I cancelled a room at Americinn by Wyndham in Coralville, IA for * night on ****. Mt flight, which was to leave Chicago at **.** pm on the **th was delayed * times then cancelled at almost midnight. I called the hotel as soon as I heard the flight was cancelled to cancel the room at which time was told to contact the general manager to get a refund, since the room cancellation was out of my control.*When I called the manager I was told that I had to contact you at Expedia to get a refund. Since I was traveling while sick with flu and ended up having to spend a night on a cot in a corridor at O'Hare airport, I was in little condition to spend a lot of time on the phone. Once I arrived in Cedar Rapids I had yet to drive an hour and a half home. I have since tried to contact someone at Expedia by phone, but I cannot get past some of the questions on your menus. Why can I not speak to a person? Since I was not the person making the reservations, I do not have access to the Confirmation number for the tickets. When I entered the phone number from which the reservations were made, I was told the number does not exist - it most certainly does. I don't know what else I can do to contact you. Please help
