I purchased two multi-city flight tickets from March 16th to 29th, [redacted] through Orbitz on January 13th, [redacted]. I planned the trip to attend a dental conference, which was canceled due to the coronavirus outbreak. With flight restrictions and cancellations, I am unable to travel, even for leisure purposes. Unfortunately, I tried to cancel my flight through Orbitz's website and app, but encountered technical issues. Despite multiple attempts to reach them by phone over three days, I was unable to get through. Orbitz's unprofessional handling of the situation has caused a lot of inconvenience and financial strain. My itinerary number is #[redacted][redacted], and my booking confirmation ID is VA79YI. I attempted to cancel my flight with flight insurance and filed a claim. I was informed it would take 10-15 days, but it has been longer than that. I recently experienced a health emergency and submitted all the necessary information. I was supposed to receive a tracking number, but have not received one yet. I am frustrated with the lack of progress and feel the situation is not being handled properly. I am considering taking legal action if the issue is not resolved promptly. Regarding Itinerary # [redacted][redacted], We are currently on a cruise that was supposed to conclude in Papeete, Tahiti. However, we have been informed that we cannot disembark there and will instead be docking in Hilo, Hawaii on March 20th. Originally, we had flights booked from Papeete to Knoxville, TN. We managed to cancel our hotel booking in Papeete, but when we tried to contact the airline to change our flight, we were on hold for about 1.5 hours before giving up. Despite multiple attempts today, we have been unable to reach them. We urgently need to reschedule our American Airlines Flight # [redacted] from Papeete on March 17th to depart from Hilo, Hawaii after 12 pm on March 20th. My name is Daniel S. I made a hotel reservation at Costa Norte Boutique Hotel in Miami Beach, FL from 03/18/20-03/22/20 with Itinerary# [redacted][redacted]. Despite being excited originally, due to the current Coronavirus pandemic, my job, family, and friends strongly advised against traveling. I had to cancel my flight, which the airline thankfully accommodated. However, the hotel has a strict no-refund policy in place. They suggested reaching out to Expedia, as the booking was made through them, to see if any assistance can be provided. The hotel offered a credit for a stay within the next 12 months, but uncertainty around future travel plans due to the pandemic makes this difficult. Given the circumstances, a refund would be greatly appreciated as every dollar matters at the moment. I have been attempting to contact Expedia for days without success due to high call volumes. I need to change my flight on Tuesday, March 18th, due to feeling unwell to avoid any inconvenience to others. Despite being in Vietnam, I struggled to reach Expedia for assistance. Unfortunately, I faced issues with their customer service. If I had been aware of these challenges, I would have booked directly with United Airlines. However, United Airlines advises contacting Expedia first. After years of being a loyal Expedia customer, I am now contemplating my options.

I made a flight reservation for three travelers to Panama on January 13 through Expedia. Our flight from Miami to Panama with Copa Airlines was scheduled for Saturday, March 28. I purchased travel protection as well. Due to the cancellation of our tour and my health condition (I am a cancer patient with a weakened immune system), I need to cancel this trip. Additionally, I had reserved two rooms at the Courtyard by Marriott Panama Multiplaza Mall for March 28. Despite my numerous attempts to reach Expedia for cancellation, I've been informed that I must contact them as the third party involved. I have been trying to change my hotel reservation due to the increasing travel restrictions during the Coronavirus outbreak. I have called the [redacted] [redacted] number numerous times since March 10th, but have only received a voicemail instructing me to call back. I have been trying to reach a customer service representative without success. I need to postpone my trip from April 18th to April 25th to a later date when the situation with Coronavirus improves. We tried to cancel our hotel reservation directly but were informed it must be done through Expedia. After contacting Expedia, they relayed that the hotel denied the refund and advised using the travel insurance we bought. Expedia stated it was the first time they couldn't cancel without a penalty. Though we purchased the insurance on Expedia's site for this situation, they claim it's now a third-party matter. Both Expedia and the hotel say they cannot assist. We will proceed with a claim through AIG. Kindly cancel the reservation.

The first one is for Kings' land from 3/17-3/21 (#[redacted][redacted]) and the second is for Kauai Marriott Resort from 3/21-3/24 (#[redacted][redacted]). I'm aware of your updated policy allowing free cancellations because of the coronavirus situation. Since our travel plans are affected, I need to cancel both reservations urgently. I noticed an unauthorized charge of $80 on my Discover card from Expedia. I did not make this purchase and would appreciate a prompt refund to my account. Joe Tian, the one who made the booking, assured us we could decline it at pick-up. I contacted our insurance provider to confirm we did not need additional coverage. I was charged on my Citi Card by Expedia for a reservation at Coconut Cay Resort & Marina in Florida on March 5th to March 6th, [redacted]. The reservation was under Jennifer Jackson's name for two adults, but it was canceled the following day. I have a confirmation email for the cancellation. I contacted the resort, and they confirmed no reservation was made under my name. The credit card used was in my name, Richard Rogow. The Expedia itinerary number is [redacted][redacted]. I made hotel reservations through your website, and upon speaking with the general manager, Kyle Overacker, he advised me to reach out to your team for a refund due to our flight being rescheduled. I've tried calling multiple times, experiencing delays due to high call volume. Although I managed to cancel the room, I haven't received a refund as promised by Kyle. I attempted to cancel my flight from Istanbul to Lyon on March 15th with Turkish Airlines flight TK [redacted] due to the current situation with Coronavirus and the closure of the French and Turkish borders.
