Itinerary ************* DISASTER!!! Town House, Reyjkavik Iceland. I paid C$***.** to reserve aroom is what is not a guest house but, possibly, a hostel. In any case, the co-owner *Bjorgvin' knew of my reservation (I was coming from London after midnight* BUT ALL FOUR ROOMS WERE ALREADY LET OUT. The only way to know Town House is any kind of guest house? is to approach the unlit front door and find a tiny brass plaque on the door that says Town House. There is a Trip Advisor sticker in the window of what could be the entry to the main floor of the house but the room is full of runners, a baby stroller...stuff! When the owner finally came to the door (I had been unsuccessfully calling from the bus station), he was half-dressed. He took a key from a lock box for the room intended to be mine. However, all rooms were occupied. The carpeted stairs to the second floor are a danger to life and limb, and there were cleaning supplies on the landing.**My Expedia confirmation indicates in part (part is missing) that I had previously contacted Michaela at Expedia about my late arrival. So, at *:** AM, the taxi driver kindly drove me around looking for a room (and he charged me US$***), but to no avail. I finally wound up at the FossHotel Reyjkavik for the *bargain*price of *** euros (at *:** AM). What a nightmare for a ** year old traveler!**Front desk staff at two other (both full) hotels confirmed that Town House is no 'hotel'.**Once again I have been badly served by Expedia! Please look into Itinerary *************, St. Giles Hotel, London. I spent hours on the phone from Toronto (speak to Mohsen, a supervisor) trying to cancel my last night July *). Mohsen assured me that he would follow through and didn*t. Arrived in London and they had no written request from Expedia. Again, much more wasted time! This is disgraceful. Please aact on my two complaints IMMEDIATELY.
