days, the mortgage company delayed pulling the report until much later, causing it to freeze again. Despite multiple attempts to unfreeze it online, I have had no success. Following Experian's instructions, I sent the required documents via registered mail eight days ago. The letter was signed for by J. Swanson on April. While I managed to lift the freeze on the other credit bureaus, Experian remains a challenge. The mortgage company also requires my wife's report to be unfrozen, adding to the complexity. I am concerned about potential rate increases due to these delays. Is there any additional step I should take to expedite this process and ensure it is completed promptly? Thank you, Anthony J. Lucas [redacted] Delaware Dr Larkspur, CO [redacted]

I am in the process of refinancing my home mortgage, and I have frozen my credit with all three major credit bureaus. I managed to temporarily lift the freeze with Equifax and Transunion online, but I encountered issues with Experian. Despite providing the correct "Secret Answer" to their online query since I couldn't locate my PIN, I was prompted to send a request letter to Experian's Allen, TX address. I included copies of my driver's license, a bank statement displaying my address, and my social security card, but it has been over a week, and I have not received a response. When attempting to reset my PIN on their site, I faced the same request to mail a letter. Unfortunately, I have been unable to reach a live person at Experian to expedite resolving this matter. I am concerned that if Experian does not lift the freeze promptly, the temporary unfreezing with Equifax and Transunion may expire. Any suggestions on how to efficiently lift the Experian freeze would be greatly appreciated.

I recently received a call showing the local Hospital on my caller ID. Upon answering, a man claimed to be from Experian, mentioning that due to me making only the minimum payment on my credit card ending in [redacted], I was incurring a high interest rate. He proceeded to provide details about my card, such as the balance of $[redacted].00, a minimum payment of $[redacted].00, and requested me to pay $[redacted] and provide the last 4 digits of my social security number. His insistence on my good payment history with a promise of a reduced interest rate offered by the BBB left me uneasy. I declined to discuss further and terminated the call. This experience has left me questioning Experian's security measures. My financial information being recited back to me by an unknown person has raised concerns regarding the confidentiality of my file. I seek urgent advice on this matter.

I received a notice from Farm Bureau informing me that my insurance premium has been affected by a reduction in the F B advantage discount. They mentioned some specific codes that negatively impacted my insurance score: [redacted], [redacted], [redacted], and [redacted]. I have had a credit union account for over 15 years and can provide the necessary information to improve my score. I am unclear about the meaning of code [redacted]. In the past, I unknowingly hurt my credit score by opening and closing store charge accounts for discounts. I was unaware that this action negatively affected my credit each time I opened an account. I now realize the impact and will refrain from opening new accounts for discounts. I have contacted Lexis Nexis and Farm Bureau, who directed me to Experian for assistance. Despite my meticulous bill payment record, my current credit score does not reflect my responsible financial behavior. I am eager to address these issues and improve my score.

I have been trying to verify Experian's address in Allen, Texas but have been unsuccessful. I received an address from a credit card company but wanted to make sure it was legitimate. Despite checking multiple websites, I couldn't confirm the address. I also tried to contact them by phone, but couldn't reach a live person. The address I was provided was Experian, [redacted] Experian Parkway, P.O. Box [redacted], Allen, Texas 75[redacted]. The credit card company initially denied my credit application in a letter but then approved it and sent me the card. They have acknowledged the mistake but suggested I contact Experian to resolve the issue. It's confusing since the credit card company caused the problem. I appreciate any help in resolving this situation.

I need my credit unfrozen promptly as per the SBA's requirement for my loan application. Experian insists on unfreezing it solely through mail, causing delays. Despite my attempts over the phone and email, my credit remains frozen. The SBA is unable to expedite the process with Experian, hindering my loan approval. I urge Experian to speed up the unfreezing immediately. Please refer to the attached SBA communications for further details. I am available at the contact information provided by Paula Pipenger.

I am requesting the cancellation of the monthly $19 fee that has been charged to me for the past year. I previously requested this two weeks ago. Despite being provided with a link to view my score, I only saw the score and nothing else. I have not utilized the membership since acquiring it and would like a refund for the previous year. I have attempted to reach out via phone, but the lack of a direct line has led me to automated systems. I am a displeased customer and would appreciate prompt action in refunding my money. Thank you. Regards, Wendi H.

My wife was managing a mortgage payment to Wells Fargo for a vacation property we own, and I am also on the loan. Unfortunately, due to her terminal brain cancer diagnosis in March, she missed the March payment, leading Wells Fargo to report it to credit agencies. When I found out in May, I immediately called to pay the overdue and current payments. The representative mentioned they weren't reporting late payments during the mandatory COVID shutdown, including March, which was the only late payment. Despite explaining my situation, the representative insisted on forbearance, which I declined. They mentioned sending papers for future consideration, which I never received. Since then, I've been paying on time. However, when my local bank initiated a credit check for a loan, my score dropped significantly. I've contacted Wells Fargo multiple times to reverse their forbearance decision and fix the credit reporting issue, but they keep stalling and refusing to provide an email for documentation. I need to restore my credit promptly.

