We booked a vacation package with your company and provided itinerary number [redacted][redacted]. Upon arriving at Cancun airport, the Expedia representative did not have our names for the shuttle transport to the hotel. Despite our attempts to clarify the situation, they denied us the transport because our names were not on their list. We ended up getting private transport for $[redacted] USD, which was unexpected as transport is usually included in our All-inclusive packages. We are concerned that a similar issue might occur on our way back to the airport. Could you please verify that transport will be available for our return journey including the date, time, and contact information? Otherwise, we will make our own arrangements and request a full refund from Expedia.

I have a reservation at Oceanfront Beach Resort in Phuket, Thailand, booked via Hotels.com for December 2nd to December 9th, [redacted], with booking number [redacted][redacted] and the total amount paid is [redacted].83 ZAR. I'm facing challenges as the South African government's travel restrictions due to the Omicron variant prevent me from traveling. Despite the terms and conditions of the booking, I've contacted Hotels.com for a full refund. However, after several attempts, Hotels.com is facing difficulties with the hotel, which claims that Expedia is responsible. I'm Anthony Bodenstein, and I'm determined to get a refund. I've received emails from Hotels.com acknowledging their efforts, but now I'm advised to reach out to Expedia to resolve this matter promptly.

Hello, I'm Jim. My wife, brother-in-law, and I, all in our 70s, have been invited to Disney World by a retired executive. We are looking to stay on Jan. 24, 25, and 26, [redacted]. We found two properties on your website that interest us: the Four-Bedroom Townhouse Close to Disney [redacted] and Lakeview Gardens, both in Kissimmee. I'd like to inquire if we can waive the property fee since we won't be using any amenities and will only be sleeping at one of these locations. If this is possible, we will proceed with booking one of these properties. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter. Sincerely, Jim

(Itinerary # [redacted][redacted]): I made a flight booking on Expedia but noticed a $80 price difference compared to booking directly on the airline's website just minutes later. The customer service representative mentioned I could cancel the booking before 11:59 pm Vancouver time. However, when I attempted to cancel, Expedia had already charged my credit card and deducted my TD travel points. I prefer not to cancel now that my funds and travel points are deducted. I've requested Expedia to refund me the $80 price difference. Amount Paid Through Expedia: $[redacted].40 Amount on Air France Website: $[redacted].82 Thank you, Asad

Hello, I recently made a booking for SHERWIN WILBERT MCDONALD and JANE ANN JOHNMCDONALD with confirmation number WNWHPH. However, there seems to be an error in the last name provided for JANE ANN, which should be JOHNMC DONALD. I kindly request that the necessary correction be made to her name on this booking to prevent any issues before their departure scheduled for Tuesday, the fourteenth of December [redacted] at 12:00 pm. I appreciate your prompt attention to this matter. Thank you, Frances Roopchand-Outhar

I wanted to purchase another ticket for my friend on the same flight. However, your virtual assistant mistakenly cancelled my flight without confirming, assuming I wanted to rebook to be with my friend. I explained I needed to keep my original reservation as I have a work meeting. Now, due to this error, I have a 6 1/2-hour layover which jeopardizes my job. It's frustrating that the virtual assistant assumed instead of confirming. I urgently need assistance to rectify this situation as I cannot risk losing my job, especially during Christmas.

I recently booked a vacation with flights included. I selected first class, but during checkout, I was unable to choose seats, which seemed odd at the time. Upon checking in for our flights last night, I noticed that one of the four flights is not in first class. I am puzzled and concerned as I struggle with severe tendinitis in my knees, making it very uncomfortable for me to sit in coach. I would appreciate it if you could clarify this issue. Thank you for your attention to this matter. If needed, please reach out to me at [redacted].

I made reservations for a flight from Seoul to Manila to connect with a flight from Salt Lake City to Seoul. Unfortunately, I encountered issues in Salt Lake City due to visa requirements. Although I obtained an online visa eventually, it delayed my journey significantly. Despite having purchased insurance through Expedia, they are only offering a voucher instead of a refund to my Visa. I believe Expedia should handle the refund directly since they were the ones who sold me the insurance. It is frustrating to deal with the situation and I have been experiencing long wait times and being put on hold when trying to contact Expedia for assistance.

I am awaiting a refund of $70.94 for a cancelled reservation at Red Roof Inn in Santee, SC, on November 14, [redacted]. I received an email from Expedia confirming the cancellation and promising a full refund. Despite multiple attempts, I have not received the refund. Red Roof Inn claims Expedia is responsible for the refund, while Expedia insists the hotel should issue it. It has been three weeks, and I am still waiting. Please process my refund promptly, or I will be forced to report this issue to the Better Business Bureau.

