I was only charged for a part of a package I bought from you, specifically the inbound ticket from Spirit Airlines. Spirit confirmed that they did not apply any discount. We have evidence and emails to support this. Spirit mentioned that since it was a package deal purchased through you, you were the ones who bought those tickets and applied the discount. We need the refund for that amount, as the package deal was not completed, and we had to purchase another package (also with you but with flights at different times and, of course, with different airlines). Thank you.

I was charged only for part of a package I purchased with your company, specifically the return ticket from Spirit Airlines. After verifying with Spirit, they have confirmed no discount was applied. We have evidence from emails to support this. Spirit mentioned that since it was a package deal with your company, you purchased these tickets and therefore provided the discount. We request a refund for that amount, as we had to buy a different package when the initial one did not go through (also with your company but at a different time with different airlines). Thank you.

I purchased a plane ticket via Expedia for today, December 1, [redacted], from Guadalajara to Tijuana at 6:30 am. Unfortunately, my flight was canceled, and Expedia offered the next available flight at 5:47 pm. I am very anxious to return home, especially since I am diabetic and ran out of supplies. My family is expecting me in Tijuana. Sadly, both the 3 pm and probably the 5:47 pm flights are delayed. Exhausted, I just want to reach home. Regrettably, I missed my 4:20 pm appointment with my glaucoma doctor and also have an appointment at 8:10 am tomorrow, December 2nd. I kindly request assistance in canceling my flight and processing a refund so I can book a flight with Aeromexico.

We had a motel booking at Best Western at the Vines in Napa for November 2nd and 3rd through Expedia. Due to my recent surgery at Stanford, we need to extend our stay by one day. Can we cancel the appointment for December 2nd or reschedule it? We have always been loyal customers and would be very grateful for your assistance. Itinerary number for Napa: [redacted][redacted]. Thank you! Dennis and Debbi B. [redacted]

On November 17, I reserved a room at the Super 8 in Nampa, Idaho for November 19 and 20 via Expedia at $[redacted].01 per night. I canceled the reservation the same day. However, on November 22, I was charged $[redacted].01 for a night at the Super 8, despite not staying there due to my cancellation. The motel states they cannot assist and directed me to contact you for resolution. My Mastercharge Credit card ends in [redacted]. Could you clarify why I was billed for a night I had canceled?

I recently made a reservation at a motel that turned out to be unsafe. Out of around 40 rooms, only about 5 seemed to have intact windows, with the rest either boarded up or broken. After reading some reviews, I decided to cancel my reservation. Despite the initial promise of free cancellation, the motel refused to refund me. When I contacted Expedia, they were unhelpful and even hung up on me. I tried calling again asking for a manager, but was told none were available. This lack of management is unacceptable to me, and I am now looking into contacting the home office about this issue.

I recently stayed at the Red Roof Inn in Miamisburg, Ohio on October 12, [redacted]. When I called to reserve a room, I was given a different price than initially quoted. I requested a receipt but was informed that the printer was not working, leaving me unsure of the final charge until I returned to Texas. Apparently, all employees were let go, and replacements from Michigan were brought in to run the motel. Upon check-in, we encountered issues with our room key and discovered the bed unchanged, trash around, and an overall unclean room. Despite being moved to another room, disturbances during the night, including roaches, noise, and unprofessional behavior outside, made our stay very unpleasant. The staff rudely awakened us early in the morning to inform us we were in the wrong room. After contacting the motel multiple times with no resolution, I was advised to contact Expedia for assistance. The experience was unacceptable, and I believe a refund is warranted due to the misrepresentation of the room rate and the poor conditions of the property. I hope to hear back from you soon. - Larry Giolitto Sr. ([redacted] Vassar Dr., Frisco, TX [redacted])

I contacted Expedia yesterday to cancel a reservation at The Boulevard Inn for Rachel Todd without incurring any penalties. Although we agreed on this, the reservation still appears active. When I reached out to Expedia to address this, I was directed to call [redacted]33, an overseas number, which seemed puzzling to me. The representative mentioned needing to pass on an itinerary number to the hotel, which struck me as an unusual procedure. Cancelling a reservation after receiving confirmation from both the guest and Expedia should not involve such complexities. The itinerary number is #[redacted][redacted], and the reservation number is #[redacted]. I kindly request assistance to promptly resolve this matter and reflect the cancellation correctly in the system.

I had a frustrating experience with Expedia customer service today. I was trying to apply a credit to my upcoming trip, but the representative, "Joseph," encountered issues with his system. Initially, he quoted the credit amount at $[redacted], but later informed me of a system update that increased the ticket cost to $[redacted]. Despite my request to speak to a supervisor, "Joseph" claimed there was no supervisor available and kept me on hold multiple times. After nearly two hours on the call, he managed to adjust the ticket back to $[redacted] but could not help me book another passenger. The entire process was inconvenient and inefficient, leaving me dissatisfied with Expedia's service. I doubt I will be using their services in the future.

