Travelguard policy* ***********Expedia itinerary * **************I purchased a travelguard policy when booking my flight. I had to change my flight to * days later and wished to change the travel dates on my policy. The outcome of at least * phone calls and * hrs being bounced back and forth with travelguard, expedia & hotwire.com. Each company advising me that I needed to speak to the other to make a modification. A hotwire supervisor finally told me their computer system had no provision for them to change dates and I wasn't eligible for a refund because was more than ** days post purchase. There was no disclosure in the terms*conditions that dates couldn't be changed in fact the travelguard site allows for this so long as you didn't buy from Expedia (as per travelguard agent ). I am the victim of a broken system, out of pocket $*** and with no policy for my actual travel dates. You have * days to refund my money or this will go to consumer protection agencies. As it is not my fault your computer system is not adequate to service the products that you are selling and no disclosure regarding change of dates was made to me.**Sincerely*Lara Campbell
