I tried to cancel my hotel reservations on Expedia's website, but the function isn't working. I emailed them requesting to cancel two bookings for Kindler Hotel in Lincoln, NE from 29 September to 3 October, and Magnolia Hotel in Omaha, NE from 3 October to 6 October, both under my name Neil Sunderland for two adults. I provided two possible email addresses used for booking. I'm awaiting confirmation of the cancellation request. If you can assist with getting these reservations cancelled, I would appreciate it.Thank you.

Hello! I urgently need a response from a service agent. Yesterday afternoon, I purchased a round-trip ticket. I received confirmation for the outbound flight, but I never received confirmation for the return flight via email. However, the full amount of $[redacted].09 has been charged. I need you to contact me urgently at [redacted] or [redacted]. I do not have the tickets in my email, the itineraries, or any confirmation. I only have confirmation of the amount charged. I have been a loyal customer for over 6 years.

I have been trying for months now to resolve an issue from May 3, [redacted]. I have filed a dispute with my bank as well. On May 3, [redacted], I attempted to go online to purchase two airline tickets for my children to visit their father. My son was 13 at the time, and my daughter was 10. At the end of the booking process, a message stated I needed to contact the airline due to the children's age. I chose to book directly with Southwest airlines. Later, I noticed a charge of [redacted].54 on my bank statement from Expedia, which I didn't receive any confirmation for. Despite contacting my bank and submitting a dispute, I haven't been able to reach anyone at Expedia to resolve the issue. As a single mother, this sum is significant to me, and I will consider escalating this matter if necessary. I seek a refund or credit for a future purchase from Expedia.

I am attempting to update my itinerary #[redacted][redacted], but I cannot locate it in my account. Instead, I see two reservations for the Kempinski hotel in Doha. I opened a chat about this yesterday with an Expedia agent who mentioned needing approval from the hotel. I am requesting Expedia to reach out to Ronda from the hotel to make the necessary changes starting the reservation on Oct 3 instead of Oct 2, with the checkout on Oct 5. I purchased my original flights for travel from April 4-11, [redacted], but due to a travel ban in Indiana because of COVID, I received airline credits from Expedia totaling $1,[redacted].60. Later, I booked a round trip for travel from Indianapolis, IN to Tampa, FL on September 11-18, [redacted]. Unfortunately, my spouse tested positive for COVID on September 4. On September 7, I called Expedia to cancel our flights with American Airlines for September, as we needed to quarantine until September 13. Despite multiple attempts, I have not received a complete summary of my account activity from Expedia since January 23, [redacted]. They claim not to have a record of my cancellation, resulting in my tickets being suspended. I have travel insurance and need all billing documentation to claim the expenses. Expedia told me I no longer have credits available, insisting I contact American Airlines directly. I just want a refund of $1,[redacted].60, as attempts to resolve this with customer service have been unsuccessful.

I had a terrible experience with my hotel reservation. They made a mistake for the third time, causing us to miss my daughter's wedding. The hotel was changed without notifying us, resulting in a detour, a bad-smelling room, and rude staff. Despite my complaints, I only received a $25 refund. I am extremely upset about this and plan to contact the Better Business Bureau and my lawyer. I want my accounts deleted, a full refund of $[redacted], and a resolution to this issue. Upon my arrival around 12:40 a.m., I encountered inappropriate behavior outside my room, which made me feel unsafe. Inside, I found a roach on the table, mold in the bathroom, hair in the refrigerator, mold around the lamp, and a non-functional TV remote. The room also had a dirty and moldy ironing board without an iron, and the water was cold. As someone allergic to mold, the smell was overwhelming, causing me to check out after just two hours. The clerk's initial response was unfriendly, but she improved when I mentioned reporting the issues. I informed her I would be checking out before the manager's 10 a.m. visit on Saturday to seek a refund. The condition of the room was not conducive to my health, especially after just being discharged from the hospital.

My scheduled flight for my honeymoon to Cabo, Mexico from September 13-19 was changed by Spirit Airlines, extending the return date to the US to October 2. As a result, I had to cancel the flights and hotel. Despite having trip protection, I was still within the cancellation policy timeline. After canceling both the hotel and trip protection online, Expedia refunded the hotel and airfare but refused to refund the trip protection canceled on September 12. I have contacted various representatives via phone and email to escalate the refund as there was no need for trip protection on a canceled trip. Recently, I even made another booking for a trip to Los Angeles during the same dates assuming the refund would come through. Expedia claims I did not cancel the trip protection, but I did.