I am based in Queensland, Australia, and tried to book a holiday within Queensland on Expedia's Australian site. However, after three attempts, I was redirected to the American site unknowingly. The booking went through, but I discovered I was overcharged $[redacted] when checking with my bank. Despite several calls to Expedia, I received unsatisfactory explanations, blaming the currency conversion due to booking from the U.S. They even claimed the Australian accommodation didn't offer breakfast, which was conflicting with my original booking. I contacted the accommodation and Jetstar directly to confirm these details. Now, after multiple calls, I am seeking a refund for the overcharge and requested to use my accumulated Expedia points to cover the cost of the breakfast that was initially included. Hoping to resolve this issue promptly. - Kurt K. Contact number [redacted].

Hello Team, I need urgent assistance with my reservation made through biworldwide. The hotel has indicated that Expedia is handling the booking process. I accidentally booked the wrong dates and would like to change my reservation from December 18 to December 17, [redacted]. The corrected dates should now be from December 17 to December 19 instead of December 18 to December 20, which the hotel has approved. I would appreciate your prompt attention to rectify this error. Thank you in advance.

I recently made a reservation (no [redacted][redacted]) for two rooms at the "Holiday Inn Express Denver Downtown" through Expedia for May 29 to 31, [redacted]. My card was supposed to be charged after May 22, but I noticed on December 11 that I was charged $[redacted].20 twice. While I find this unusual, I can accept it. However, I want to confirm two things: 1) if I have the right to cancel if I can't make it on the scheduled dates due to an unforeseen circumstance like being impacted by Covid-19, and 2) that the charge is related to my original reservation and not due to any fraudulent activity on my credit card. I reached out to the hotel via email without a response. I would appreciate your prompt assistance. Thank you.

I contacted Expedia on December 2 to cancel my flight from Raleigh, NC to SFO on December 16 (Expedia itinerary [redacted][redacted]). The agent had some trouble canceling it and mentioned opening a case file, promising resolution within 48 hours. Unfortunately, I never received an update from Expedia and now I am receiving boarding information. It seems my reservation was not canceled as requested. I kindly ask for the reservation to be canceled and a full credit to be issued. Thank you, Braden Rippetoe.

My wife and I, Lonnie Rivas, had a booking at Gold Miner Inn, Ascend Hotel in Grass Valley, CA from Dec 8 to Dec 11, [redacted] (Itinerary #[redacted][redacted]). Due to my wife's eye problems, I needed to cancel two nights on Dec 8 & 9, [redacted]. I was reassured by your representative that the hotel confirmed there would be no charge, but I was told the entire itinerary needed to be canceled. This confused me, but I agreed. However, I declined the offer to rebook for Dec 10, [redacted], given the situation. On Dec 10, the hotel called asking about our arrival, but I had been informed that the reservation was entirely canceled. This experience was unusual for us as loyal customers, and I believe the employee handling my case was possibly trying to charge extra for a last-minute booking. I trust that your company ensures employees provide their names for accountability in such situations. Lonnie Rivas

I need to ensure that any bookings made through Expedia at Captiva Resort in Sarasota are canceled. I initially booked Dec 16-20 but attempted to change to Dec 14-18 with no availability, so I made a reservation through Bookings.com instead. Now, on December 16th, I am receiving notifications about two bookings through Expedia. When I try to seek clarification on the Expedia website, I can only find information in Spanish, which I don't understand. I do not want to be charged for bookings that I believed were canceled back in November.

On May 12, [redacted], Expedia charged me for a Studio 6 room in Mountlake Terrace, WA. Upon arrival on May 14, [redacted], Studio 6 informed me there was no booking through Expedia and charged me directly. I have been attempting to resolve these duplicate charges for six months without success. Studio 6 provided various explanations until recently sending me a receipt for the direct payment. Despite numerous attempts, I have been unable to reach Expedia for assistance. If I do not receive a response, I will escalate the matter to the Washington State Attorney General's fraud unit. My name is W. Thompson from Seattle, WA.

Hello, we recently booked two apartments at Suites Dorchester in Miami Beach through a Travel Agency. I have an Alaska Air flight credit of $[redacted].20 booked through Expedia that was set to expire on Dec. 6, [redacted]. Alaska Air extended all credit expiration dates to Dec. 31, [redacted]. Despite this extension, when I contacted an Alaska Air agent, they mentioned the credit is with Expedia and couldn't assist me. The Expedia representative, however, stated the ticket was with Alaska Air and could not help me either. Engaging with both parties for nearly two hours led to a stalemate, each claiming the ticket was not with them. The Alaska Air agent was based in Boise and the Expedia representative was from India with limited English proficiency. He seemed unable to understand my concerns, repeating the same information. I believe the credit is not visible on Expedia due to its expired status, not because it belongs to Alaska Air. I did not receive any emails from Alaska Air regarding the credit, but I can view it on Expedia with all the relevant details. I am seeking assistance to resolve this matter before Dec. 31, [redacted], to ensure I do not forfeit the flight credit. Thank you, Mina
