Yesterday I did a Temporary "Remove" of my account freeze. I needed to allow access for a credit card application. I entered a range of dates (* ** days) for the freeze to be inactive. The CC application issue was resolved in ten seconds and I want to put the freeze back into effect immediately. Experian offers NO means to do this. I NEED TO SPEAK WITH A PERSON* none of the phone numbers on the web allow access to a human being. By the time a snail mail request goes through, the 'unfreeze' will have reached my initial **** end date.

How GetHuman3398938 fixed the problem
I called Experian (all service numbers are automated) and indicated that I was calling about Fraud*Freeze. I gave the requested ID info. When “it” asked if I had my PIN, I responded No. I indicated that I needed help with both my User Name and PIN. I was transferred to a human being. I quickly explained that I didn’t need help with those things, but did need help that I couldn’t get via auto-call or on their site. After asking me questions to verify my identity she put the freeze back on my account—-which is what I wanted. This took way longer than it should have!