I need assistance with correcting a system error on my booking for four passengers: Lilliana Martinez, Nayelee Alanix Maiz, Glorian Esther Colon, and Elizabeth Claudio. The issue lies in the repetition of Elizabeth Claudio's name, which should actually be Glorian Esther Colon. I've been attempting to reach a live representative regarding a hotel booking made through Expedia for Oct 1-3. The room we stayed in was supposed to be fixed, but the door wouldn't lock, leaving us feeling unsafe. The front desk couldn't change our room due to unavailability, as the hotel was fully booked due to an event. After speaking to the manager, she assured us of a refund from Expedia, approved by the hotel. Despite this, we haven't received the refund within the promised 5-7 days. Upon contacting the hotel, the new management refused to provide any details, claiming a changeover. I'm frustrated as I can't reach anyone to resolve this issue.

There was an error in booking a non-refundable reservation on your website for The Westin Palace Madrid from November 1st to 6th. I am aware of the policies in place but am looking for a more viable option, such as rescheduling for a future date in May or June of next year or canceling without a penalty. If no alternatives can be provided, the full cost of the reservation will be charged to me as the assistant making the booking, which is not feasible. On October 13, [redacted], I attempted to book a flight and hotel package through Expedia. Unfortunately, I encountered errors when trying to make the payment, and after a second unsuccessful attempt, I didn't receive an email with the itinerary number. I proceeded to make alternative arrangements with another airline. Surprisingly, three days later, I noticed a charge on my credit card for the flights I thought weren't booked. Despite my efforts to contact Expedia without the itinerary number, I couldn't speak to a human representative. American Airlines confirmed the flight was in their system but couldn't assist as the booking was made through Expedia. I am at a loss as the virtual agent is unable to resolve my issue. I made a hotel booking which I wrongly assumed was for the same day. Upon arrival, the hotel informed me the booking was actually for the next day and they had no available rooms for that day. I requested to cancel and get a refund for the following day instead. The hotel advised me to contact Expedia for the refund. When attempting to reach Expedia, I could only speak with a virtual agent. Upon returning to the hotel the next day, they claimed it appeared I hadn't been charged. However, my bank statement showed the charge. The hotel assured me the refund would take about 7 days. I escalated by filing a dispute with my bank, receiving a temporary credit later removed. I initially thought the credit was from Expedia. Now, I'm still struggling to get my $[redacted] refund for a room I didn't use, feeling frustrated and misled by the process.

We arrived at the Barcello in Puerto Vallarta and were shocked to discover that half of the pool was undergoing construction. Unfortunately, the swim-up bar was closed, and the exchange rate was 17.5 to the US dollar. I attempted to convert money at the check-in area, but a Spanish woman cut in front of me, leaving me feeling invisible. This experience has not lived up to the description provided, and we are looking to change hotels tomorrow to make up for this disappointing start to our vacation. Our reservation is under [redacted] We aim to find a new hotel with a functional swim-up bar, a fair exchange rate, and fair treatment to all guests. As a retiree from American Airlines with 45 years of service, I have never been more let down by a hotel. Despite the nice room, the overall experience does not align with the advertised amenities.

I am frustrated by the service I received from Expedia. I was unable to redeem my United Travel Certificate on their website as promised, leading to complications in cancelling my booking. Despite trying to cancel within an hour, the website did not process it correctly. After days of waiting for a refund, I was passed back and forth between Expedia and United with no resolution. I was eventually informed I would only receive a credit, but I want my money back since I cancelled promptly online. The Expedia website and phone system are unreliable and need improvement.

I booked a round trip through Expedia from Beirut to Larnaca for Oct 25 to 29. Due to my mom's cancer treatment, I needed to adjust my return flight from Friday to Thursday, Oct 28. I incurred a rebooking fee and fare difference. I received an email confirmation from Amadeus for the change. Despite this, I couldn't find the updated reservation in Expedia's system and struggled to reach their customer service. Subsequently, I contacted MEA customer service, and they successfully made the alteration for me, including charging me the fees. Now, I am requesting Expedia to refund the rebooking and fare difference fees they applied without fulfilling the change on their end.

However, we were unexpectedly asked to pay an extra two thousand dollars due to our 15-year-old son being considered an adult by the hotel. Despite our attempts to address this discrepancy with Expedia, we were left to resolve the situation independently. Furthermore, the hotel enforced a policy allowing only two adults per room, leading to additional charges and accommodation adjustments for our family.
