I asked for a refund from a hotel that usually has a non-refundable policy, but the manager made an exception because my booking was canceled immediately due to an error. My daughter has reached out to your team multiple times and has not received any response. The booking was for Eloise William's stay at Heathrow Airport Apartments on September 17th-18th. I am looking to book a flight from KBP on October 26 with Ukraine International Airlines at 11:20 AM to BWI (Air Canada) arriving at 10:03 PM. The return flight is on November 9 with Air Canada at 5:15 PM to KBP at 4:05 PM the next day. While trying to make the booking on Expedia, I encountered a payment information error. I double-checked my details and they were correct. Despite this, when I tried booking again, the same payment problem occurred three times, resulting in three charges on my USAA bank account by UIA totaling $18,[redacted]. My name is Walter O. Scott. I am seeking assistance as I only need one set of tickets for my wife and myself for an upcoming doctor's appointment in Baltimore.

I booked a room at the Daniel Vienna hotel on Expedia under the name Polimnia Kotsoni for two adults with confirmation code [redacted]35 last night. Initially, I tried to pay with a PayPal card, but it said the reservation was unsuccessful. I then used a Visa card and this payment went through. I received two emails indicating successful payments, one for PayPal and the other for Visa. I'm concerned that I may have inadvertently made two reservations for the same room with different cards. I would like to confirm if this is the case and if so, inquire about the refund process due to Expedia's error. Thank you.

My itinerary number is [redacted][redacted]. I see that I was correctly charged $1,[redacted] for the package, but there is an additional charge of $[redacted].91 from Virgin Australia on my debit MasterCard account that I do not understand. It seems my card details were provided directly to Virgin Australia, and I am unsure why this charge is happening. This situation is causing stress as we were initially informed that the total amount due was $1,[redacted]. We reached out to your team yesterday regarding this matter.

Good day, I tried to book a Bundle and Save deal on September 30th for flights from Johannesburg to Dubai, staying at the Grand Millenium Business Bay from October 1st to 5th, [redacted]. I was unexpectedly charged when I completed the booking without logging into my account. The card used was [redacted]. I have not received the tickets, and after being told the money would be refunded within 24 hours, I am still waiting for the reversal. My email is [redacted], used through Facebook login, and my new account is [redacted] This is urgent as I need to make new bookings soon. Please assist.

Hello, I urgently need assistance with my booking #[redacted][redacted]. I have been experiencing difficulties with Liverpool Street Flats where we have reservations. The establishment requires us to message ahead of our arrival, but our attempts to contact them have all been unsuccessful. We suspect it might be a scam as the phone number provided led us to an unhelpful response, and our emails have gone unanswered. Due to a medical emergency, we must find alternative accommodation for 4 people in London from October 3rd to October 5th, [redacted], ideally in close proximity to our initial booking. My flight was canceled due to a transit visa issue that we were unaware of. After waiting for 12 hours, we left for 2 hours, and our Japan to Nepal flight was canceled. I asked if I could pay upon arrival at DMK airport, but was told it wasn't possible, and to contact Expedia. When I reached out to Expedia.co.jp, there was no response. I'm concerned about getting a refund for my Nagoya to Bangkok flight as well as my DMK to KTM flight, as the total charge for 2 tickets was [redacted],[redacted] yen.

Subject: Disappointing Hotel Experience in Florence Itinerary: [redacted] I am reaching out regarding my recent stay at Hotel Paris in Florence. Despite booking and paying $[redacted].08 for 2 nights in July, upon arrival, I was informed that there was no room available due to a previous roof leak. Unfortunately, I was not notified in advance. The hotel then arranged for me to stay at a different, subpar hotel for the same cost. Dissatisfied with the accommodation, I expressed my concerns and requested a refund to my credit card. However, I was directed to contact Expedia for any refunds. This unexpected turn of events led to a challenging travel experience, forcing me to incur additional expenses by staying outside the city center. Hello, I'm Avi Harel. My most recent itinerary is [redacted][redacted]. I wanted to share my recent experience with Expedia. My wife and I were scheduled to fly to Budapest on an El- AL flight on the morning of 26.09.[redacted] and return to Israel on 30.09.[redacted]. I also made our hotel reservation through Expedia. On 25.09.[redacted], while checking our flight details, I was surprised to discover that our flight had been canceled without any prior notification. This situation caused great discomfort, especially as we were heading to participate in the Budapest Marathon. After contacting one of your representatives (whose name I can't recall), I learned that our return flight with Hahn Air was not valid. As a loyal customer who has always booked flights through Expedia, I believe I deserve appropriate compensation for the inconvenience caused to me. Thank you in advance, Avi Harel

I initially reserved a room at the Sleep Inn in Stony Creek, VA for $99.00 plus taxes and fees. Later, Expedia offered the same room for $79.00 plus taxes and fees. I canceled my original reservation for Sept. 28 - Sept. 29 and re-booked it at the lower rate. Expedia provided me with a confirmation number [redacted] and an itinerary number [redacted]. When I arrived at the Sleep Inn on Sept. 28, they had no record of my reservation. After contacting Expedia's customer service and facing long hold times and disconnections, I was informed that I could get a refund for the price difference by faxing the Hampton Inn receipt. I have faxed the receipt but am uncertain if it was received. I have been unsuccessful in reaching Expedia's corporate office by phone. I am eager to receive my refund and resolve this issue due to the mishandling of my reservation by Expedia's agent. Thank you.

