I made a booking through hotels.com for a stay at Tropical Isle Resort on Anna Maria Island for March 9, [redacted]. When we arrived, we were directed to a two-story hotel across from a public beach instead of the beautiful resort in the pictures. They first placed us on the second floor, but my 77-year-old husband couldn't manage the stairs. After requesting to be moved downstairs, we found the room to be musty with no linens. Feeling deceived, we explained the situation to the staff who offered other properties, but we opted to leave. I booked a flight with Porter Airlines using my VISA debit card. The Expedia itinerary number is [redacted][redacted] and the email on file is [redacted] Despite the reservation being canceled, I have not received the air ticket or PNR number. I would like clarification on why this occurred and confirmation that the fare has not been charged to my account. Moreover, when can I expect the refund process to be completed? Shortly after, a new reservation was made by my friend using his credit card and email [redacted] for the same itinerary. The new Expedia itinerary number is [redacted][redacted]. I am now awaiting the e-ticket and PNR number for this updated booking. I appreciate your assistance and request responses to both email addresses.

Regarding confirmation number 9876SC113899, I have been in touch with Expedia regarding my recent stay at a Cancun hotel, which was meant to be for three nights, not four. Despite multiple conversations with Expedia representatives both before and after my stay, the hotel claimed there was no confirmation to adjust the reservation to three nights. During the second conversation, I was assured that Expedia would contact the hotel and refund 25% of the charges, roughly $[redacted], to my AMEX card. However, this refund has not been processed yet. As a result, I have initiated a dispute with AMEX for the 25% refund. Despite my attempts to reach the hotel directly, I have been unable to get a response. I am disappointed by the lack of resolution and flexibility in changing or canceling my reservation, as initially promised by Expedia. I seek your assistance in ensuring the promised credit is applied promptly.

I prepaid for a rental truck with NU Car Rentals through Expedia. The reservation was non-changeable and non-cancelable. I contacted the company in advance to inquire about the deposit amount, which I was informed would be around $[redacted]. Upon arrival within the 24-hour window with all necessary documents, including cash and multiple debit cards to cover the deposit, the NU Car Rentals representative refused to rent to me as a "local" upon seeing my Arizona driver's license. They insisted on a $[redacted] deposit, which I agreed to pay using a different method, but they ultimately declined. Despite offering alternative payment solutions, they cited two reasons related to my local status and refused to rent to me. Instead, they suggested contacting Expedia for a refund. I had to arrange for alternative transportation and obtained a letter from NU Car Rentals confirming the situation. I am seeking a prompt refund since the company has already released the funds to Expedia following the cancellation.

I booked a room with your company last night, but upon arrival, I found the front check-in counter closed, leaving me unable to access the room I had paid for. I was forced to spend additional money on another hotel as a result. The app did not mention any closure, and I was still charged despite not being able to check in, which was frustrating and led to a waste of money. This experience was particularly disappointing as I returned from a military deployment and had limited accommodation options. I have been a loyal customer of Expedia, and this incident has left me dissatisfied. I would like to dispute the charge for the room that I was unable to use.

I am currently at the Natural Bridge Hotel in Virginia. I made a reservation through Expedia, but it somehow booked for July 13th instead of tonight, even though I never selected that date. After waiting and being unable to reach anyone, I ended up booking directly with the hotel. The hotel is willing to help, but Expedia is causing issues by not allowing changes. I am hoping for a full refund of $[redacted] for this error. If not, I will avoid using Expedia in the future and will inform others. I have been trying to contact Expedia to resolve this quickly, but have not had any success.

I made a reservation for a motel room in Foster, Victoria, Australia, on 28/06/22 for $[redacted]. Unfortunately, the room had a problematic main door that let in cold winds all night, making the heating ineffective in the cold climate. Additionally, the television did not function properly on any channel. I spoke with the manager in the morning, who acknowledged the door issue and agreed it needed replacement. However, he mentioned he couldn't provide a refund since the booking was made through Expedia. I believe Expedia misrepresented the room on their site, and contacting them has been challenging, especially with their unhelpful virtual agent.

I have been trying to resolve this issue for a week now! I was assured that my reservation was canceled and wouldn't be charged to my checking account, but it was. I have yet to receive a refund despite contacting customer service multiple times. Last Saturday, on 6/25/22, my grandson and I made a reservation at The Budget Inn in The Dalles, Oregon. We only needed one room, so we canceled his reservation. However, the payment for his reservation was still processed by the company.