I have been a loyal user of Expedia for several years. Unfortunately, a mistake occurred with my booking, resulting in being charged for an extra night that I did not stay. I have contacted my credit card company to dispute the charge, and they have confirmed their support in resolving this issue. I recommend hiring staff fluent in English for better communication as waiting 45 minutes to speak with a manager is unacceptable. If Expedia insists on charging me for both nights, despite only staying one night, I will have no choice but to cease using your services. It is disheartening to consider ending my loyalty over such a seemingly simple matter, especially when I have verified that the payment was processed with the hotel. I urge Expedia to rectify this error promptly to avoid losing a long-time customer.

I recently discovered that my Expedia account was compromised. My December 25 reservation at a Courtyard hotel in South Padre, originally booked for September 29, has vanished. Instead, two unfamiliar reservations for a Fairfield Inn and a Red Roof Inn in Sandusky, Ohio, have been added to my account without my knowledge. Despite my efforts over the past week to resolve this issue, contacting Expedia multiple times daily, I have not received any assistance in rectifying the situation. I have encountered various unhelpful responses from Expedia representatives, leaving me frustrated and without a solution. Access to a supervisor or someone who can genuinely assist me has proven challenging.

Dear Expedia, I booked a reservation for three employees via Expedia with the itinerary number [redacted][redacted] for December 4th to December 5th, [redacted]. Could you kindly provide a complete VAT receipt for this reservation, stating our business address below? Originally, three rooms were booked and paid in full in November. Subsequently, two rooms were cancelled, and refunds are being processed. I require receipts for the initial, interim, and final payments. Please confirm if you can assist with this request. Let me know if further details are necessary. Thank you, Ken

Dollar Rental required a $[redacted] credit hold due to using a debit card for local taxes payment, although the rental was prepaid. This prevented finding another car elsewhere. Attempts to get a refund from Dollar and Expedia were futile with long waits on hold.

I made a reservation for Daytona Beach from November 10-15th with your company. When we reached the hotel, it was closed. Stressed and tired, my partner and I quickly booked a room elsewhere. The next morning, I contacted Expedia and they arranged for us to stay at the Hilton Gardens Inn. I noticed a $[redacted].53 charge on my credit card statement on November 10th, which I did not approve. I would like to dispute this charge. Can you help me with this matter? Thank you for your assistance.

I recently attempted to cancel a booking I made through Expedia for a ski vacation in Denver. Despite the fine print stating there would be no cancellation fee, I was surprised to be told the reservation is now nonrefundable. I will need to check my credit card statement to confirm if the payment has been processed. I am seeking clarification on whether I will receive a reimbursement if I cancel or if I will not be charged if I haven't been already. My reservation is for December 15 with confirmation number [redacted]6. Thank you, Kaye J. I also utilized Expedia points towards this reservation around October 16.

I noticed while reviewing my bank charges that hotels.com is debiting my account without providing clear information other than their name. One particular charge stands out as it mentions Washington, which doesn't match my other transactions. Could you please explain why only this one debit mentions Washington? Thank you, E. Bell.

Hello, I made a flight reservation for December 30th from Dallas to Madrid along with a protection plan. The reference numbers are as follows: Itinerary #[redacted][redacted] Policy #[redacted] The policy I purchased only allows for cancellation related to coronavirus. I am interested in knowing if it is possible to reschedule the flight for a different date and if any fees would apply. Additionally, I would like to inquire if it is feasible to use the amount paid for a different destination on a different date. Thank you, Laura A.

Hello, this is Alaa. I booked a cruise trip on November 26, [redacted], from Barcelona through Expedia. I selected the highest room category, made the payment, and received the ticket. However, upon arriving at the port, I was refused check-in because of my Saudi nationality, which was not allowed. I questioned why the ticket was issued with a Saudi passport, and the staff directed me back to the travel agent. The manager of the ship was unhelpful, advising me to seek a refund or solution from the travel agent. It was not my mistake that I received the ticket. Since I booked through Expedia, I am looking for some form of compensation.

I'm writing about my flight experience on October 13, [redacted], to Las Vegas. Unfortunately, I wasn't informed about the cancellation and had to stay overnight at Miami International Airport. The next day, I had to fly to Phoenix International Airport to catch a connecting flight to Las Vegas. However, I was denied entry onto the flight to my final destination, and I'm uncertain about the reason for this denial. I filed a complaint with both Expedia and American Airlines, but I have not received any further communication from either of them.

I canceled my stay at the Super 8 hotel in Paso, Texas on December 4th and 5th due to COVID reasons on November 27th. However, on December 4th, my bank notified me of a $[redacted] withdrawal from the hotel. When I contacted the hotel, they advised me to speak with Expedia. I reached out to Expedia on the same day, December 4th, and provided all my details to a customer service representative. Unfortunately, as of now, the issue has not been resolved, and it has caused a negative balance in my account.