I have made reservations for 2 rooms at the Hampton Inn in Mount Pleasant, SC, located on Sessions Way, for October 25th and 26th. The booking was completed using my credit card under the name Thomas Banks. Unfortunately, my friend Thomas Huguenin cannot attend due to an unexpected surgery scheduled for October 22nd. I made a reservation through Expedia for a trip to El Paso from 9/18-20 (Itinerary #[redacted][redacted]). Unfortunately, I missed the trip due to illness. One airline provided credit, and the other refunded the full amount even though the tickets were non-refundable. The Hawthorne Suites El Paso hotel informed me they refunded Expedia for the prepaid rooms, however, I have not received my $[redacted].23 refund for the hotel booking. I kindly request that Expedia process the refund to the credit card used for the payment.

I, Gabrielle Nichols-Walker, made a hotel reservation through your website a week prior to my stay. Upon my arrival at the hotel on September 27th, I was refused check-in since I am 18 years old and the hotel policy required guests to be at least 21 years old. Despite the reservation being in my name, I was not allowed to stay. I had to quickly find another hotel to accommodate me before an event I was attending. It was disappointing to face this situation due to the age requirement not being communicated by Expedia or the hotel during the booking process. I arrived at the check-in desk only to find out that my ticket had been canceled, causing me to miss my flight. I traveled from Brussels Airport to Tunisia on the same day and had to purchase a new ticket from Expedia. I am requesting compensation from Expedia for the following: half the price of my original ticket, $[redacted] for the new ticket, 80 Euros for the train ticket from Düsseldorf to Brussels Airport, and $[redacted] for a hotel booking in Tunis due to missing my connecting flight. During my recent medical emergency with my wife, I contacted Expedia to modify our travel plans. Unfortunately, the process was incredibly frustrating. I spent over three hours on the phone with five different agents, experienced disconnections, and received multiple callbacks. To make matters worse, the airfare cost surged from $20 to $[redacted] due to the delays. Dealing with United directly could have been a much quicker solution. This entire ordeal has made my longstanding travel history, which includes millions of air miles, tarnished by this negative experience with Expedia.

On Sunday morning, October 6th, I attempted to book a flight on Expedia for my daughter and myself from Beirut to Lebanon. After entering my payment information, I was charged twice for the "Protect My Flight" fee, totaling $[redacted], but my payment for the tickets was not accepted. I eventually had someone else purchase the tickets using a different account without the "Protect My Flight" option. I am confused as to why the fee was taken but the ticket payment was not accepted on the same card. It caused inconvenience for my trip, and I seek a full refund promptly. Thank you.

Hello, I would like to share my recent disappointing experience with a car rental reservation made through your platform with BUDGET Company in Sicily. Upon receiving the car with the basic insurance package, no company agent was present to inspect the vehicle with me. Upon return, an agent noticed minor paint damage on the car and blamed me for it, insisting on charging an additional [redacted] Euros - which I strongly dispute. Due to time constraints before my flight, I was unable to seek assistance from customer service. I made a reservation for two rooms at the Falstaff Hotel in Royal Leamington Spa for October 4, [redacted], to October 6, [redacted]. When I arrived, I was surprised to find out that the hotel was undergoing renovations, which I hadn't been informed about. I received the room keys after a long journey from Canada to Scotland then to England, hoping for a shower and rest. Unfortunately, there was no hot water, and despite being told it would be fixed that day and the next, the issue persisted. I've tried contacting the manager for compensation to no avail. Additionally, there was no telephone service in my room to reach my daughter in the other room, forcing me to leave my room regularly. This experience ruined my holiday, and I believe I deserve some form of compensation. My itinerary number is [redacted][redacted]. I insist on a full refund for this unacceptable situation. I won't return to this hotel or recommend it to others.

On June 14, [redacted], I purchased airline tickets for my parents. However, I did not receive the tickets via email. After contacting the airline, I was informed that there was no reservation in my name. I ended up buying another set of tickets at a higher price for the same passengers and travel details. Later, I discovered that I was charged for four tickets instead of two. Despite contacting customer service and being promised a partial refund, the remaining balance has not been credited as of October 8, [redacted]. I never cancelled any tickets as I never received them. I am requesting proof of where the airline tickets were sent. If this matter is not resolved by Expedia, I will escalate it to US consumer affairs, Better Business Bureau, US consumer protection agency, or pursue legal action. I am currently in Catania and rented a car from Hertz. Upon arrival, I was asked to sign multiple documents without being shown any damage on the vehicle. I later received an email from Hertz claiming that I had confirmed scratches on the car, which was not true. It seems my signature was copied from a previous iPad signature without my consent. This fraudulent activity needs to be addressed, as I fear they may wrongfully charge me for damages I did not cause. I wanted to bring this to your attention before returning the car.
