I booked a flight through Expedia, itinerary *HVS*Z*. My wife had an appointment with a specialist at Johns Hopkins Medical Center. We were notified weeks later that the specialist we were supposed to see had been tragically killed in a car crash, hit by a drunk driver. *We were then told we would have to reschedule our appointment. My booking had the cancellation insurance. I called Expedia several times and they kept passing the buck to the insurance, no help what so ever. *End result we lose $***.** because the doctor who was killed is not our immediate family member. RIDICULOUS!!!*I booked my flight through expedia...*I paid Expedia.... And they were no help whatsoever...*Very poor customer service or loyalty.
GetHuman-hshort did not yet indicate what Expedia should do to make this right.