I made a reservation at a hotel in Drummondville, Quebec under Brenda Fortin. My email is [redacted] I booked a room at Hotel Motel Drummond and was confirmed for the ground floor. Upon arrival, the receptionist changed my room from [redacted] to [redacted] without consent, despite my email confirmation for the ground floor. She was rude, cursed at me, and insisted on the second floor. After speaking with the manager, Lisa assured me I wouldn't be charged. While waiting, she rented out the ground floor room she had given me. I left and found a better room elsewhere. I am requesting a refund for the room that was double-booked. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Additionally, another guest complained about a dirty room and was also mistreated by the same receptionist.

Regarding my Expedia car rental reservation on Wednesday, June 8th (Itinerary # [redacted][redacted]), I would like to bring to your attention the issue I faced at the pickup location. Upon arrival, they did not have a car available for me, and the representative mentioned that Expedia does not verify their inventory when making reservations. Consequently, there was a waiting period of 3 to 5 days for a new rental. I used my debit card ending in [redacted] to pay $30 on 06/08/92 for this rental, which ultimately did not materialize due to the unavailability of a car. I made a reservation with Routes car rental through Expedia on June 2. I planned to travel out of state, but was unsure if it was permitted based on the rental policy. For three days, I tried contacting Expedia and Routes without success. The policy mentions a fee for out-of-state travel. Lacking clarification, I decided to proceed and pay the extra fee upon arrival. Upon doing so, I was informed that out-of-state trips were not allowed, and no refund would be provided. I have been addressing this for over a month, seeking a resolution. I paid $[redacted].67 for a car I couldn't use and didn't receive a refund. I had a disappointing experience with Expedia when booking a car rental for my trip. I paid $[redacted].03 on May 31st for a rental at SJO airport from June 16th to June 27th through Dollar. Upon arrival, Dollar informed me that Expedia booked the wrong dates (June 15th-27th) and had canceled my reservation without transferring the payment. Despite promises of a refund, Expedia did not reimburse me. I had to spend $1,[redacted] on a different rental due to the mix-up. My desired resolution is either reimbursement for the $1,[redacted] rental or $[redacted].03 plus $[redacted] for the time spent dealing with this issue. This included two hours on June 16th at SJO, three hours on July 9th on the phone with VRBO and Expedia, and another two hours managing the situation with my kids. I made a reservation but missed the date due to signal issues. The transaction went through just after midnight, booking Saturday instead of Friday at Microtel Inn & Suite by Wyndham College Station. I didn't have a chance to correct it. We only need Friday night, not Saturday. I'm seeking a refund for the extra night. The app adjusted the date to Saturday without confirmation. I had booked a round trip from Portland, Oregon to Lisbon, Portugal. On my return journey, I had no boarding pass from Lisbon to continue to Toronto, Vancouver, and back to Portland. After waiting for six hours, I was informed that my flight was changed and I was not ticketed. This led me to spend the night in Toronto as Air Canada claimed the issue needed to be resolved by Expedia. Upon checking my emails, I found communication from Expedia stating my return flights within Canada and to the U.S. were canceled, which I was unaware of due to updates from Air Canada. I am seeking a refund for expenses incurred, including a Toronto hotel stay and a self-booked one-way flight to Portland today.

I made a reservation with Buckle Street Studios for July 4-7, but had to change my arrival date to July 6 due to a family emergency. After contacting an Expedia agent via chat to request a refund for the nights I wouldn't be staying, I was advised to wait for further assistance. Unfortunately, Expedia informed me that they could not process the refund and the booking was canceled for a no-show. This situation led to an unexpected charge from Buckle Street Studio upon arrival. I possess an email from the Head Host confirming a full refund is possible and can provide it upon request. Hello, I'm Kim Wilbraham. I made a reservation with you for August 6th, check out on the 7th, at the Royal National Hotel in London for three people. I have not received a booking confirmation. The hotel confirmed that the reservation was made through you and advised me to contact you for the confirmation email. When I tried your virtual chat, I got repetitive automated responses. I don't have any itinerary numbers as I haven't received any information from you. The hotel has the booking, so I'm confused by your customer service saying there's no booking. I reserved a room at Shilo Inn and Suites in Salem, Oregon for July 9th, [redacted]. The booking was prepaid on May 11th. I confirmed it through Expedia the week before my stay. When I tried to check in at 5pm on July 9th, the front desk said they had no room for me. They mentioned that over 10 reservations faced the same issue as mine - booked online but never confirmed by the hotel. I was given a phone number and a confirmation code to call for a refund. Unfortunately, despite my efforts over the past week, they refuse to refund me as it apparently doesn't meet their cancellation policy.