I filed for bankruptcy in [redacted] in Anniston, Alabama, and all accounts were closed on April 12 of that year. However, TransUnion and Equifax are incorrectly reporting a credit card account that was included in the bankruptcy. This error is causing my credit utilization to be unusually high at [redacted]%. Even after speaking with an Experian representative who stated they do not have the incorrect information, their system still shows a $15,[redacted] balance with a past due amount of over $[redacted],[redacted]. This misinformation is significantly impacting my ability to secure a loan, despite having only two open accounts in good standing - my house and another credit card. I have already filed a dispute, but it would greatly help if someone could review and correct this mistake on my credit reports from Equifax and Experian. It's crucial for me to have accurate credit information as I have been diligently maintaining a positive credit history since my bankruptcy.

My credit report was previously frozen due to fraud issues. Attempted to unfreeze it on May 31, [redacted], through Experian to purchase a Jeep. Experian requested a letter and documents for identity verification. Submitted the required documents promptly on June 2 via priority mail with tracking. Requested the report to be unfrozen from June 5 to 15. Documents were delivered on May 6 in Allen, TX, at 3:27 pm. However, as of today, the report remains frozen. Despite having a member ID, the mobile process remains unsuccessful. Facing the deadline to return the Jeep on June 15 if the dealer and bank cannot access the report. Seeking urgent assistance with this matter.

I have been charged by two credit card companies operated by Experian without my consent for memberships I did not sign up for, including Your Score and More and MyFreeCreditReportNow.com. I am requesting a refund of these unauthorized charges promptly. I have been trying to contact customer service all morning and have only reached operators, which has been frustrating. This situation is affecting my ability to pay other bills, especially in the current challenging times, and I am disappointed by the lack of understanding and service. I hope my money will be refunded promptly. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I am having trouble cancelling my membership and have spoken to five different people without any progress. I would like my membership cancelled immediately without further discussion. I do not understand why there is a charge for cancelling if I'm already a member. Please resolve this issue without redirecting me to another page.

I need help removing the credit freeze. In December [redacted], my purse was stolen, and when reporting my credit cards being taken, one company connected me with Experian. I was pressured into getting identity protection, which has not been helpful. I want this removed from my card immediately and need someone to contact me promptly. Trying to remove it by phone or online has been unsuccessful as my information cannot be found. Upon speaking with my Credit Union, I discovered Experian did not complete setting up an account for me and just placed the freeze on my information. This situation has been a nightmare, and I am considering filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and seeking legal advice.

I recently made a purchase at R.C Willey and wanted to charge it to my account with them. However, their credit department had to contact Experian to verify my credit standing. Experian mentioned there was a freeze on my account that needed to be lifted. After unfreezing the account online and receiving a single-use personal ID number, I shared this information with R.C Willey. Unfortunately, Experian still required the account to be permanently unfrozen. I'm having trouble navigating the website to resolve this and would appreciate assistance from a person. While I remember placing a freeze on my Equifax account in [redacted], I'm unsure about doing the same with Experian. The situation is confusing and frustrating as I have visited R.C Willey multiple times without a solution. Both R.C Willey and I seem to be facing difficulties with Experian's user interface.

I currently have a credit freeze on my credit report but I have been having issues removing it without the pin. I contacted the company and they informed me that the freeze cannot be lifted over the phone, so I submitted all necessary identity documents online about a week ago. Despite my efforts, the freeze is still in place, causing problems when trying to buy a car. I even purchased credit monitoring services to help me reach a customer service representative, but I have been unsuccessful. I previously had a similar issue with Equifax, and after faxing them my identity verification, the freeze was lifted promptly. I am struggling to find a resolution and it is affecting my ability to purchase a vehicle as dealerships are unable to proceed due to the credit freeze on my record.

The impact on my family is significant, and resolving this would help us move forward, especially during these challenging times. I'm hoping to connect with customer service again to address this urgent matter. Thank you. -Lang

I am having trouble accessing my Experian account due to issues with federal surveillance. Multiple attempts to login failed, resulting in a prompt to change my password. However, despite changing it repeatedly and entering the correct password, I am still unable to view my credit report. I received an email about my credit score dropping due to a closed account, possibly due to unauthorized activity. The information on the credit report sent to me by mail earlier this year had my name misspelled as "Jane Kimberlyn Reezes Decker" instead of Jane Kimberlin Reeves Decker. My SSN is [redacted]27, and my current address is [redacted] Lewrosa Way, Santa Rosa, CA [redacted]. My former address is [redacted] S. 59th Street, Richmond, CA [redacted], where I have lived for 20 years. My membership ID is [redacted][redacted].

After providing all the necessary information to the automated phone system to lift the credit freeze, we believed the process was completed. However, we were then instructed to send the same details through mail, causing confusion and frustration. We are in urgent need of removing the freeze as we require a car loan that necessitates a credit inquiry. This is crucial for us to replace our old vehicle promptly.
