Hello, I am Ramy K. I made a reservation on hotels.com from October 4th to October 6th at Sunrise Romance Sahl Hasheesh Hotel with confirmation number [redacted][redacted]. I paid online in full. Upon arrival, I was denied entry because I am not a British national. Hotels.com tried to assist but the situation worsened, leaving us waiting in the lobby for 6 hours. I asked for the reservation to be canceled and a refund, but have not received it yet. They claim they are working on it, but already refunded a friend on the same day. I expect Expedia, as the parent company, to intervene and resolve this issue promptly. I have also left a review on TripAdvisor and sent an email to [redacted] but to no avail. I hope for a swift resolution. Thank you.

I made a booking at the Grand Millennium Business Bay hotel in Dubai for October 5 to October 28. Shortly after, I received an email about an important business commitment on those dates. When I tried to cancel, the hotel informed me it was non-refundable and advised me to contact Expedia for assistance with altering or canceling my reservation. I am hoping for a refund of $[redacted].18 charged to my credit card as it has been less than an hour since booking and circumstances beyond my control have arisen. I booked a room at Sheraton Needham through Expedia on Sept 3, [redacted], and paid $[redacted].99 for 2 nights. During my stay, Sheraton charged me $[redacted].07 for the room, resulting in an overcharge. I am seeking a refund of $[redacted].92 from Expedia for the discrepancy. Prepaying for a room with Expedia should not lead to additional charges upon arrival. The purpose of using services like Expedia is to save money, not be overcharged. I kindly request that the $[redacted].92 overcharge be refunded to the card used for the original purchase.

I booked a pickup from Campiano Airport in Rome through Expedia with Conzorsio. Unfortunately, the car didn't show up despite confirmation the day before. When I contacted the office again, they informed me the car had broken down and they couldn't provide another one. They offered no assistance and just advised us to take a taxi. We ended up paying 40 euros to a taxi driver to get to our hotel. I have a receipt from the taxi and was told to seek a refund through Expedia by Conzorsio. I made a reservation through Expedia for a hotel that ended up being a bed and breakfast upon our arrival after an 18-hour flight. The room was small with plaster coming off the walls in the bedroom and bathroom. When I asked the owner for a larger room since we were staying for two weeks, I was told they had one but were keeping it for someone else. I expressed my concerns about the small room, but only stayed one night due to exhaustion. The next morning, the owner's husband was quite rude during breakfast. Despite contacting Expedia and the owner, we were denied a refund as they claimed to have lost a potential two-week booking. We have since moved to a lovely hotel nearby. I checked the website, and the hotel we departed from shows no availability, which concerns me as our room was fully paid for. I suspect they may have double-booked to profit twice. I made a reservation for two nights in December in New Zealand through Expedia.com on September 22. Five days later, I needed to cancel and rebook elsewhere. Expedia cancelled my reservation, but then informed me of a 50% cancellation fee, even though their terms state otherwise. Upon contacting the property, they confirmed they would not charge me the fee. Despite this, I have been trying to clarify with Expedia why the penalty was applied and have received no response or the promised 50% refund. Dear all, I urgently need assistance with a booking issue I encountered. I recently attempted to book a flight from Beirut to Istanbul (round trip) with MEA Airlines for October 26th and 29th. I also booked a 3-night stay at the Q Pera Hotel in Istanbul for two travelers, Faten R. and Habib A. Despite providing my credit card information ending in [redacted], I received an error message during payment processing. Booking Confirmation Number [redacted][redacted]: Upon our arrival at the hotel, we were informed of an overbooking situation. The host handled the situation by paying an extra 99 Euros for a rebooking without notifying us beforehand. We spent over 2 hours resolving the issue with the host's assistance using their WiFi. The alternative accommodation Expedia arranged was over 50 km away from our intended location, causing frustration and inconvenience. It was disappointing that our evening was disrupted, preventing us from enjoying a relaxed evening. The substitute hotel provided was unsatisfactory, with noise and cleanliness issues. We request compensation for the inconvenience caused by the lack of communication regarding the change in our booking. Additionally, we request a refund for the host's out-of-pocket expenses and effort in arranging the alternative accommodation, including the use of their phone and WiFi.

I contacted customer service to report the awful experience I had making a reservation due to the noise and screaming in the background. Unfortunately, when I shared my complaint, the representative had trouble understanding me. This was my first time using Expedia, and it will probably be my last. I was left very disappointed with the service. Have a good day.

This was my first time using Expedia to make a hotel reservation, and it was a terrible experience. The background noise, including laughing and screaming, was so loud I could barely hear the representative. I had to constantly ask for repeats. I understand this is an outsourced organization, but there should be better training provided. It will likely be my last experience. When I called customer service, I had to hang up on the representative as she couldn't understand me, which was very frustrating. Anyway, have a good day.

I made a booking for a 3-bedroom apartment at Aanuka Beach Resort, Coffs Harbour, from October 24th to 27th for the price of A$1,[redacted]. I received an email asking about my check-in on October 17th, which confused me. When I contacted the resort, they mentioned a booking for the 17th and that the one for the 24th had been canceled. I explained that we intend to arrive on the 24th, having already paid in full. The resort mentioned bookings being made through Hotels.com and Booking.com, with one cancellation. This has caused an issue as my family reunion plans are at stake with relatives from Queensland also booked to join us. I need this matter resolved before our arrival on the 24th to avoid any inconvenience.

Dear Sir or Madam, I had a reservation at the Best Western Plus Paris Orly Airport hotel through Hotels.com (reservation #[redacted][redacted]) for one night (10/22-10/23) to fly back to the US from Orly Airport on 10/23. Unfortunately, due to my daughter's allergic reaction in Amsterdam, we have to return to the US from there instead. We will lose our nonrefundable airfare from Paris to NJ. I kindly ask for a refund of the room fee, even though it is a nonrefundable rate. The hotel management suggested I contact Expedia regarding the refund. Subject: Transfer Service Experience in Istanbul Needs Improvement Last week, I conversed with Mr. Prutihvi from Expedia, who assured me a callback within 2 days. However, eight days later, I am yet to receive any communication. I must express my disappointment with the pick-up service in Istanbul. Upon our arrival on July 2nd, the arranged SPEEDY SHUTTLE service was nowhere to be found. It took considerable effort to locate the service, causing a delay in our plans. Similarly, on July 9th, when it was time to return to the airport, no one arrived for our pick-up. After contacting Grup Istambul Turizm/Avias Customer Service and being informed of the oversight, steps were taken to address the issue with Expedia Germany and the local office in Bangkok.
