The issue in GetHuman-airekal's own words
Hi! *We made a reservation on September **th to the hotel Broadway at Times square Hotel through Expedia webpage and just a few seconds later on the same webpage (we did not even close the open page) we pushed cancel button. Webpage showed a message: your reservation is cancelled ( or something similar , do not remeber exactly). I did not get any email about booking confirmation nor canceling. I checked my expedia account and it did not show any upcoming reservations for me. So we were sure that everything is ok and we do not need to worry. *But now the hotel (or expedia) has charged the money for first hotel night from the bank account. How is it possible? Hotel says that they could not do anything that that is expedia platvorm problem. *I got one email from expedia where was sayd that expedia can not do anything. How is it so? All clicks we made where done throug expedia webpage! It supposed to be your responsibility if the cancellation did not go through. Why didn't I see the upcoming reservation in my expedia account? There was like nothing and now after they charged money I see the reservation like we stayed in hotel.*We would like a refund because this misunderstanding took place because of the expedia platvorm.
GetHuman-airekal did not yet indicate what Expedia should do to make this right.
